stuckincincy Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 he may now still be.... Maybe our set of QB's need to make sure and read this... Check out his inspirational/speaking engagement biz before you anoint him. He's been an anything-for-a-buck fellow for quite a while.
Quester74 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I was just going to post this same article.. I'm beginning to put Franny and Curt Schilling in the same light. Anything to get their voice on the radio, I guess.
/dev/null Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 OJ was mine. How did OJ hack your computer? / / \ <Esc> Slash Slash Backslash Escape
bowery4 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Actually this is why we draft Tebrow in the 2nd next year, he is right.
Geno Smith's Arm Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Actually this is why we draft Tebrow in the 2nd next year, he is right. I don't want a virgin for a quarterback....I mean it.
/dev/null Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I don't want a virgin for a quarterback....I mean it. I doubt Tebow is a virgin...Tebow's Girlfriend
KD in CA Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Good topic. My parents were both raised in the Twin Cities area so an early love of the Vikes (along with the Pack and of course the Bills) was ingrained. OJ, Tark, Ahmad Rashad and Johnny Bench were my favorite athletes pre-1980.
reddogblitz Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Roger Staubach was favorite growing up. I of course have fond memories of "The Hail Mary". But I think Fran's right. Myself and others on here have said the same about Trent and if another QB could do better. A good QB Big Ben or Roger Staubach MAKE STUFF HAPPEN WHEN THERE IS NOTHING. Trent or Fitz haven't shown anything close to this. If we had a better QB we could be doing better with the rest of the team as is. I hold Dick responsible for this. Trent's the best he's been able to come up with. After that game Thursday night and the one against the Falcons on Sunday night a few weeks ago, I'm starting to wonder it Jay can play too. Just because someone gets paid to say something, does that make it not true?
KD in CA Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Roger Staubach was favorite growing up. I of course have fond memories of "The Hail Mary". Pearson pushed off. Cowpukes were the Pats* of the day....they got every call they needed.
Geno Smith's Arm Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I doubt Tebow is a virgin...Tebow's Girlfriend Okay. I don't want a QB that claims to be a virgin.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HS8qqNnR3aM
Spiderweb Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I doubt Tebow is a virgin...Tebow's Girlfriend ....hummmm..... That's Lucy Pinder of British fame (page 3, etc). She is not Tebow's girlfriend. Nice try.....poor, but nice....
PistolPeaTear Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Actually this is why we draft Tebrow in the 2nd next year, he is right. im sorry, but why would u want another qb who cant throw
reddogblitz Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Pearson pushed off. Cowpukes were the Pats* of the day....they got every call they needed. whatever
bowery4 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 im sorry, but why would u want another qb who cant throw Because he makes plays and wins (didn't Belicheat have a thing for proven winners in his QB profile thing?). And frankly, I don't think you read the link.
BillsfaninFl Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 How did OJ hack your computer? / / \ <Esc> Slash Slash Backslash Escape Hey, don't pick on OJ. Even while in jail he is searching for the real killer.
KD in CA Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Because he makes plays and wins (didn't Belicheat have a thing for proven winners in his QB profile thing?). College football has a long history of QBs who 'make plays and win' (especially playing Vandy) but have no hope of succeeding at the pro level.
PistolPeaTear Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Because he makes plays and wins (didn't Belicheat have a thing for proven winners in his QB profile thing?).And frankly, I don't think you read the link. I heard the Tarkenton Interview, don't worry about me clicking your link. Frankly, i live in Florida, seen the kid play. He's played in pretty much a spread option his whole life. And well that really doesn't translate well into the NFL (ex. Alex Smith). They are not winning because of him this year, they are winning because of their defense. He makes good decisions, but i just cant trust a QB who can't throw well and has never really played in cold weather. that's something you really want in buffalo?? again??
Jim in Anchorage Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Pearson pushed off. Cowpukes were the Pats* of the day....they got every call they needed. Well the Vikings had some luck to. That Minnesota fan bopping the ref on the head with a whiskey bottle chuck is one of my all time sports memory's.
