MaineMoxie Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I remember at one point in that season, the bills started rookies at qb, running backs and both wide recievers,,,,,it was one long year And therein lies the difference. Then and in the horrid seasons between Knox and Levy the slump never lasted more than about 2-3 years. The franchise is presently in a decade-long run of mediocrity that has hit its nadir with Dick Jauron. At this point, I'd rather be blown out every game because it would be more interesting to watch. Mularkey's and Gilbride's and Pendry's offenses were infuriating at times but at least the games were often exciting.
VADC Bills Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I remember at one point in that season, the bills started rookies at qb, running backs and both wide recievers,,,,,it was one long year I concur with this thread. This was clearly the worst offense. Dan Darragh, Bob Cappadonna. We would not have gotten OJ with out those guys.
Haven Moses Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Did you know that when Dan Darraugh was at William & Mary, Marv Levy was on the coaching staff?
Wagon Circler Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Let's not sell short the Bruce Mathison/Greg Bell years. Dan Darragh- "Mini" Max Anderson
