Tipster19 Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 The Eagles usually trade players before they completely expire and still hold value. McNabb falls into that category and is the veteran leadership that this organization has sorely been needing for quite some time. It's hard to say what the fair compensation would be but the Bills should step up for a player like McNabb because they sure don't have the future QB for this team on the roster as of now.

The Big Cat Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 How are you posting from my account 8 months ago!?
vincec Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Why not go for Peyton Manning or Drew Brees. They are even better...
H2o Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I would do it, but the cost would be the key. I wouldn't give up but so much for the soon to be 33 year old McNabb, nothing like the Bears had to give up for Cutler or anything. If it was reasonable though, I would do it. We'd have to be sure to get him a quality line though because McNabb has been inury prone over the last 5 or 6 seasons.
mrags Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I would take McNabb in a heartbeat. I have a feeling if they fail in the playoffs he may be on the way outs. The other thing is we would need to draft a rookie QB early. The rook would get a few games of playing time each year as McNabb usually gets hurt for a few.
LongLiveRalph Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 If there is truth to the rumors of this upcoming "uncapped" season, then don't expect the Bills to win (or even get involved in) a bidding war for any big-name free agent.
SouthGeorgiaBillsFan Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 LOL. Sign Michael Jordan. Woot.
wonderbread Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Mcnabb would never come here. If he was traded he'd probably retire before he let Dick get him killed for 16 games a year.
Tortured Soul Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Why not go for Peyton Manning or Drew Brees. They are even better... We need mobility behind this line.
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Why not go for Peyton Manning or Drew Brees. They are even better... seriously, what about Tom Brady?
Sisyphean Bills Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I'm all for trading Roscoe Parrish for Big Ben.
Captain Hindsight Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Ya that should only cost our entire draft
Kipers Hair Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 If either one can man the Tackle position - I am all for bringing them in!

Exactly. Behind this OL McNabb would be facing a choice between voluntary or forced retirement when he got concussed like Edwards. The youth and play of th OL is the rate limiting factor here.
