JohnC Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Living in Baltimore, the complaint was always how can an offensive guru never create a strong passing attack? They relied on the D over the years with coordinators like Marvin Lewis and Rex Ryan. There is a simple answer to your question: You need a quality qb to create a strong passing attack. Boller and the other collection of mediocre qbs never gave the Ravens a chance to be a good offensive team. The Ravens have their franchise qb in Flacco and the positive results flow from his abilities. It seems to me the issue of who will be the next HC is a little premature and backwards. The real issue for this incompetent organization is the clueless owner going to hire a competent GM who is astute in assessing talent and knows how to build a good team. The pigmies in this organization have shown an inability to hire the right people. So why does anyone think things will dramatically change when the same clowns are involved in the decision making?
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Jim Hasslet will be are next coach.. If I am wrong I will leave this board forever. Anybody want to take that wager. Negotiations are already in progress I'm sure. career NFL winning %43.5, another loser... You may be right as he fits the profile, bu ti hope not.
reddogblitz Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I'd be very happy with this hire. It would also give the organization some cred which could help us sign some free agents.
