Fan in San Diego
I've had something similar to this happen to me. I had a server hacked and some group from Russia was using it as a music download warehouse. My internet provider noticed my usage jump way above normal and shut it down for me. Stuff like that does and can happen.
Fezmid
I've been pointing this out for years in regards to wireless networks that people leave open. Nothing to see here.

Chef Jim
Cops asked me how that body got stuffed in that crawl space under my house. I told them malware. I'm out on bail right now.
justnzane
when in college with my old P2 computer, i had a virus like this where it kept popping up regular porn site after site like that. I learned to put a good firewall up at all times as a result. I can most certainly imagine that some hacker has a warped sense of humor to do this with illegal picture files. let alone being that damn good to save such files to a very hidden folder in some part of the windows folder. Just Jack
One of the guys I used to work with was called out to look at a server that had been installed at a business a few months earlier and was already reporting the hard drives were almost full. He pokes around and finds the person from another company that installed it, made it an online file storage for his bootleg movies. Needless to say, lots of copying and burning of those files was done before reconfiguring it.
