Tommy Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I just saw this on ESPN.com http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4637300
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 He's been a tool ever since he arrived in KC and running backs are a dime-a-dozen. Next.
Red Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 For some reason I can see the Patriots signing him, getting a good 4 years out of him, and pounding out butts yet again two times every year.
stuckincincy Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Per banner at NFL.com. No article yet. http://www.nfl.com/ No surprise. He's been a poor performer recently, has a lot of miles on him, and cried like an infant about his contract a while back. I'm surprised he's even on their roster this season...I guess he has some cap cost that kept him on the roster - dunno.
Thoner7 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 "Fag" - the straw that broke the camels back.
Steely Dan Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 It'll be interesting to see where he goes and even more interesting to see how soon the "We should get him" dumbasses show up.
Conch Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Give the man his due.... he was a monster for several years behind a very good line. Behind a bad line no one can run or throw. Sounds like a familiar restrain?
StamerforPrez Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 It'll be interesting to see where he goes and even more interesting to see how soon the "We should get him" dumbasses show up. We should get him. Bench all of our WR's and run a wishbone offense with jackson, lynch and johnson. Or line all of them up as wideouts and go in full checkdown mode. There's your pop warner offense.
billsfreak Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Wow, this post is almost a half an hour old and no moronic, freaking retarded, uneducated, hit by a truck dumb sounding "Get'r Done Russ" post yet? Some asswipe is slipping today.
todd Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Give the man his due.... he was a monster for several years behind a very good line. Behind a bad line no one can run or throw. Sounds like a familiar restrain? Restrain?
Mr. WEO Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 To the Cowher fans---he said they should keep him in KC. Yikes.
H2o Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 It'll be interesting to see where he goes and even more interesting to see how soon the "We should get him" dumbasses show up. We should get him!!! I kid, I kid.
BB2004 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 For some reason I can see the Patriots signing him, getting a good 4 years out of him, and pounding out butts yet again two times every year. I agree Red. Also, if he does sign there I could see him being pretty effective. He certainly can still run the football.
Lv-Bills Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 He's been a tool ever since he arrived in KC and running backs are a dime-a-dozen. Next. He was kind of a tool and angry at Penn State too. This is one angry individual.
Wilson from Gamehendge Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 The Kansas City Chiefs released RB Larry Johnson on Monday. In 75 games (55 starts) with Kansas City, Johnson rushed 1,375 times for 5,996 yards (4.4 avg.) with 55 touchdowns. He also registered 151 receptions for 1,369 yards (9.1 avg.) with six TDs. He concluded his Chiefs career with 30 100-yard rushing games and also added two 100-yard receiving games. Johnson established an NFL single-season record with 416 rushing attempts in 2006 when he set a franchise single-season mark with 1,789 rushing yards. He originally entered the league as the Chiefs first-round selection (27th overall) in the 2003 NFL Draft out of Penn State
DrFishfinder Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 It'll be interesting to see where he goes and even more interesting to see how soon the "We should get him" dumbasses show up. To state the blatantly obvious, the Bills need to address several different issues. Larry Johnson is not the solution to any of them.
