zazie Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Vince Young is a winner, tough for some of you to swallow I know. He wins games though, huh, when his head is on straight. Orakpo, Hargrove, Greer Fletcher... all had great games again. Even old Sam Aiken got involved. But hey, Malcolm Kelly still sucks! so there is some saving grace for the "brain trust"
Thoner7 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Well Said. Orakpo Hargrove Greer should all be on this team 100%, and Fletcher prob should have been kept as well (we had a lot of holes back then and adding one more was not the best idea). Never liked Kelly, never liked Hardy either. He runs like his shoes are filled with cement. Agree with Vince, loved him at Texas, still like watching him now. I was happy to see their playcalling tailered to his abilities.
PromoTheRobot Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 So Young is back to being a winner? Wasn't he crying for his momma last season? PTR
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 That Chris Johnson character is going to run for about 300 yards next week.
otisly00 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 That Chris Johnson character is going to run for about 300 yards next week. which would be +1 more win for my fantasy team. At this point winning in fantasy > Bills winning.
Bills!Win! Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 That Chris Johnson character is going to run for about 300 yards next week. If I am correct the guy breaks off 80 yard runs every week. I can easily see a 350+ game for him. Then add White to the mix, thats over 500.... Oh... and vince can run too
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I think Chris Johnson sat out most of the 4th quarter of the previous week's game when he ran for 200+ yards against...Jacksonville?
/dev/null Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I don't recall Vince Young ever being a "potential Bill". The year he went #3 the Bills had the #8 pick, so he was already off the board. Plus we had just drafted the next great HoF QB 2 years prior Maybe you're assuming Tennessee cuts him and the Bills make a play?
benderbender Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Young definitely has some baggage. But I think Tennessee is intent on recouping whatever they can get from their former #1 draft pick. And you know the Cryptkeeper and the front office wouldn't pony up the dough to get him even if he was section 8

Plus we had just drafted the next great HoF QB 2 years prior Maybe you're assuming Tennessee cuts him and the Bills make a play? No it was a two-pronged post. First part was about Vince Young. Second was about potential Bills. Sorry for the confusion. Although Vince would be a big improvement over the Bills qb corp, we never had a chance at him, and unless he starts some dog fights, we likely never will.
Bufcomments Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Johnson, Vince and Tequila Man might set a new record this week running the Ball this week. I hope it is warm again this weekend, raking leaves is more fun than watching the Bills play....
GripnRip Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Whats it like to watch every weeks games and develop entirely new opinions of every player you watch......
reddogblitz Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 which would be +1 more win for my fantasy team. At this point winning in fantasy > Bills winning. Speak for yourself pal. "Fantasy" Football is for sissies. Go BILLS !!

I think the Tacks will owe him a HUGE amount of money before next season if they want to keep him. That is the reason the owner mandated he start after their bye. I agree with zazie I would take him in a heatbeat if he gets cut.
reddogblitz Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I agree with zazie I would take him in a heatbeat if he gets cut. I'd take him in 1/2 a heartbeat.
reddogblitz Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 And you know the Cryptkeeper and the front office wouldn't pony up the dough to get him even if he was section 8 Not sure who the "Cryptkeeper" is, but what makes you think the Bills wouldn't make a play for him? We ponied up $6,000,000 for one year to T. O. this year.
