MadBuffaloDisease
not even close to knots landing, this desperate housewives show is VERY funny. a ton of dark humor, people need to watch it to realize it isn't your typical prime time soap opera! I was determined NOT to watch it, because I thought it was like the title said, i.e. slutty women sleeping around. Then my wife said it wasn't like that at all and that it was quite funny. Since it had Terry Hatcher, Marcia Cross, and that newcomer Eva Longoria, I thought "what the heck, at least there are hot women on it." But it is actually a very well-done show with a lot of intrigue. Only Longoria's character is a slut and she'll get hers soon enough!

Typical TBD Guy
sometimes America looks like one crazy exotic country... the Janet Jackson incident was just plain funny showing how prudish main stream America is, but this one is just ridiculous , open your eyes! there's about one naked woman back a minute on MTV ! you really have a problem with nudity, sex and pleasures of life people! Is that why you are so violent?! Sometimes i wonder if America just need a collective therapy... or maybe a week or two of french TV ! (i can tell you french producers would not have cut at the waist line!) 121195 Any culture would seem too violent to a French metrosexual. Typical TBD Guy
Really, I don't understand why so many people do NOT have a problem with this. I'm a 23 year old guy who likes breasts, vaginas, sexual innuendos, and the like just as much as any other human male. But I also realize that there is a time and place for that in our daily lives. If I want to see that stuff, I can easily change the channel to a cable network or check out the internet or my porn collection, etc... And I also realize that there are families out there with kids between the ages of 3-12 (or so) who don't want to have to explain these things yet to their children. The non-cable networks, around 9pm, should be a safe haven for these families. If you really can't stand watching football without the sex aspect, then go buy a second TV and flip in a porno simultaneously with the game. Or better yet, go find a - gasp! - actual woman and bang the !@#$ out of her during the MNF commercials.

It's all down to placement. The commercial was probably funny. But it belonged somewhere else. I don't want to see porn on the History channel and I don't want to see the D-day landing if I turn to the Playboy channel. And I definitely didn't want to see Janet's flabby boob during the Super Bowl. I wonder why these producers cant understand the difference? Unfortunate to see so many unscrupulous characters roaming around this country. Just judging from what I have been reading online about this subject, there sure are a lot of pimple-faced dorks in this country getting major workouts with their hands. Like you said, there's an appropriate time and place for everything, yet that line is continually being crossed. Maybe some of you should rub one out before a football game. If I watch a porno, I don't expect to see a football game. Try and separate the two, it is possible.

1billsfan
I have to chime in on this. You people who think you are not prudes and are openminded yet feel offended by Sheridan's and Owen's spoof of a zany soap need to get a grip. Only prudes and closed minded people would be offended by this kind of fluff. I don't know what kind of porn you're watching but it must be produced by Disney if it only shows the bare back of a woman. I have a feeling it has more to do with social issues but I aint going to go there. Imagine what would happen if Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor tried to do their job interview skit in this day and age of non-awareness head-in-the-sand PC world? Heads would roll in a second. Network TV will be unwatchable in the very near future after all the networks force their shows to pass the politically correct religious right litmus test. Survivor had a man completely naked for an entire season and there was not even a peep. One Nicolette bare back and we are all going to hell in a handbasket. Get a freakin' grip. Right? 122122 Ok, so America must pass the RkFast offensive meter. Sorry if you were offended by that spoof but it was a harmless skit. Not everyone in this country is that easily offended. Just keep your family in that protective Barney bubble and everything will be alright. I have a question, why don't you get rid of your television sets if you're so easily offended? Because for every bare Nicollete back there are a thousand murders during the crime dramas. Oh that's right, killing people is ok on the networks. I forgot.
