Kingfish Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...ke-lovie-smith/ "I was here when coach Smith wasn't here," defensive end Alex Brown said. "So, I remember how it was. Not to say anything bad about coach [Dick] Jauron, but it's a lot different now." ("Different than Dick Jauron" isn't exactly an ideal endorsement.)
Gugny Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I'm no Jauron fan, but Lovie's best season was (13-3) in 2006, and they've sucked ever since. Doesn't sound a whole lot different to me.
uticaclub Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 they went to the super bowl that year, the playoffs the year before that & were 9-7 last year, much different then dicky j
Bruuuuce Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/article/20...-wild-ride-2010 uhhhh i think your missing a team...
HurlyBurly51 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 they went to the super bowl that year, the playoffs the year before that & were 9-7 last year, much different then dicky j Yeah, if that's sucking, I'll take that every day and twice on Sunday.
FLFan Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/article/20...-wild-ride-2010 uhhhh i think your missing a team... Further proof that Florio is nothing but a hack.
ExiledInIllinois Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/article/20...-wild-ride-2010 uhhhh i think your missing a team... On a side note about the picture in the article: How can Jeff Fisher and the TENN Titans be honoring the Houston Oilers franchise in their throwbacks? Kinda like the cheating whore being proud of their deeds. I know all records transfered to TENN (unlike CLEV)... But doesn't it feel/look slimey and greasy? Even more so now that Houston has a franchise back. "Hey look at the first wife I cheated on and damn proud of it!" Same thing with other leagues and games... Even worse in the NBA: LA Lakers? Utah Jazz? Back to your regularly scheduled program.
Mark Vader Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 they went to the super bowl that year, the playoffs the year before that & were 9-7 last year, much different then dicky j No question that Lovie is better than Dicky. Having said that, the Bears are'nt exactly world beaters.
mousetrap08 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/article/20...-wild-ride-2010 uhhhh i think your missing a team... See how bad the Bills are they are not even mentioned with all the other bad teams. They are completely forgotten about
ricojes Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 "I was here when coach Smith wasn't here," defensive end Alex Brown said. "So, I remember how it was. Not to say anything bad about coach [Dick] Jauron, but it's a lot different now." The same fans that were calling for DJ's firing, now want LS gone. Sounds the same to me...
Drey Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/article/20...-wild-ride-2010 uhhhh i think your missing a team... It's just that no person in their right mind would want to coach the Bills. So he didn't even bother mentioning them.
HurlyBurly51 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 The same fans that were calling for DJ's firing, now want LS gone. Sounds the same to me... Not sure where you're getting that from. This is absolutely nothing like the howling that was occuring during the DJ years.
Haven Moses Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 It's not like Lovie Smith is Mr. Personallity.
