Bills Fan888 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 2. This has been debated ad nauseum. I could care less if his players love him. I love my son, my wife, and my mother, but under no circumstance are they qualified and/or competent enough to be a HC of an NFL team. I was getting more at the fact that they play harder for him because they don't want him to get fired.
dave mcbride Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Rich was way uglier than Jauron. Nod for worst coach goes to Kotite on that. Kotite: 2 winning seasons out of 6, 1 .500 season, and one playoff win - http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/KotiRi0.htm Jauron: 1 winning season out nine (they're going to have a losing season again this year) and no playoff wins.
Sisyphean Bills Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Counting his last seven games with the Eagles, Kotite lost 35 of his final 39 games as an NFL head coach, for a winning percentage of .103. Before that, his percentage had been .632. Jauron could go as badly as 5-21 over the last 26 games, which would be a .192. Hmm. Maybe the Bills should keep him a few more years and see if he figures it out.
Cynical Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I was getting more at the fact that they play harder for him because they don't want him to get fired. I knew that. However, being a nice guy does not mean "qualified" or "competent". What Jauron is: A nice guy. What Jauron is NOT: A competent head coach.
