kota Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Anyone want to explain to me how the Head Coach picks the GM and then is the one explaining why he got fired? It's a bit odd.
zazie Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Anyone want to explain to me how the Head Coach picks the GM and then is the one explaining why he got fired? It's a bit odd. Browns were good a couple of years ago. They will be good again in a couple of years I am sure. Bills however, may STILL have DJ as coach and Russ running things, and and ever aging RW as owner. Rather be a Browns fa. But I am stuck for life!
Cynical Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Anyone want to explain to me how the Head Coach picks the GM and then is the one explaining why he got fired? It's a bit odd. Not the first time a HC got to decide or had a voice in deciding who the GM would be. As for why the HC is explaining why he was fired: good for the Browns. Mangini wanted him, Mangini gets to explain why he's gone.
Boom Jam Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 It's pretty sad that with all the turmoil surrounding Browns' organization, they still own the Bills.
Kipers Hair Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Are we really any better? In fact, I would argue they are better off as their owner has the courage to make a change when somehting is deemed unacceptable...
Pneumonic Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Serves them right for letting the HC pick the GM. After sucking because of such stupidity they now are faced with installing new management halfway into the season and will end up seeing that new GM fire the HC after the season in order that the GM may bring in the guy he wants to be the HC. If this sounds bass ackwards, it's because it is.
