Brady mentions that Nate’s hit was the worst he’s ever taken. Hey, it’s not much, but I’ll take it. I know there’s a few more but at least someone from the Bills did something noteworthy against Brady. Go Nate! Go Bills!

This is a guy that I hope Beane goes after. Right up the Bills alley too. Need a Guard who can compete for a starting job or replace Saffold in a year. Only 23 years old. Think he got caught up in the Eagles interior o-line numbers game after the draft. I would actually offer him a 3 year deal and let him compete. He can also play Center

(13) Tom Pelissero on Twitter: "Free-agent QB Nathan Peterman is signing a one-year contract with the #Bears, per source. Peterman — who opened the 2018 season as the #Bills’ starter ahead of Josh Allen — spent the last few seasons with the #Raiders. Now, he joins Justin Fields and Trevor Siemian in Chicago." / Twitter

https://billswire.usatoday.com/2022/02/17/report-bills-were-nfls-second-most-healthy-team-in-2021/ Bills were deemed second healthiest team last year according to the posted article. McDermott and Beane credited him for the healthiness of the roster. Should he be held accountable for the rash of injuries this year? Personally I think having a good training staff helps but avoiding injuries also includes a lot of luck. Luck that obviously isn’t with us to date this season.

This is excellent stuff generally, on such things as how quickly the whole NFL started going to Cover-2 to handicap Allen and Mahomes and those teams playing the offenses getting a lot of chunk plays. Skip the first ten minutes if you don't like the movie Casino and pro wrestling references. But the part that was interesting to me was this nugget on Feliciano. I've never understood the fact that he's not all that athletic, and he's strong but not super strong, and yet the Bills seem to play better when he's in there than they do with other guys who seem to play more athletically. Prohaska's guest is Nate Tice, "a former college QB, NFL coach and scout". (NOTE: THIS IS THREE WEEKS OLD. IT WAS RECORDED BEFORE THE SECOND PATS GAME!!!) Still really interesting on how the Pats defend us and why Feliciano has stuck around so long!! NT: "Personally, I think Belichick will go into, 'We're cranking up Cover 2, we're gonna push the pocket," and I actually do think he'll throw in some blitzes just to test that Bills offensive line. And you don't know how Feliciano - 'cause Feliciano helps out so much as far as calls. And I know that from personal experience with Jon, I was with him in Oakland. And I know he's a big tough bruiser guy, but he's actually very heady. And he helps out Morse with the protection stuff. And I just know that anecdotally. But you can see the difference when he's in and when he's not in and just pointing out stuff out. He might be limited as an athlete and everything. But he helps out mentally and calming you down." AP: "Which is a huge piece of the offensive line game, that mental side and protection-setting and front recognition in terms of who's coming. I mean, it happened against Carolina and it happened against Tampa, just using the two most recent examples. The Bills are getting beat on just simple stunts. Like the spiker was taking right guard and right tackle and then Shaq Barrett two weeks ago and Brian Burns this past weekend read it and were both like 'All right, cool, I'm just going to come free through this huge hole in this gap and get a sack." NT: "And trust me, Belichick sees that stuff." - Nate Tice starts at 32:25

After suffering through Schopp and Bulldog‘S post game show, I kept listening to WGR to hear the Overtime Show with Nate Geary and Joe DiBiase. The first thing that Nate did was criticize complaining Bills fans - mostly the ones on Twitter - though you see a lot of the same comments here. Specially he called out fans that are extremists and turn on the team on the drop of a hat. Fans are pumped about the Bills, but as soon as they blow a lead it’s “Same old Bills” or “It’s over.” Joe said he gets it because the Bills have Depressing a lot for the past 2 decades. But Nate’s point is that the majority of the Bills roster are 2nd or 3rd year players who are still learning to win. Said that the Bills have never drafted a QB 7th overall and that fans need to give him time and be realistic. Also said some of the “toxic” comments on Bills Twitter are unbelievable. It’s a great listen:

I keep hearing rumors about him going to Arkansas. Any truth, or will he stay in Buffalo?

A good read, looking back on how Daboll made adjustments, adding in air raid concepts that gives a lot to look forward to in 2019. An excerpt

I like Nate Burleson a lot and think he’s smart and well-spoken. I guess of Good Morning Football he spoke on the topic on black coaches getting fired. He then recorded the video/tweet below as a way to continue the conversation. I think Nate did a great job presenting this topic and more diversity in leadership positions would be a great thing. In the video he cites the Wilkes and Joseph firings as being premature. I think the problem is that both coaches were not good fits for the situations they were stepping in. It is certainly interesting that these coaches lose their jobs, but the GM’s who made the bad hiring are in the clear. Then again, coaches like Jay Gruden, Doug Marrone (and to a lesser extent Jason Garrett) were given more time, when you could definitely make a case for all of them to be fired. So I’m curious to know what your thoughts are. here’s the tweet from today:

Fired by Jax during the season, the guy keeps getting jobs. Maybe he will be better sans Marrone.

The Bills made some roster moves on the off day between OTA practices this week. Buffalo signed TE Nate Becker and DT L.T. Walton on Wednesday. Becker (6-5, 260) was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent this past April by the Detroit Lions, but was released by the club right after their rookie minicamp to make room for a new signing by Detroit. He played his college ball at Miami (OH) University where he served primarily as a blocking tight end. He made 19 receptions in his college career. Buffalo also added free agent DT L.T. Walton. A former sixth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2015, Walton (6-5, 305) has played the last four seasons for the Steelers largely as a rotational defensive end in Pittsburgh’s 3-4 scheme. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-add-te-nate-becker-dt-l-t-walton

Today is the day! The Peterman era has begun. Ladies and gentleman, I draw your attention to the only quarterback on the Bills roster and therefore, the de facto starter. The train is ready to leave the station, but there is still plenty of room on board! #DON'TSLEEPONNATE. Who's with me?

I’ve listened to Brandon Beane’s past media appearances. Whenever he talks up Nate Peterman, he always says “he’s Steady Eddie.” What the hell does “Steady Eddie” even mean? Is that like calling someone “Charlie Hustle?” I’ve never once hear anyone call someone a Steady Eddie, so I don’t know what that means.

nate is the worst QB in the nfl and all he throws is interception
-
Serious question...I've never seen a QB throw as many bad INTs as this guy has. The dude literally cannot complete a simple 15 yd out route.
