  1. I don't think Nate is top 100 in the world, but rather fits in well with the Bears. I would say he's probably the worst QB in the league with let's say at least 100 attempts. His QB Rating is so bad that it would actually increase from 39.38 to 39.58 if he had thrown incompletions on all 160 of his career attempts. The article below is from 2018, but I believe the rankings are still the same or close to it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2804566-is-nathan-peterman-the-worst-nfl-quarterback-ever.amp.html "Nathan Peterman is the worst quarterback in modern NFL history among those with as many pass attempts as he has. Of the 356 quarterbacks who have thrown at least 130 passes in the last 40 years, the 24-year-old Buffalo Bills sophomore ranks dead-last with a passer rating of 32.5. None of the other 355 passers has a rating below 39": 353. Matt Robinson, 44.1 354. Art Schlichter, 42.6 355. Spergon Wynn, 39.5 356. Nathan Peterman, 32.5 Now his Passer Rating has increased to 39.4, but that still puts him as the worst QB 45 years. His pick rate has also improved from 9.2 to 8.13, but that still puts him in 2nd to last place, just beating out Peter Tom Lewis who had a 8.2 pick rate. They're the only 2 QBs to have a pick rate higher than 6.9 in the last 45 years with at least 130 attempts.
  2. It always seemed to me Kay had a thing for O'Hara when he guested on GMFB Yes Nate is in another league - but there were so many better options than McCourty who guested during that period (IMO). Emmanuel Sanders has that same smooth vibe w/ player's perspective for one. I guess we also don't know who was offered and didn't accept (similar to alleged Bonnetta situation). Coleen Wolfe would have been my runaway #1 for host but who knows if she even wanted it
  3. They miss Nate Burleson as let's face it, he was smooth and also knowledgeable and truly gave a player's prospective of things.
  4. I think she's a nice person and all but I find her unbearable - trying so so hard to be so enthusiastic and so fun it's just exhausting. At first I gave her a pass figuring she was just trying to find her way and initially show enthusiasm - but it just kept amping up. Interesting that reports are that Bonnetta could have had the gig but she didn't want to move to NY. McCourty has never grown on me either - when someone like Sean O'Hara fills in for him the show is like a breath of fresh air to me. There were so many better guest panelists in that chair after Nate left they could have gone with. So many people dislike Brandt and Shrager but they are the only thing left of the good show it used to be.
  5. The Black Keys, The White Stripes, The Black Crows. All 3 very popular bands with followings. I Love the White Stripes but the other 2 I know very little besides their mainstream hits. But I plan to investigate. PS: I asked nate regarding the band BongWater. He chuckled and said no he didn't know then but what a great band name. He knows a LOT about music and has great recall of specifics. Much more than me.
  6. Go back and watch the first Miami game and tell me Kaiir did when put to that challenge. McD also liked what Nate Peterman showed in practice, so I’m sorry if I don’t fully trust judging a player by earning it in practice. The guys that have stepped in and showed potential on Sunday have usually taken a back seat to veterans when they returned from injury. And the CB rotation at the end of last season was total bull#### and proof MCD loves his vets.
  7. From Beane's end of the season presser: "Yeah, I think Von's in a good spot. I think he's doing well. I expect him ... I'm going to say the same thing. I expect him for a good portion of 2023; I'm not ruling out all of 2023, but I don't want to say that either. I think it's too early. I was asking Nate Breske (Bills trainer), he's seven weeks, it's crazy how time flies, but that was seven weeks ago when he had that surgery."
  8. Because my point is you don’t have investment in Buffalo privately it is mostly public from the state of New York. As for the minor league football comment we need programming in Key Bank Center if we are ever going to get that arena renovated in the future. I disagree the Buffalo Destroyers outdrew UB, Canisius and Niagara basketball combined most nights. Also if Buffalo was this great football town we would have arena football. Green Bay, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Jacksonville, Dallas, Bay Area have indoor football franchises with more NFL cities to come. If Buffalo can’t attract a franchise in the New Restarted Arena Football League starting next season that is adding 16 new franchises what the heck does it say about Buffalo? We have no professional sports but the Buffalo Bisons IL baseball in the summer months. Also forget the Buffalo college sports it just isn’t happening. Buffalo drew more with Buffalo Blizzard and Buffalo Destroyers than college basketball today that is a fact. Even the Bonnies don’t outdraw what Buffalo drew in the 1990’s in arena football or indoor soccer. I know I was there for all of it. Some one could start the Buffalo Destroyers, Buffalo Blizzard, Buffalo Stallions tomorrow they all would outdraw Western New York mid major college basketball look it up. I know I watched the doubleheader basketball games dying a slow death as the Buffalo Bandits and Buffalo Blizzard were beating the hell out of the Little Three then Big 4 basketball games on prime Saturday nights they couldn’t draw $5 for two basketball games and free parking at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium. When the Buffalo Blizzard, Buffalo Stampede and Buffalo Destroyers were in Buffalo. I was at UB Bulls East Coast Conference and Mid Con Conference games with 500 people for a game against Youngstown State I thought then as I still do that college sports is a heavy lift for Buffalo. Those UB Bulls basketball Nate Oats teams and Griffs basketball with John Beilein couldn’t put 15,000 like the Buffalo Bandits last night that is reality. Buffalo will like the Buffalo Destroyers again trust me playing other major league cities that Buffalo sports fans can relate too. Even the Buffalo Stampede drew a good 5,000 in Buffalo Memorial Auditorium in the summer time and over 14,000 for the RHI Murphy Cup championship game. That 14,000 is more fans than Syracuse against UB Bulls in the Big 4 basketball game at Marine Midland Arena and more than Canisius vs Kentucky at Marine Midland Arena. Those two disappointing crowds is what finished off the Big 4 doubleheader program restart at Marine Midland Arena. The Arena lost big time on paying Syracuse and Kentucky the money to come to Buffalo and for whatever reason Buffalo fans didn’t go like they had hoped. I was there it was pretty sad. The Buffalo Destroyers were sold to Columbus, Ohio when Mark Hamister who was a terrible owner when it came to running a professional sports franchise when he didn’t get the Buffalo Sabres he took his football and went home. The Buffalo Blizzard John Belanti unfortunately got sick so he folded the Buffalo Blizzard. Buffalo isn’t a college sports town anymore. I am saying yes I think the Buffalo Destroyers would outdraw all four Big 4 basketball programs combined attendance today like the Buffalo Bandits do today because Buffalo likes professional sports where players get traded and coaches get fired. Plus last point if a Western New Yorker didn’t go to one of those 4 Big 4 schools or if they did they are already rooting for someone there not going to root for someone else locally school wise if they went to school somewhere else. The Buffalo Destroyers are safe because you aren’t rooting against your school you went too. Sure there are some Buffalo fans like me that went to Canisius but grew up going to all four schools games but there aren’t enough of fans like that in Buffalo. The Buffalo Destroyers or a Buffalo professional soccer team would outdraw all of the Buffalo Big 4 basketball teams combined because we aren’t a college sports town anymore at least not for mid major college sports we aren’t. Trust me it hurts me to say that but it’s reality. And none of the schools are interested in Power 5 athletics and I don’t ever see that changing. Buffalo needs programming for the renovation of Key Bank Center to make the numbers work. The soccer team needs to be apart of Canalside development soccer specific stadium which I mentioned above. College sports are always going to struggle in Western New York on the mid major level. The Buffalo Destroyers are a safer bet plus it keeps football year around which is a good thing. The Buffalo Bills are going to become not affordable to a lot of Buffalo fans in 2026. UB Bulls football it’s the mid major college deal, mostly directional Ohio and Michigan schools. Not in the big league professional cities that Buffalo sports fans are use to like Phoenix, San Diego, Las Vegas, Jacksonville, Orlando, Dallas etc. Las Vegas has three professional football teams today right now in the NFL, IFL and XFL. I think Buffalo would do better than 6,000 last night at the Vegas Vipers XFL football game in Las Vegas. If Buffalo can’t do 6,000 in some minor league football we aren’t the football city everyone thinks and definitely proving my point Buffalo isn’t happening economically anymore like even the 1990’s it’s all propaganda by our Western New York politicians with Buffalo residents parroting the talking points they hear and read in the news locally but with no basis of reality in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  9. Say whatever you want believe whatever you want about Conservatives. This is the very liberal Nate Silver telling you liberalism has gone completely off the rails
  10. Pitt is stacking guards. They have Kevin Dotson, James Daniels, Mason Cole at center and just signed Nate Herbig. I’m guessing they cut somebody?
  11. But wasn’t Daboll? How many young guys get the same OC for 4 years to start their career? Ej manuel had Nate Hackett, who never coached in the nfl, as his qb coach and OC his rookie year for instance. A guy who was just the coach of the year. Allen also joined a team that went to the playoffs and consistently had a top 5 defense. this isn’t to discredit Allen (and I’m not referring to your post) who is a million times better than I could have ever hoped for. But this board loves to discredit PM (see the training camp thread of him throwing an int in his 1st training camp practice). He passed for 5,000 yards and 41 tds in his last year in college. He’s been a beast and got picked by a guy who saw that.
  12. Tua has never stayed healthy. Their OL is even worse. what if GB wants a Garrett Wilson or a Sauce Gardner or a Breece Hall in the trade package? The JETS lost ALL Leverage bending the knee to Aaron. And a Nate Hackett offense is scary since when?
  13. Probably too expensive: Tyler Huntely Jacoby Brissett Carson Wentz Marcus Mariota Andy Dalton Garder Minshue Realistic: Teddy Bridgewater Kyle Allen Mason Rudolph Joe Flacco Josh Johnson Cooper Rush Blane Gabbert Josh Dobbs Elite: Nate Peterman
  14. How did the Chargers not make the playoffs in 2010 with the #1 offense and #1 defense and with an All Pro Kicker (Nate Kaeding) then? https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2021/10/24/new-york-jets-robert-saleh-justin-hardee-special-teams-gunners/ “That is a check your manhood, it’s a mindset, it is an absolute dogfight when you’re a gunner and you have to beat a one-on-one or a double team,” Saleh said Friday. “It’s a war on the edges and those guys are responsible for field position, flipping fields. They can win a lot of games without it ever coming to attention. “Hardee is probably one of the best in football at that position. On top of it, his leadership skills, his deliberateness, his veteran presence, he’s everything that you would want out of a football player from a character standpoint. As a gunner, which is a very underrated position, and one of my favorites because it represents manhood, he’s pretty darn good at it.” You don't believe in context and just box score scout. Teams can save millions by just throwing some low level draft pick to be gunners and replace them every year with new rookies. Why don't teams do that? Why are teams continually throwing money at this position if it's completely meaningless?
  15. We’ve seen this scene before a pro bowl qb heads to the other conference with a great defense…skill talent…and Nate Hackett calling the plays. This will end badly for Aaron as the line he has in New York is way worse then the line he’s leaving in Green Bay
  16. I would've went Nate Davis he signed 3 years 30m we got McGovern at 3 years 23m plus I think we could've got Nate at 3yrs 28m to play with a contender
  17. Goodbye Tremaine, you were good just not great Poles is obv a Bills fan trying to take Bates last year and getting Tremaine this year. Hope they keeping adding OL for Fields beyond Nate Davis
  18. What's more telling is that they had an interest in him pre-draft, needed OL, and when they had their chance they passed on Risner to draft Cody Ford. Both the Bills and Rams (Kromer) were interested in Risner so that may be something. Both were into Nate Davis as well.
  19. I’d be pretty surprised if David Edwards from the Rams is not a Bill with his familiarity with Kromer. Nate Davis is another player who may be had for less due to injuries but has been improving when he has played. Kromer and Davis’ ex OL Coach (Keith Carter) both have that McVay background. Another guy Sportrac is projecting at 10 mil a year but I would be surprised if he got that much is Evan Brown of the Lions who held down the Center position in 2021, and the RG position in 2022 (both times due to injuries to the starter). He did well in the gap scheme Detroit runs which Kromer does well with. Also was ranked top 10 in pass blacking by PFF last year. Good year to sign a FA guard and draft interior OL.
  20. Rumors are that Nate Oats' Alabama assistant, and former Oats assistant at UB, Bryan Hodgson is being brought in to replace Whitesell.
  21. Wow that didn’t take long. UB Bulls should hire the guy they should have hired to replace Nate Oats in the first place Bryan Hodgson age 36 currently assistant coach at Alabama who is a Buffalo area guy. So if he succeeds he might stay awhile like the St Bonaventure Bonnies head coach Mark Schmidt. Bryan Hodgson was the lead recruiter for Nate Oats at UB. He should have job over the older mediocre 62 year old Jim Whitesell. Bryan Hodgson has been back to Buffalo to do a lot of charity work and was the coach of the UB Bulls basketball alumni team that won the TBT championship last summer. Now Reggie Witherspoon the Griffs basketball head coach has to go back to back 20 loss seasons I don’t care if the Griffs are playing in a parking lot for a home court it’s hard to go back to back 20 loss season with 30 games scheduled what a incompetent bum. My mother turned 80 years old this year would have a better Griffs head coach basketball record than that. I could put Petey the Griffs mascot on the coaches chair that wouldn’t lose 20 out of 30 back to back completely a failure. Why is this even something to think Canisius College? As a Canisius alum the Griffs basketball decline since I was there in the late 1980’s as a former Griffs team manager hurts more than anyone can imagine. When you are part of a Division I team even as a team manager your a Griff for life so it hurts. It hurts more than any medical challenge I have faced with my muscular dystrophy for 55 years on this earth and I have faced many. It’s bad enough the Griffs basketball don’t play downtown anymore at Key Bank Center and the Griffs basketball program has been downgraded since I was there. The Griffs basketball when I was there this is before the Buffalo Bandits even existed and before UB Bulls went Division I. This Griffs basketball program had former Buffalo Bills GM Bill Polian going to Griffs games at the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium so it was more relevant big time compared to today at the KAC a glorified high school gym. Reggie Witherspoon has turned the Griffs basketball program into a joke. It’s embarrassing and it shouldn’t be happening. The Griffs need to fire this bum in my opinion. Go Bulls! Go Griffs! Let’s Go Buffalo
