  1. If they drafted him other than for special team based on his size and skillset, then the house needed to clean last year. Its ***** bull#### they are this bad at talent evaluation. Nate Peterman over AJ McCarron for Josh’s rookie year. Give me a ***** break.
  2. Agreed. McDermott would need a down year. Dungy got fired from TB after going 9-7 and being embarrassed by Philly in the WC round. It would have to be something similar to that (or worse) barring an injury to Allen for Pegula to even consider it. Yes and no. You'd have a lot of tools at your disposal for immediate success. However, if you fail you could be a one and done. See Steve Wilks and Nate Hackett.
  3. coach salad is going to be fired after this year and nate is going to be promoted bc aaron is going to be fed up with his croutons by week 12 when they are desperately reaching for a playoff game.
  4. It takes MUCH more assuming to place the Jets above us. I don't have to assume anything to say the Bills are still the best team in the division - that's what we've been for 3 seasons now, and that's how it remains until a divisional rival actually dethrones us. Us being #1 is the assumed baseline until proven otherwise. To place the Jets above us, you have to assume a 40 year old QB coming off the worst season of his career, after an offseason where he openly admitted he already had one foot out the door, behind a suspect offensive line, is going to work out. You have to assume Nate Hackett is suddenly going to be able to call a competent offense with an over the hill QB. You have to assume Breece Hall will be the same player. Etc. Etc. I'm not confident the Bills are the best team in the conference, but until proven otherwise I am very comfortable saying they're the best team in the division.
  5. If he does, does Nate ever get another OC job in the NFL. I still wished Marrone had made him a QB coach and we signed an experienced OC. Week 4 Kids Game, Lions vs Bills is usually the case.
  6. He also is on Milano’s level with pass coverage. Nate Davis is a OG from Tenn, a Kromer guy. Makes perfect sense. Give me Mecole Hardman as well.
  7. I agree completely. I want to keep Tremaine, but would it be better to have him, or sign both Okereke and Nate Davis for the same price.
  8. After 6 Superbowls, you wonder what is left to play for. This will be fascinating to watch. I get that BB and Kraft want NE to have the most hardware in league history and that one more puts them over the Steelers. As for Brady, he obviously wants to win outside of the Pats umbrella to prove that he wasn't just a cog in a wheel. Still you wonder if he can go into a strange locker room and bring success. I've never thought of Brady as special athletically but I do think he has the qualities of a great leader. What coach will have the nerve to coach him? The tell for me is that no one who has left the Patriots (coach or player) has really succeeded. Maybe Vrabel as coach but the jury is still out. Still, comparing the departures of Vince Woolfork, Richard Seymour, Nate Solder and Chandler Jones to Tom Brady is apples and oranges. I have always felt that the Patriots success was more about BB than TB. I will enjoy watching it unfold.
  9. Nate Stanley...whoa. Was he even a good college QB?
  10. 54: R2P22 RB JONATHAN TAYLOR WISCONSIN 86: R3P22 EDGE JONATHAN GREENARD FLORIDA 128: R4P22 C TYLER BIADASZ WISCONSIN 167: R5P21 QB NATE STANLEY IOWA 188: R6P9 OT TREY ADAMS WASHINGTON 207: R6P28 WR OMAR BAYLESS ARKANSAS STATE 239: R7P25 P MICHAEL TURK ARIZONA STATE
  11. Nate Clements > Terrence McGee > Lil Antoine
  12. Quit couple years after SB run. Watched some other teams casual Stopped watching football for a couple years actually. Started paying attention again when Marrone and his Little Buddy Nate gave it a shot. Watched some Gailey time, but that made me sad. Glad i stuck to it this time. Last few seasons have all year round interesting and major fun.! Go Bills
  13. PSA*** Mockdraftable comparables are up for WRs Some interesting ones... Jerry Jeudy to Adam Thielen Brandon Aiyuk to Nate Burleson Justin Jefferson to DeVante Parker Not sure I agree with that...I think that the majority of great running games in today’s league have at least one blazer. Ooh...Devin Duvernay draws a very strong comparison to Golden Tate and semi-strong to Lee Evans.
  14. Sammy actually had his best seasons with the Bills, and Nate his only real playing time
  15. A) You have to be extremely careful with Pats OL. Nate Solder was the best LT in football! B) Thuney is more of a finesse guard, and what this line needs is a mauler. Hope this doesn't come to fruition.
  16. Nate Peterman, Kelvin Benjamin, Sammy Watkins and others questioning everything right now....
  17. I’m assuming Gunner is referring to how Deshaun Watson threw at less velocity than Nate Peterman and yet one is Deshaun Watson and the other is, well, Nate Peterman.
  18. Asked this over at PPP too but there seem to be more Covid-knowledgeable people (though less discussion) here: Has anyplace that got hit with an initial hard first wave seen a true second wave yet? I ask this not to make an argument but just to see the numbers: (1) Nate Silver has lightly posited (not with certainty) that the case rises happening in the US are mostly being driven in areas that never really had a first wave. Yes, they are reopening, but when you look at a place like AZ, it never got hit initially so this is its first big exposure. (2) In the EU countries that have reopened a few weeks ahead of us, have they seen a spike up? Answer seems to be no. It's something to watch, along with the anecdotal reports from Italy and the UPMC medical system that healthcare professionals are seeing far fewer critical patients after that initial crush of patients.
  19. The attached link is TSN Darren Dreger's 11 minute interview with Jack Eichel on his show the "Darren Café". There wasn't much new revealed in his comments. A couple of interesting tidbits were that he works extensively in the offseason with Adam Oates and that Nate MacKinnon is one player who is a friend and likes to follow. Jack Eichel has become very relaxed and polished doing interviews. He has shown a lot of growth in his off the ice activities and responsibilities. He's a terrific representative of the organization. https://www.tsn.ca/dreger-cafe-jack-eichel-on-losing-it-s-been-a-tough-five-years-1.1484837?view=getnewpost
  20. To point 1: yes I would. The tolerance for insolence for a 1st round pick is much higher. To be drafted in the 1st means that the team believes that the talent of the player can make a huge difference. Like it or not players are not treated equally based on draft status. But no-one mourns for a 6th round LB being cut except perhaps this board. If it was up to this board Christian Wade and the CFL receiver would be in the starting lineup. Players are cut and forgotten and many never get a second chance. Others like Nate Peterman get a million chances to fail. To your second point: I'm white and I'm not personally offended by what Fromm said so he doesn't owe me an apology. But some black players are offended including our all world cornerback. A player like Tre White is worth 100 Jake Fromms. People saying Tre is being a diva obviously care more about other things than the team winning games. They are willing to risk alienating the best player on the team for a potential backup quarterback. Even if you disagree with him, we don't win games outright without Tre White. We don't go to the playoffs without him.
  21. Nate Boyer told Kap to take a knee to bring awareness to an issue that affects the African American community more than any other community. It’s been regurgitated over and over that kneeling during the national anthem is not to disrespect the military but to bring awareness to a situation where unarmed black men and women are being killed by police and it gets swept under the rug. It’s the same demographic that has the issue and it has nothing to do with the military or the flag that’s just an easy cover up for their true intentions. It’s shut up ***** and play football .......that’s what they really want to say.......they’re disrespecting the flag, military, etc. is just a bs cover up for what they really wanna say.
  22. An NFL arm, unlike Nate's, might not get picked. Lucky for the Bears.
