  2. No worries. Im sure Nate Hackett has this.😱
  3. The running backs are a fine blend actually. Best we have had in years lol at the bolded. Sorry Nate
  4. I remember when Nate Clements ended Tom Brady’s career….. oh wait
  5. People of color trending Republican Michael Barone Are non-white voters really moving away from the Democratic Party? To partisan Democrats confronting this question on Twitter (sorry, X), it seems preposterous that the party of Donald Trump, whom they routinely call a racist, could be gaining support from blacks, Hispanics, and Asians. But the evidence for eroding non-white support for Democrats is strong. The New York Times’s analyst Nate Cohn, who back in June 2016 was the first to identify Donald Trump’s appeal to previously Democratic-voting white non-college graduates, noted earlier this month that Joe Biden was carrying just 53% of non-whites in 2022-23 New York Times/Siena College polls — far under the 70%-plus he was winning among these voters in November 2020. The drop is pronounced among both blacks and Hispanics, men and women, college graduates and non-college graduates. It’s concentrated among non-whites under age 45, suggesting a long-range problem for Democrats. That’s in line with the thesis of Republican consultant Patrick Ruffini in his forthcoming book Party of the People, which depicts an emerging “multiracial populist” Republican Party. To the many liberals shrieking that such a trend is impossible, Cohn responded by pointing out that Biden is polling below other Democrats, and below his own 2020 numbers, at this point in the electoral cycle. Evidently, as the Washington Post’s libertarian-leaning columnist Megan McArdle writes, “many folks just can’t emotionally grab the possibility of a Democratic party that isn’t mostly a coalition of working class/organized labor/nonwhite voters, with affluent liberals a small, if influential sideshow.” Similarly, my Washington Examiner colleague Timothy Carney describes the resistance of “economic liberals” to recognize corporate executives’ self-acknowledged trend toward Democrats. The picture of rich businessmen on one side of the partisan divide and blistered-handed working men on the other may be familiar to writers born in the 1970s, like McArdle and Carney, and it certainly was to one growing up, as I did, in Big Three- and UAW-dominated Michigan in the 1950s. It warms many a liberal heart to see oneself as the unselfish backer of the toiling masses. But this economic partisan divide was just one of several phases https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/people-of-color-trending-republican
  6. Nate Clements by all rights should ended the career of, if not have killed Tom Brady with the vicious hit he put on him, but Brady popped right back up no worse for the wear. Must have been that TB12 diet. If that happened today Clements would have been ejected, fined and likely suspended for 4-6 games.
  7. Josh dropped a dud on MNF....no question. He's a gunslinging turn over machine, but I actually like that. Not that I prefer it, but it's a better alternative to JP Losman, EJ Manuel, Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Matt Corrall, Trent Edwards, Todd Collins, Rob Johnson, Nate Peterman, Kyle Orton and Alex Van Pelt. Better than playing scared and checking down on every single play. Someone was busting my bag today over JA's turnovers and I just said, "Talk to me when they are not winning their division and not dropping 13 wins a season." They had nothing to comeback at me with after that. There's my anecdote for the day.
  8. I was just thinking we should reach out to the Bears and offer them a pair of first round picks and see if they are willing to part with Big Nate!
  9. I dunno about the "image of the organization". Shady McCoy spelled it out with regard to Kaepernick years ago: the amount of distraction or nuisance a team will tolerate from a player is proportional to their talent and value to the team. If the player is uber-talented like Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady or Shady McCoy himself, the tolerance is higher. If he's mediocre or questionable, the tolerance is low. Every team needs a punter, but there are 32 spots on a roster and probably more than 32 talented players; yes, Araiza had a king leg but his FG holding was a work in progress. The So any distraction, "time to move on". As far as I know, Nate Peterman had a distraction factor of Zero, and he's still in the league for the same reason he stayed with the Bills as long as he did - his knowledge of the game and his ability to diagnose defense and understand offense - OFF the field. People forget that he genuinely did look like the best QB on the roster in the summer of 2018, over AJ Mcwhatsis
  10. I don't know. That first interception traveled about 50 yards downfield while Josh was scrambling. Don't think Nate the Great could throw it half that distance from the pocket. Josh had 3 Int's for the game, Nate the great threw 5 in a HALF. Josh was bad but not nearly "Nate the Great" kind of bad.
  11. Come on, Biscuit. Player and coach/management are very different skill-sets. There's a reason that Rob Gronkowski isn't the GM of the Patriots. And that grads of prestige academic institutions are overrepresented in GM and other analytical sports management positions, and underrepresented on the actual field of play. I agree that nepotism is bad and guys like Nate Hackett and Lane Kiffin have clearly benefited. And there are likely still systemic roadblocks in the way of minority applicants moving up the NFL management chain. But the NFL has made diversity in hiring a priority, and that 25% number is evidence of it.
  12. The good news for Bills fans is our coaches have a solid ten weeks to figure out this dynamic Zach Wilson/ Nate Hackett offense... perhaps by then they can crack the code 🤓
  13. So you don't remember Nate Peterman throwing 5 interceptions in one half? We have one of the best quarterbacks in the world... It can get a lot worse Yeah we would have got blown out without Josh Allen.. you don't know how many pick 6 and fumbles could have happened
  14. It was reminiscent of when Nate Hackett was calling plays with CJ Spiller.
  15. Poor Nate Hackett. I don't believe he has the slightest idea what to do without Rodgers.
  16. How does McDermott see any reason Bernard should be on the field??? I'm a hater of that pick. Someone explain it to me??? He is Nate Peterman bad at MLB. I swear McD is clueless. Thank you Milano for your greatness
  17. He did make the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor as a QB and also putting in Nate Peterman though. I don't think too many HC would do that. How many of the 32 coaches do you think make the playoffs with those two QBs?
  18. The last two drives he missed passes that would have moved the chains. He is taking points off the board and giving Mahomes more TOP. Nate Peterman bad, no, but still an awful performance IMO.
  19. Nate's First Two of The Year: Chiefs -4.5 2units Chiefs -4.5 + Montgomery Anytime TD 1unit Side note: Since this thread is Off The Wall, im trying the "follow thread" in top right corner.... if anybody else is forgetful like me you should try it too. I wanna keep this thread rolling this year!!
