  1. Well when you are almost being forced into designing 8+ plays per game for one person , sometimes 10+... It literally takes efficiency away from the offense Think of it like an engine that needs to be well oiled to stay functionable... Forcing it to one person over and over again when other professionals are getting paid to stop him is like clogging your engine with sludge Josh being able to spread it out over 8 9 guys every game and not worry about forcing it to one guy is like a beautiful engine with fully synthetic oil No friction there baby
  2. I was a clip of media, whose context is valid but conveniently left out by some. Allen said he wasn’t talking about Diggs. I think he’s talking about Diggs. You said you don’t think that’s the case. So I ask again, why do you care…
  3. I thought Brady was fantastic vs. Jags. He was good vs. Phins and Cards. Let's not forget we have Josh Allen. He's the one who allows Brady to go from pounding the rock to spreading the field. Beane and McD also deserve credit for elevating expectations. Beane signed some quality vets in Hollins, Samuel, Edwards. He drafted a bunch of guys who have already shown they belong, some of which (Coleman, Davis) are already mainstays. Recent picks (Benford, Shakir, Brown, Rousseau) are playing great. McD deserves credit for coaching up the defense to stuff a pretty good running team in Jags minus both our starting LBs and our starting NB who functions as our third LBer. Lots of credit to go around.
  4. it was a little clip the media loved because it generated some controversy allen said he wasnt talking about diggs i didnt think he was talking about diggs you said he was 'passively aggressively undressing him' lol so i ask again why do you care
  5. Pat MacAfee addressed pretty early the next day. Darius Butler agreed. Like him or hate him PM is pretty talented at what he does. EDIT: Point is, you don’t have to be a talentless slug to think that the entire vocabulary around this offense is purposefully anti-Diggs I also do not believe that this is not at least somewhat directed at Diggs. Very recently Stef openly talked about how he is chasing stats 4500 yards so he can get into the HoF conversation. And went as far as to say he forced his way out his last two teams. Ignoring that context would be willfully naive. It’s nice of Josh to say he wasn’t directing that comment at Diggs, and maybe he didn’t mean to publicly undress Diggs so passive aggressively like that. But the entire ethos of the offense “everybody eats” and we’re not chasing stats is 100% rooted in turning the page from Stef.
  6. 9. Any of these receivers have to be thrilled to be playing alongside the best QB in the league. In my opinion, if certain guys are not getting the ball it’s because they aren’t getting open. It ain’t on Josh. Get open fellas. Shakir seems to have no problem being an available open target for Allen on nearly every series of downs.
  7. The worst was the show “Get Up” on Tuesday morning. They were all shouting over each other how Josh threw Diggs under the bus. It was absurdity. And i’m thinking I guarantee in that moment, Diggs was the furthest thing from Josh’s mind. He was simply answering a question and complemented his guys.
  8. Allen was voted #1 trash talker by his peers. If it was socially acceptable to roast opponents, former teammates, and media personalities he absolutely would.
  9. The odd thing about 2022 is something didn’t feel right even heading into the Bengals regular season game. The Bills were winning but it didn’t necessarily seem clean and clinical. And prior to Hamlin’s collapse, the Bengals were having their way with the defense - it had the feeling of a blowout. It’s the sane as last year. The Bills dominated weeks two to four, but there were concerns despite the easy victories. It felt like, after an awful week one, Josh had carried them through games. Did the offense look fluid and dynamic? No, not really. And it got too much for Josh to sustain under Dorsey. As much as it’s still early, something feels different this year. Less pressure on Josh, physically and mentally, and a varied offense being at the centre of it all. The next three weeks will be key, but heading into them it doesn’t feel like “The Emperor’s New Clothes” as last year did.
  10. The media loves to twist Josh’s words around to make something out of nothing. Josh is a very diplomatic and intelligent guy. He doesn’t say things without thinking and he is normally very well prepared for whatever questions he is asked. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41441753/bills-qb-josh-allen-clarifies-perceived-dig-former-teammates IMO he has done an excellent job of not outright saying “F*** Diggs” he is taking the high road as he usually does. Now by him being fully behind his guys now and the “everybody eats” mantra this offense has taken another step. The articles should be about the new weapons, Cook taking a LEAP how Shakir looks like a star in the making, Coleman is adjusting to game faster than anticipated, or how we are leading the forefront of the new offensive revolution(the only team to avg. 30+ ppg in 2024!!) But no it’s all about Stefon 45 YPG Diggs… how could we possibly be winning without a true #1!? How are they winning without a primadonna me first self proclaimed cancer?! JOSH ALLEN MUST MISS HIM!!! No Stefon is going to miss the parade this year. We aren’t worried about stats or individual numbers. Just wins. 13-4, AFC EAST CHAMPS. AFC CHAMPS. SUPERBOWL CHAMPS INCOMING
  11. There were literally no negatives in the blowout win. Josh was great, the offensive line was great, Cook and the RB's were great, Kincaid was great, the WR's were great, all defensive units were fantastic, and even the Special Teams unit was good (only negative was a block on the first Bass Extra point but Bass made all his other kicks, Martin nailed his punt for a 49 yard net, and the coverage units were solid). The Bills are just rolling right now. The only things that concern me as a fan are the quality of competition has been not the best especially the fact that the Bills have not faced a good defense, my other concern is special teams. The special teams unit has been shaky. Week 1 they let up the TD and Week 2 Bass missed a kick that was fairly short that's in addition to the ST unit and Bass coming off a generally shaky season in 2023. Hopefully Bass making most of these chip shots helps his confidence.
  12. Baltimore -2.5 after Buffalo just shredded a team on national TV. Buffalo goin from hunter to the hunted. Lamar vs Josh. This is going to be a good one.
  13. I have been saying Allen has been throwing very fluidly. But then it can't be a solid Maybe I need to be less of an engineer and more of a fan.
  14. Exactly you have to. Makes no sense to pay a RB these days. Not when you have Josh Allen
  15. Gotta have them later in the year. They will be pounding the run with Henry and Lamar trying to keep the ball out of Allens hands.
  16. Yeah, it was definitely a jab. And this is Allen backtracking a bit. Which is totally fine and understandable. But yeah, it was a jab. And i’m on team Allen.
  17. It's his nose... wait, actually it's his greasy hair... no... no, I think it's probably his voice... hold on, I remember what it was... it was his constant sh!tting on Allen early in Allen's career until it finally became painfully obvious he was wrong and he had to change his tune or risk being known as nothing more than a deliberately obtuse contrarian ass on the subject.
  18. Listening to Schopp this afternoon he came across as defensive. Sounded grumpy and ornery from what I was hearing. I’m glad Allen cleared it up. Not everything is about Diggs.
  19. I agree, Allen is awesome and always saying the right things. I’ll just take slight issue with “being respectful of each other”. The “you sure” tweet by Diggs was far from respectful, but Allen took the high road then and continues to do so.
  20. None of us are in the room, but I think Allen and Diggs really do have a brotherly relationship. And I think they both understand how much each of them were good for each other's careers. It's just obvious they had to move on to the next chapter. I could be wrong, but I'd bet Allen understands the hyper-competitive nature of Diggs and realizes in large part that's what made him such a great WR for the NFL and for the Bills. Remember... those 2 guys spent a lot of time together for 4 years. The Bengals blowup notwithstanding, I don't think their relationship was as volatile as it was made out to be in the media.
  21. Idk as wholesome as Allen is that was definitely a jab
  22. If people are not convinced by now that Diggs had became a problem, then nothing will I guess. The performance to date of this offense speaks volumes. Brady is killing it, and it is very obvious this team is together and playing for each other. Finally, Josh Allen has developed into the undisputed leader. Yes, it is very early, but they are making a statement about the post Diggs era of the Bills.
  23. Kudos to Allen, I never felt like he was "talking" about Diggs when he made his post game comments Monday despite the media uproar to try and make it that since. If anyone knows Allen he isn't one to try and throw people under the table, take subtle jabs, etc. So sick of the media always trying to make nothing into something, like let these two dudes be. Both are happy with the result, both are doing their own things and being respectful of each other. The way the media just tries so hard to make a "story" just gets old. Diggs was even on social media after Hamlins interception, like quit trying to force drama.
