  1. We all assumed it would be one of the first moves Beane would do, since it opened up so much Cap, but it’s looking rather unlikely now that we restructure Josh’s contract to open up 23-ish million. If the reports are true, Beane has is close to being under the cap. This is a pretty big deal, is it not? Unless I’m mistaken, paying Josh his big guarantees and not kicking the can down the road will, no pun intended, pay off huge dividends in years to come. I believe the team is already in positive cap space for next season, and they don’t have many big ticket expiring contracts (yet). If Beane keeps up this level of wizardry, Hogwarts will come knocking.

  3. This has been on my mind a lot since my grandson forced me to watch the "Pro Bowl" competitions. My wife was there and said "Payton Manning is my favorite QB of all time, next to Jim Kelly" and I can dig that, I LOVED watching Manning play. But it got me to realize how much I miss watching him play. Along with guys like Kelly, Elway, Marino, Moon, Young, Montana, etc. Many of us have been a Bills fan for a long time and we desperately want a Superbowl win, but are we cheating ourselves when it comes to Josh? I say this because I sat back and thought about how much I missed watching those guys play and it hit me, Josh just finished year 6, how many more do we have him? 6-8 More years is my guess so he might be halfway through his career already, and all we can do is talk Superbowl. Maybe we are missing it? We have THE best QB (A pure generational QB) in the NFL and I think we want a Super bowl for us and him, so bad that we aren't just sitting back and enjoying watching him play, enjoying what we have. I plan on trying to just sit back each game and enjoy with my grandson watching Josh just sling the damn ball around the field, and hopefully, we get a title in the process.
  4. According to PFF, Josh was the highest graded QB for the 2023 NFL Season: "Josh Allen stands atop the position: The Bills signal caller beat out 2023 league MVP Lamar Jackson as the highest-graded quarterback in the NFL." "1. JOSH ALLEN, BUFFALO BILLS: 92.1 While Allen may have missed out on the league MVP, he captured the top spot on this list after orchestrating the highest-graded season of his career. The signal-caller showed elite dual-threat ability, finishing as the only quarterback to surpass an 88.0-plus grade as both a passer (88.5) and runner (91.4)." https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-highest-graded-quarterbacks-2023-nfl-season?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=february_21_2024 We are very fortunate to have Josh as our QB. He is perfect for Buffalo.
  5. For some reason, some still believe that Josh is getting snubbed again for the Pro Bowl, but that's not the case. "For some who buy in to the “Minshew Magic” the quarterback brings, they were excited to see the quarterback get this accolade after he stepped up this season when starter Anthony Richardson got hurt. For other fans, they questioned why Minshew deserves the honor over other accomplished quarterbacks in the AFC, like Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills. It’s worth noting that NFL players can turn down a Pro Bowl bid due to a prior engagement or because of injury. In Allen’s case, it appears that he has a tee time at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am already booked for Pro Bowl weekend, which could explain his absence in Orlando." https://www.si.com/nfl/2024/01/30/gardner-minshew-colts-surprise-selection-pro-bowl-alternate-reactions
  6. Synopsis : “Josh Allen is one of the most talented, prolific, and high-profile players at the quarterback position, let alone in the NFL, yet for years the Super Bowl aspirations of the Buffalo Bills are dashed upon the rocks of Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. The window is closing…”
  7. I saw this video and thought I would share this. He makes some great points:
  8. Im a newer football fan, but came across this Josh Allen draft reaction. Was everyone really upset when he was drafted?

  10. Sometimes I forget how fortunate we are. It’s easy, over time, to become comfortable with something/someone being in your life or on your team. But my goodness, name another QB who could deal with the constant onslaught he saw today. Nonstop blitzes, most of which were never picked up by our own line. Constantly avoiding defenders and avoiding sacks. The list of QB’s not named Allen who could have done what he did today is very very short. And i’ve never ever seen his flip out like a gigantic crybaby like Mahomes did after the game.
  11. His performance last night was breathtaking and incredible! No one else can play like he can. He is the best despite us losing. He leaves it all out on the field and makes incredible passes and runs that no one else can make. Just heartbreaking how many games we have lost that should have been wins. Just had to say this and to vent a little after last nights heartbreaking lost. GO JOSH and GO BILLS!!! 👍
  12. Joe Brady pretty much over night has made a refreshing impact to franchise in a lost season. To such an extent would be willing to say give him an interim ahead coaching start. It was Sean's team and he doesn't have it anymore and lost the locker room. Joe Brady has out right inherited it and made it his own. Maybe, we could make Sean he assistant defensive backs Coach to the scout team defense.
  13. After watching today's Rich Eisen show, he absolutely loves him some Josh! " This generations Favre". Totally gushing over our boy and paints a clear picture about Josh and his elite status.
  14. This was an amazing 10 minute video, not just showing some cool highlights, but extensively detailing what made them so great. From the defensive looks, to the OL protection, to explaining why certain broken plays should've been dead to rights, I really enjoyed rewatching these plays.
  15. The Bills faced a combination of Josh being a bit too fast on reads in some cases, in others he was not presented with good options. Thought this was an excellent explanation and balanced by Warner. The Bills were beating themselves. Then they adjusted.
  16. The Josh Allen we are seeing right now, is not who we saw the first 5 years off his career. Even when he had bad stretches under Daboll, he still would come out fired up the next series. He was still ready to risk it all. His fire is GONE. When he scores now, he just jogs off the field. Example: After we took the lead with 2 minutes to go last night, he started to just jog off the field (zero celebration). Spencer Brown tried to get him excited and lifted him into the air. Three years ago he’d be screaming his head off and amping everyone up. Now his facial express to being hoisted after a go-ahead TD is the face of someone who looks like they’re battling depression. And no, this is not a deceptive screenshot - this is how he looked the entire post TD celebration. The fire is gone and, Simon, I apologize for the salty language, but that friggin terrifies me!!! Where has this gone? And this? And this? And this? I genuinely believe that McDermott’s “never too high, never too low” mentality has absolutely zombified what made Allen special. I think it’s no coincidence that McD and Daboll didn’t get along, and Josh is becoming more and more like this as the months pass without Daboll as his coach.
  17. In the post game press conference, Josh said that 'The clock's ticking' and I was reminded of last year when the Commanders were eliminated from the playoffs much to the surprise of Ron Rivera. He's a golden retriever, not a goldfish. What is going on in his brain?
  18. Even the Jets are ahead of us in the hunt. I said this game was practically a must win. I also said if the Bills lost this game a WC is unlikely and the Bills would need to win the division to make the playoffs. There is zero room for error now and we are going to need help. We lose the head to head against a wild card competitor. We have too many conference losses against other teams in the hunt. Buffalo is likely going to have to win out or lose maybe one and get some help. Yes I know 4 of those teams are from the same division and they will somewhat beat each other up, but we still have no room for error.
  19. Is it just me or does Josh look a lot slower running the ball. Back in his rookie or second year some of his runs were clocked in the 20 mph range and he was making d-backs and LBs look silly running by them. Seems like now when he finally does run he has trouble beating defensive line. Anyone else notice this?
  20. Says it was one of the weakest taunting calls he's ever seen. Linked to clip: 1:33:34 mark.
  21. I’m gonna preface this post by acknowledging that this will be widely unpopular. People will say I am having a knee jerk reaction to the last few weeks. But, with the shortcomings of the offense, not just this season but last as well, I gotta think the blame does solely lie with just McD and Dorsey. Allen has clearly been an issue too. Missing open opportunities because he either looks and throws right away or simply only looks for Diggs. Allen has also committed a ludicrous amount of turnovers. Situationally, he’s been pretty poor this year when it comes to decision making. On the other end of things, he’s getting older. He will be 28 next season and is only continuing to take more lumps. He will only get slower, more injury prone and probably not progress mentally. He’s shown as a pure pocket passer he is simply above average. Look at Cam around the 8 year mark. Really started to take a dive. Josh will be going into his 7th season next year. If this team continues on this current trajectory, i think it’s fair to assume there will be fairly significant changes not only personnel- wise, but coaching-wise as well with a very new OC at the least. With josh seemingly reaching the end of his prime, is that really a time we want to be reloading/re-building? My thought is, while Josh still has value, is trade him. I’d love if we could to the bears for their 2 firsts next year, one in 2025 and a second in 2024. We use those picks to draft a QB as well as Marvin Harrison jr. We could rebuild with a QB on a rookie contract, get the best WR in college to go with Diggs and Dalton Kinkaid, and on top of that we’d be able to use the other picks to build up our o line. We focus on offense next year and shift to defense the following. Now all of this would be contingent on new GM, new staff. im saddened to propose this because I love josh. Seems like a great dude and great for Buffalo. But at a certain point, we gotta start thinking that maybe Josh isn’t the one to win us a SB. Chuck your spears as appropriate.
  22. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been fined $10,927 for taunting during his team’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. Allen pointed at a Bengals player as he was punching in a rushing touchdown to tie the score in the first quarter. He was hit with a 15-yard penalty for the incident. The signal-caller went 26-for-38 with 258 yards, a touchdown and an interception through the air while carrying the ball eight times for 44 yards. Cincinnati ultimately won the game by a score of 24-18. Allen’s fine is peculiar, considering other players received lesser penalties for unnecessary roughness fouls. The fact that he was fined more for pointing at someone than other players were for plays that could have caused injury is certainly strange, to say the least. Then again, the NFL has been widely criticized for quite some time now for the way it hands out penalties and fines, so the weird variance shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/bills-josh-allen-fined-for-taunting-during-bengals-loss/ar-AA1jMnwe?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=72356b63b82c4d3a8525dd5d101d9ca6&ei=47 Such a joke
  23. Sorry if this has already been posted. It's a bit of a slow buildup but I really enjoyed watching it. GO BILLS!
