  1. Struggle: I Think Josh will struggle with adjusting to the new receivers on the team (Coleman and Samuel) mainly his prime receivers??? Shine: I think Allen will shine in his ability to extend plays with his arm getting receivers in better positions downfield and using his legs if necessary
  2. Josh Allen scored 15 rushing TD's last year......15!!!! That would be an amazing total for a RB, and an almost unbelievable total for a QB. Of course, "amazing" and "unbelievable" is just another day at the office for JA. I am sure the coaching staff is hoping the addition of Ray Davis will take the load off of Josh in goal-line situations, thus lowering that high bar of 15 TD's in the coming season. My prediction: If anyone can replicate a 15 rushing TD season by a QB, it would be Josh, but in the end I think Davis will take away some of those goal line TD's. Josh will still have some of his highlight reel rushing TD's this season, but his overall total will be lower this year...maybe in the 8 to 10 TD range. I'm taking the under on this one, but would not be surprised in the least if he hits the over. What say you??
  3. Discuss. Personally, I think he should preserve his body a bit and Share the Love
  4. Allen is now, I believe, the 11th highest paid QB in the NFL and behind the likes of Kirk Cousins, Lawrence and Jalen Hurts. He is $12 million below market. Great job by Beane stepping up when he did. That $12 million nets us at least two starters. Interested in thoughts on when we should we extend Allen. Seems there is no time like the present!
  5. https://www.facebook.com/reel/7991446737613264 "I shot 1 under today. One under a tree, One under a bush, One under the water" "I had a hole-in-one today. In my left sock and I switched it out" "Why didn't the bike work? It's two tired" "I usually shoot in the 80s. Anything hotter, I won't play" "What's the difference between you and a hang glider? A hang glider has a better chance of landing in the fairway"
  6. Two playoff games and the first two this year. His best is five straight. Brady gives him less risky throws and the points and touchdowns are still there. Hope he keeps it going and has a low turnover year.
  7. This will be interesting to see how these two fourth round picks play out. Bills had their choice and went with a RB who is 4 years older and smaller. Their division rival used their pick 6 picks later on Allen. Hoping the Bills got it right. Candidly, I preferred Allen due to his age, size and college experience coming from a run oriented program like Wisconsin. Both have had solid preseasons thus far and look like they will be contributors. Thoughts on who will have the better career? Braelon Allen: 6ft 1in 235lbs 20 years old pick 134 by the NYJ Ray Davis: 5ft 8in 220lbs 24 years old pick 128 by the Bills
  8. That’s on Baker, one of the best safeties in the game too. Allen already the GOAT at putting players on posters 😂
  9. He talked about urgency of a short week for facing the Ravens, and Lamar Jackson who won "a few MVPs."
  10. Kudos to Allen, I never felt like he was "talking" about Diggs when he made his post game comments Monday despite the media uproar to try and make it that since. If anyone knows Allen he isn't one to try and throw people under the table, take subtle jabs, etc. So sick of the media always trying to make nothing into something, like let these two dudes be. Both are happy with the result, both are doing their own things and being respectful of each other. The way the media just tries so hard to make a "story" just gets old. Diggs was even on social media after Hamlins interception, like quit trying to force drama.
  11. I know, I know... it's hard to believe because some have told us that Josh doesn't work hard in the offseason anymore. Contrary to the belief of some on this board, I guess Josh DOES do SOME work in the offseason. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/josh-allen-worked-to-make-throwing-motion-as-efficient-as-possible-this-offseason Edit: didn't see this posted last night... RIP to me
  12. by the media and non-Bills fans seems to be the trend this offseason. He’s getting the label of a guy that can’t and never will get it done. A “poor man’s Roethlisberger” or Phillip Rivers (who I think he’s already surpassed in 6 years.) Guys like Lamar Jackson get flack, but the flat out hating of Allen has been absolutely ridiculous lately and it’s everywhere, I’m not really bothered by it, I’m just wondering where it’s all coming from? Ignorance and sheep mentality? Whether he sniffs a SB in his life time or not, he’s going to be a HOFer on pure numbers alone. I’ve watched every one of his games as most of us have and he’s clearly not the problem. The turnover stat is so overblown and is on par w/ most of the top QBs in the league. 78 picks to Mahomes 63 over 6 years. That’s 2.5 more interceptions per season than Mahomes if you average it out. Not really that much in a 17 game span and most of them don’t usually affect the outcome of the game as the Bills have one of the best regular season records in the NFL since Allen was drafted.
  13. I saw this article from noted Josh Allen defender (though not a Bills fan, per se) Jarrett Bailey. Thought it was fun enough to share, and what the hell, it's the slow part of the offseason, so...enjoy! https://atozsports.com/buffalo/buffalo-bills-josh-allen-turnovers/ The laziest argument in sports today is the one that Josh Allen naysayers make when they say "but... but... the turnovers." Yes, the Buffalo Bills' alien cyborg was second in the NFL in interceptions in 2023. However, when you look at interception percentage, he wasn't throwing much more interceptions per attempt than many other quarterbacks who many media members drool over because of their underneath passing efficiency. Allen threw an interception roughly every 32 attempts in 2023. For comparison, Tua Tagovailoa threw an interception every 40 attempts and was fourth in the NFL in picks. Brock Purdy hovered around the same number of interceptions per attempt. But, since most fans of opposing teams just like to point at turnover numbers, I'll give them a few more numbers to point at since they'll be too busy eating boogers to do the research for themselves. Since 2020 (including playoffs), Josh Allen has three seasons in the top 20 of all quarterbacks in that span in terms of touchdown passes. Patrick Mahomes is the only other quarterback with three seasons in the top 20. How about yards since 2020? Allen also has three seasons in the top 20 of passing yards since 2020. Only Mahomes has more with four. Allen's 137 touchdown passes are the second most in that span only to Mahomes. His 36 rushing touchdowns are second amongst quarterbacks with only Jalen Hurts having more. And his 174 total touchdowns in the last four seasons are the most in the NFL. What about game-changing plays? Well, if you look at PFF's big time throws, Allen led the NFL in that category in both 2023 and 2022. He finished second in 2021 and fifth in 2020- he is the only quarterback in the NFL to finish in the top five in big time throws in each of the last four seasons. Even when Allen is under pressure, he's still amazing. He has two seasons that are in the top 10 in terms of passing yards per game under pressure- Justin Herbert is the only other quarterback with two such seasons. He also has two of the 10 best seasons in terms of touchdown percentage against pressure. The only other quarterback who can say that is Russell Wilson. And while throwing past the sticks against pressure, he has two of the three best seasons in the last four years of any quarterback with at least 100 attempts against pressure. So the next time someone says something about Josh Allen and his turnovers, show them these numbers. Because it's evident they don't dig any deeper to see that there has been precisely zero quarterbacks doing what he's been doing over the last half-decade. And every argument against him is the same argument because there is nothing else Allen haters can point to. It's lazy. So. Damn. Lazy. Is Allen perfect? No. But he's a hell of a lot closer to it than just about every other quarterback in recent memory. And odds are if you are reading this and you aren't a Bills fan, your favorite team's general manager would trade their first born child if it meant having Allen as his quarterback.
  14. This is my first thread here. I’m wondering what you guys think. QB is obviously such an important position for the success of a franchise. At what point do you tailor a QB under Josh to better transition into the next era. I love how the Packers make an effort to do this and I think it’s very important personally. I know it’s expensive but it’s also a team investment. I also think it makes more sense when you have an elite QB to be a mentor. Maybe I just have PTSD from the 2000’s but I’d hate to see Buffalo without a promising QB. Thoughts?
  15. NFL put this up yesterday. I once watched a JP Losman career highlight video and it was over before my coffee was half drunk, so let's take a moment to appreciate the fact that we have this cannon-armed lunatic playing QB for our team
  16. https://twitter.com/ChrisBrownBills/status/1800593281019228240 I saw him golf and I bet he had some chips EDIT From warrior's post: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/josh-allen-worked-to-make-throwing-motion-as-efficient-as-possible-this-offseason
  17. Just seems like it's our franchise QB's 7th year and he's being asked to carry more of a load than ever (which is a lot). I know at a micro level people are excited about the win yesterday but this also seems like a mediocre roster overall that Josh is being asked to carry (as usual). Thoughts?
  18. As the roster stands, this statement is true, and has been for years. But why is that acceptable, particularly when you have a team that is supposedly in contention for the Super Bowl? I'll bet the 1990 Giants, 2001 Patriots, and 2017 Eagles were all glad to have capable backups when their starter went down, but we punt on this position every year it seems. Kansas City sure didn't.
