Yeah, sorry...I didn't really understand it, haha. I thought it was just horrible players who got run out of town. How about Lawyer Milloy? I would say Matt Bowen, Izell Reese and Mark Campbell...they were all signings that were supposed to be good starters, and they sucked!

(I changed the ORIGINAL POST). I was checking out some of the UNrestricted Free Agents that are still available, and came up with quite a few that could help us out. Let me know what you think...(My top-12, and top-6 in bold) LB - Kendrell Bell (6-1, 245) - Would be a VERY solid backup LB. http://www.nfl.com/players/kendrellbell/profile?id=BEL415267 OG - Ruben Brown (6-3, 300) - Would make an excellent backup and mentor to our young OL. http://www.nfl.com/players/rubenbrown/profile?id=BRO668610 OT - Anthony Clement (6-8, 320) - Fits the mold of the guys we have, HUGE and athletic. Great backup. http://www.nfl.com/players/anthonyclement/...le?id=CLE167954 LB - Roosevelt Colvin (6-3, 250) - Starter quality, would be the best backup LB in the league. Has ties to Jauron. http://www.nfl.com/players/roseveltcolvin/...le?id=COL815193 S - Deke Cooper (6-2, 210) - Could possibly unseat KO. Last year's stats showed his talent and potential. http://www.nfl.com/players/dekecooper/profile?id=COO613941 OT - Nat Dorsey (6-7, 335) - See Anthony Clement. http://www.nfl.com/players/natdorsey/profile?id=DOR730504 S - Mike Doss (5-10, 207) - See Deke Cooper, minus the stats from last year when he was injured. http://www.nfl.com/players/mikedoss/profile?id=DOS264111 S - Kenoy Kennedy (6-1, 215) - Like Deke Cooper, he had good stats last year. Very tough, could unseat KO. http://www.nfl.com/players/kenoykennedy/profile?id=KEN442973 OT - Stockar McDougle (6-6, 348) - See Anthony Clement and Nat Dorsey. http://www.nfl.com/players/stockarmcdougle...le?id=MCD756462 OG - Shane Olivea (6-4, 312) - Starter for the Chargers, could step in and play RG OR C for us. http://www.nfl.com/players/shaneolivea/profile?id=OLI195248 OT - Oliver Ross (6-4, 327) - See Anthony Clement, Nat Dorsey and Stockar McDougle. http://www.nfl.com/players/oliverross/profile?id=ROS656940 LB - Takeo Spikes (6-2, 242) - Former heart and soul of our defense. Would love to have him back. Bet he would love to come back. http://www.nfl.com/players/takeospikes/profile?id=SPI270805 If we need a backup Quarterback: Daunte Culpepper and Byron Leftwich are still available. (I would rather have Culpepper). http://www.nfl.com/players/daunteculpepper...le?id=CUL586056 http://www.nfl.com/players/byronleftwich/p...le?id=LEF677964 Jerramy Stevens is still available as a Tight End. He has size and skill, also on the right side of 30...but character is a concern. http://www.nfl.com/players/jerramystevens/...le?id=STE617245 Former Bills backup linemen, Mike Pucillo and Ross Tucker, are still available and both have improved since their playing days here. http://www.nfl.com/players/mikepucillo/profile?id=PUC296636 http://www.nfl.com/players/rosstucker/profile?id=TUC282111 * There are many, many more Free Agents available that could help us out. But, most of the ones that I have listed here, are guys who have unrealized potential or have not reached their prime yet, and they are also young and hungry for more playing time/money. A team can always be improved, and a lot of these guys have great talent that could really help out this Buffalo Bills team, on offense AND defense! Out of the guys on these lists, who would you like the Bills to bring in for training camp, or at least a tryout??? ---> If you wanna see the rest of the guys, the guys I did not put on this list...here is the link I used... http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/fa?&act....com%2fnfl%2ffa

According to former Titans GM Floyd Reese, the Top-5 essentials to a healthy GM-Head Coach relationship are as follows: 1.) Specific and Detailed Outline of Responsibilities. 2.) Communication. 3.) Trust. 4.) Relationship With Owner. 5.) Expertise. * So I don't take up too much bandwidth, or whatever, I have posted the article so you all can refer to it. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor...&id=3396254 How do you all think the Bills head-honchos relate to this? Do you think these work well for us? I personally believe that all 5 of these things have shown themselves in the relationship between our Coach and GM. Thoughts?

Nothing better to do or talk about today I see. Whether he is gay or not, he is in the NFL making millions upon millions...and NONE of us are.

If the Bills MAKE the playoffs
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to EndZoneCrew's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We will also have to prevent injuries, and if we do suffer injuries, we will have to persevere like last year...and key role players and backups will have to step up, step in and perform. Even if we don't see many injuries, our role players will still have to contribute as much as possible. -
If the Bills MAKE the playoffs
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to EndZoneCrew's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills resemble the game plan of last year's Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. Browns: 1. Trent Edwards has a coming out party (ala Derek Anderson) and our passing attack proves to be improved and strong. 2. Our #1 Running Back dominates defenses, causing Defensive Coordinators to stack 8 in the box. Giants: 1. Our Defensive Line figures out how to work together, causes sacks...and puts A LOT of pressure on Tom Brady. 2. We have a solid 1-2 and 3 punch at Running Back (ala Jacobs, Bradshaw and Ward). We will also need a Tight End to step up and contribute, and our Offensive Line will have to continue to improve. * Basically, what I am saying is that the Bills will need a lot to fall into place, in order for us to succeed and make the playoffs. Optimistic Prediction: 11-5 Realistic Prediction: 9-7 If we make the playoffs, it would obviously be as a Wildcard...however, I don't think 9-7 would cut it and get us in. -
before either has played a game??? how about, before either of them has even stepped on the field for training camp????? who cares who gets in more trouble, although hardy really didnt get in any trouble...how about we compare their stats 10 years from now?

They said that the Buffalo Bills are the most underrated team in the Power Rankings between #11-#20. They have the Bills at #17, and they said that the Bills will surprise everyone this year, not because of their draft or free agents, but because of the "HEART" they showed last year. Dick Jauron gets the most out of his team, and with the additions they added this offseason, and the "HEART" they play with...the Bills will be a playoff contender and much better than last year!!! I pretty much got a hard-on listening to them talk about the Bills like that! haha!

USA TODAY power rankings out....
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to Tonawanda Troy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think ALL of those teams mentioned are in good position to be good teams this year. 1. The Redskins made the playoffs last year, and there is no reason to think they wont be better this year with Jason Campbell healthy and all of the weapons they drafted for him this year. Clinton Portis will also be healthy. I think Zorn will do a good job in his first year. 2. The Panthers should be a solid team, especially with the signing of Muhammed and Peppers being healthy. 3. The Texans are on the up and up. They drafted well and signed some key free agents. Schaub will shine this year. After getting a new coaching staff last year, I think they will pull everything together and be much better. 4. The Broncos are a very solid team who did not lose anybody besides Javon Walker. They will be a playoff contender. 5. The Vikings have a Top-5 defense and arguably the best running back in the NFL. They will improve. 6. The Titans were a playoff team last year. They will be even better with the draft they had and some key free agent additions. 7. The Browns were a playoff team last year, and they got MUCH better this offseason. They will win their division. I think with everything they have done as far as adding players, if Anderson plays like he did last year, they could go to the Super Bowl. 8. The Buccaneers won their division and there is no reason to think they won't do it again. 9. The Cardinals have unlimited potential and talent. They had a VERY solid draft and signed some very good free agents. I think this is the year that they finally pull everything together and make the playoffs. It all lies in the hands of Matt Leinart. *---> The only teams I would put the Bills ahead of in the "Power Rankings" out of these teams, would be the...Panthers, Texans, Titans, Buccaneers and Cardinals. I would actually put them in a tie with the Cardinals, Titans and Redskins. The Browns are the only team that I think is noticeably better than the Bills. AP and Defense is the only reason why the Vikings are any better. -
Booger MacFarland
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't mind seeing him get a tryout. I remember him being quite a dominant force in Tampa and Indy. If healthy, I would love to see a Booger on this team. -
Depending on how his season goes, I would take Travis Beckum with a late 1st round pick, after what I have read on him and seen of him. He was a finalist for the Mackey Award, which is for the nations best tight-end.

Astro's Top 20 All-Dred Heads
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What does this go by? I would say the "Just Missed" crew should be in the Top-20 players with dreads over the likes of Josh Cribbs, Steve Johnson, Walt Harris, Chris Davis and Nate Webster? And as much as I like him, I would not say that Lynch is better than all of those players. Jason Peters USED to have dreads...where does he fall in there??? -
I can't find where it has been posted, if it has I am sorry... ...But the "white guy we got from Miami" would be Greg Jerman. I remember when we signed him, my buddy who is a Dolphins fan, just laughed. He said the Dolphins should have payed the Bills to take him away. He was horrendous.

Good Luck Poles!
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to Wilson from Gamehendge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
haha, nope...just about a local product that has earned his chance to be in the league! -
I came home today to find out that a high school football teammate and friend of mine has been signed by an NFL football team. Boston College Guard - Ryan Poles was signed by the Chicago Bears. Coming off an achilles injury, he is probably a year or 2 away from actually making a team, but congrats and good luck!!! Make CA proud!

A Few Things I Found...
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to Wilson from Gamehendge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, Chris Leak played horrible at Florida, where he was Team Captain for 3 out of his 4 years on the team. Although, he was a Heisman candidate at one point and is a National Champion. He won 3 consecutive High School State Championships, and was nearly perfect with only 1 loss. He set and still holds many North Carolina state records, and the National Record for most TD's in a high school career. In college, he was on SEC Academic Honor Roll every semester, and he also broke and still holds many University of Florida and SEC records as a Quarterback. Everything he did in his Florida career, he did so while having to adjust to 3 different Offensive Coordinators. Everything he accomplished in his Senior season, he did so against the hardest and strongest schedule in the nation! He was a Keynote Speaker at the University of Florida's graduation ceremony, an honor only a handful of students get due to their academic achievements. Also, he volunteers to work with children that are not well-off and he is very active within the communities in which he has lived in. He is very mature and excepts his responsibilities. He seems like a great person and probably plays with a chip on his shoulder.(Read about him!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Leak He also won the Hall Trophy in 2002, which is awarded to the Most Outstanding High School Football Player in the nation, meaning it is basically the equivalent to the Heisman Trophy of High School Football. (Who else won this award?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hall_Trophy In 2003, he set a SEC Freshman record for wins, and he was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team and Rival.com All-Freshman Team. He also won the Pete Dawkins Trophy in 2003, which is awarded to the MVP of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. (Who else won this award?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Dawkins_Trophy He also won the MVP in the SEC Championship game and the BCS National Championship game in 2007. (Who else won this award?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BCS_National_Championship He was also a Draddy Trophy finalist in 2007, known as the Academic Heisman for college athletes. (Who else won this award?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draddy_Trophy *This guy is a TEAM PLAYER and portrays the definition of HIGH CHARACTER! I would say that he has the potential and talent to be just as good as J.P. Losman. Those are the 2 that I would like to take a look at the most! I think Gandy would be a great/strong addition to our line and he has also been a long-snapper, which would be a signing that could fill and upgrade 2 positions, because Ryan Neill is not much of a Defensive End. Schlegal would be a great backup, and could eventually move into a starting spot, or at least contribute as a key role-player. He has been compared to Chris Spielman and has averaged 7 tackles a game over his entire football playing career. He loves the game of football and is a very hard worker that gives 300%, only settling for the best. Many say that out of the "TRIO" at Ohio State his senior season, there was not much drop off between Carpenter, Laurainitis and Schlegel. He was the "Free Spirit" and "Heart and Soul" of that defense that year, which was one of the best in the nation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dylan_Gandy http://www.anthonyschlegel.com http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Schlegel *I would really like the Bills to bring in Schlegel, and to also sign Bobby Carpenter if the Cowboys cut him, which is very likely. Both of these guys would provide much better depth on defense and special teams, over Bowen, Brockington, Banks and even Ellison (IMO). Schelgel, POZ, Carpenter would make a very strong, aggressive and young Trio of backers for the future, to replace Mitchell and Crowell if or when we lose them. -
Hypothetical Question
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to bills_fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would trade Eugene Wilson for Jason Taylor. I would trade Matt Light for Jason Taylor. I would trade Deion Branch for Jason Taylor. And I would also trade Marquise Hill for Jason Taylor. They also drafted Bethel Johnson in the 2nd round, and I would also trade him for Jason Taylor. And who is to say we are not a player or 2 away from a Super Bowl run? Did you see the Steelers, Bears and Giants the last few years? Going into training camp, I dont think anybody would have said they were on their way to the Super Bowl that year. Our defense is on the rise and adding a player with the caliber of Jason Taylor, would not be a bad thing. You give up a 2nd round draft pick for him and see what he does, on AND off the field (in the locker room) and watch how he helps develop our younger defensive linemen. Ellis, Johnson, McCargo, Jefferson and McCray would ALL be better off learning from one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL, even Schobel and Kelsay could learn a few things. Then to make up for that 2nd rounder, the Bills could trade a package with JP Losman/Fred Jackson/and another young player on the rise, or something along those lines. I think Jason Taylor still has 5 years left in him to play at a high level. His production did not drop off much from last year, when he won defensive player of the year honors, to this year, when he played on a horrible defense. This is just my opinion and everybody deserves a chance to express their opinion. I think the Bills would gain from adding Jason Taylor. -
This is who I think it will be as well, as I have posted in a few other posts already. Here is what I said... 1 more thing that I think is that WR Steve Johnson, WILL make the team AND be a HUGE surprise!!! He will move into our 3rd WR slot by the end of this season!

Hypothetical Question
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to bills_fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it is funny that some people think we could get a high draft pick for J.P. Losman, but you would only give up a 4th rounder for one of the top defensive ends in the NFL, when you wanted to spend the #11 pick on Derrick Harvey? I would trade Losman for a 4th, and trade a 2nd for Taylor. -
A Few Things I Found...
Wilson from Gamehendge replied to Wilson from Gamehendge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dylan Gandy started for the Indianapolis Colts...makes me think, who is Jason Whittle and why is he "VALUED?" http://www.colts.com/sub.cfm?page=bio&player_id=316 -
I could not find anything on this information, but I think it is interesting... 1.) The Buffalo Bills are interested in QB Chris Leak. - Free agent QB Chris Leak will participate in a three-day rookie camp with the Chiefs. The former Florida signal caller spent training camp with the Bears last season before being cut. The Bills have also expressed interest in Leak, who was signed to play in the forthcoming All-American Football League. The AAFL will now begin its inaugural campaign in 2009. (Source - Charlotte Observer) 2.) The Indianapolis Colts have released C/G Dylan Gandy. - Colts released C/G Dylan Gandy. A low-profile move, but this is still a shocker. Gandy, a fourth-round pick from Texas Tech in 2005, started 14 games as a valued swingman the past three seasons. He was in line to start at left guard, but Indianapolis deemed Charlie Johnson and rookies Mike Pollak and Steve Justice more worthy. (Source - ESPN Insider). 3.) The Cincinnati Bengals have released LB Anthony Schlegal. - Bengals waived LBs Anthony Schlegel and Roy Manning. Schlegel was a disasterous first day pick two years ago by the Jets. Manning is a special teamer. Cincy has a lot of questions marks at linebacker, but also some depth of talent for the first time in a while. (Source - Rotoworld). 4.) The St. Louis Rams have released TE Dominique Byrd. - Rams waived TE Dominique Byrd. A third-round pick out of USC in 2006, Byrd could not get on the field behind Joe Klopfenstein, Randy McMichael, and Aaron Walker. He was also arrested in 2006 for striking a man in the face with a broken bottle at a bar, DUI in 2007, and was deactivated for the Rams' finale last season for missing a meeting. Byrd may not get another chance. (Source - St. Louis Post Dispatch). 1.) I think Chris Leak would be a nice backup Quarterback for us (2nd or 3rd stringer). 2.) Dylan Gandy, I believe, would be an upgrade over Melvin Fowler...would definitely be a VERY nice depth lineman. (I LOVE THIS IDEA!) 3.) Anthony Schlegal was an outstanding Linebacker at Ohio State...he is at least worth a look. 4.) Dominique Byrd was buried behind 2 good Tight Ends in St. Louis, and is certainly worth at least a look. * These are just some ideas...I think all these players are worth a look. Leak could become a great backup. Gandy could be a solid starter. Schlegal could be a great special teams player and solid backup. Byrd could be a receiving threat, and people can change their behavior with a change of scenery. ** I would like it very much if the Bills brought these guys in for tryouts, at least for training camp...I bet Gandy and Byrd/Schelgal would stick. *** Thoughts/Ideas??? 1 more thing that I think is that WR Steve Johnson, WILL make the team AND be a HUGE surprise!!! He will move into our 3rd WR slot by the end of this season!

Devin Thomas did that 2 or 3 other times when they showed him. It might have been 1 of the Cowboys pick, or around that selection area (20's)...somebody handed him his phone, and he acted as if they said they were gonna draft him. I noticed it during Buffalo's pick, but during a couple others as well.
