  1. I will be attending training camp Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week. I will bring along my digital camera for pictures and videos (which I will need help learning how to post them here). I was wondering if there was any certain players or area of the team (offense / defense), that you all would like me to pay better attention to. Maybe Monday I will soley focus on the Offense, the Wednesday I will do the Defense. Any ideas are appreciated. Sometime tomorrow evening I will post what I get in the morning. I CANT WAIT!!! *on a side note...I was driving by Fisher tonight and happened to look at the stadium, when the lights caught my eye. I noticed a few guys down on the field throwing the ball around. I could not really see anything other than the bodies of a few pretty big guys...got me thinking if maybe Trent and some receivers were out running routes and such. Anyways, it was interesting to think about these guys going out at 11pm and practicing on their own...ya think they do that???
  2. absolutely HORRENDOUS! not even close to being funny...the only thing he said that came remotely close to being funny was the whole, "you were probably voted most likely to not have a good time, in high school." that was alright. the rest just flat out sucked.
  3. i went to high school with a peter griffin... here's his yearbook picture... http://media.ebaumsworld.com/picture/Punis...etergriffin.jpg
  4. so for those of us without nfl network, we cannot see any of the preseason games??????
  5. how can we STILL be having trouble "getting Maybin in on time?" last i checked, training camp started 2 days ago...therefore, Maybin, no matter what happens now, will not be on time.
  6. what gets me even more interested is that T.O. has HIS OWN little section on the NFL.com page. Every day in the top right corner, there is your T.O. news. http://www.nfl.com/
  7. 100% agreed!!! Hell, if they were football players, I'd take Charles Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer...if it lets me see my favorite SPORTS team win some games, and enter the playoffs... I dont care who is on this team, I just wanna see us WIN! Vick probably has such a HUGE chip on his shoulder, and he would probably just about do anything for the team he is on, just to make the team and play. We could use him in crazy ways. Plus, it would sell even MORE tix and jerseys. If it happened, AS SOON as it happened...ALL the Vick haters, would soon be Vick lovers...a la T.O. SO mark me down for..."AYE!"
  8. Steve Johnson has what he is looking for. However, he is still young and not in a starters role. He probably does not speak out much against the team...although he should...check 'em out! This 1 line is how EVERY BILLS PLAYER should think and feel: "If one fight, we all start fightin' too, we like a crew. Better yet, call us a Fam', there's no "I" on this team, 'cause we ALL the man..." - Steve Johnson
  9. after reading a bills article on espn.com, i scrolled through some comments at the bottom of the page...came across this one, and couldnt happen to crack a smile along with a little giggle out loud... nbetweennownthen (7/25/2009 at 11:52 AM) "Paging Dick Jauron....7-9 is on Line 1 for you again. Paging Dick Jauron..."
  10. here is my 2009 bills squad...i'll just have a coke with no ice, please. offense - 24 qb (2) - Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick rb (3) - Marshawn Lynch, Freddie Jackson, Dominic Rhodes fb (1) - Corey McIntyre wr (6) - Lee Evans, Terrell Owens, Josh Reed, Roscoe Parrish, Steve Johnson, James Hardy te (3) - Derek Schouman, Derek Fine, Shawn Nelson lt (2) - Langston Walker, Demetrius Bell lg (2) - Andy Levitre, Jonathan Scott c (1) - Geoff Hangartner rg (2) - Eric Wood, Seth McKinney rt (2) - Brad Butler, Kirk Chambers special teams - 3 k (1) - Rian Lindell p (1) - Brian Moorman ls (1) - Ryan Neill <---waste of a roster spot, imho. defense - 25 lde (3) - Chris Kelsay, Aaron Maybin, Ryan Denney dt (4) - Marcus Stroud, Kyle Williams, John McCargo, Spencer Johnson rde (2) - Aaron Schobel, Chris Ellis lolb (2) - Nic Harris, Keith Ellison mlb (3) Paul Posluzny, John Digiorgio, Pat Thomas rolb (2) - Kawika Mitchell, Alvin Bowen cb (5) - Terrance McGee, Leodis McKelvin, Ashton Youboty, Reggie Corner, Ellis Lankster fs (2) - Jairus Byrd, George Wilson ss (2) - Donte Whitner, Bryan Scott *my LAST roster spot is up between: Jon Corto(lb/s), Ventrell Jenkins (dt/de), Ko Simpson (fs), John Wendling (ss), Drayton Florence (cb), Ashlee Palmer (olb), Marcus Buggs (mlb) or Cary Harris (cb). - Corto and Wendling are special teams aces. Wendling can play both fs and olb. Corto is our "Rudy." - Ko Simpson is a former starter and showed nice potential, until his injury. I'd rather not give up yet. - Ventrell Jenkins looks promising and has good potential. Worth the risk as a project, maybe on practice squad. - Florence was a former starter and was a good one. He would be a great backup, if he can beat the young guys. - Ashlee Palmer has been showing potential and promise in Spring workouts. Practice squad is a safe bet. - Marcus Buggs showed his stuff last summer, and has come back from his injury. Has speed and tenacity. - Cary Harris was taken in this years draft, did his USC teammates make him look good, or does he have talent? *I think we keep Ko and give him 1 more chance. Whitner and Simpson open the season as starters. Byrd supplants Simpson, and Ko is gone soon after. Most likely next year. - I think that rb Justise Hairston (instead of Omon) will get the #3 backup call while Lynch serves his suspension. - I also think, Justin Jenkins will get the nod as the last wr, until Hardy is ready to go.
  11. Just happened to be flipping through the tv stations, and I came across "Kendra" the show of Playboy model, Hef's former chick, now engaged to Philly WR Hank Baskett. Well, Kendra and Hank have decided to have a big family get-together, and they invited some of their friends along. Kendra invited some Playboy friends, and Hank, well...Hank invited Jon Dorenbos, who brought along his SUPER HOT FIANCEE!!! LB Chris Gocong and his hot wife were also invited, but being a starting LB should get you more than the Long-Snapper. I would put up an argument for Mr. Dorenbos, his girl is the HOTTEST on the show! WEIRD! Picture of his GF: http://www.facebook.com/profile/pic.php?ui...NJrENnFiMCPIGbq READ THIS STORY: His Father killed his Mother when he was a kid. Makes ya wanna root for this guy! http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...nterstitialskip
  12. bottom line... terrrell owens is THE MAN...and he is now, our wide receiver. i am excited.
  13. i think these two girls are watching out for his best interest. let it get into more detail about his actual life, before you start to judge. i have ALWAYS been a HUGE TO HATER, but i have been excited to see this show so i can see where he comes from. i already seem to like him quite a bit since he has got here, and i think he will only get better to prove A LOT of people wrong. how can he go and do this show, to do just that, and then turn around and act a fool? this is good for Terrell and good for the bills. he'll be a model citizen and a big difference on this team. i would bet on it! "I'm smiling 'cause I'm handsome." - Terrell Owens I LOVE IT! GO T.O. - GO BILLS!!!
  14. if we draft that high...i would take LT Ciron Black from LSU, and then trade back into the bottom of the 1st for RT Sam Young from Notre Dame. Black is a pass-blocker and Young is a run-blocker...both are HUGE and can move well. OLB i would take Herzlich from BC. DE i would take Griffen from USC. DT i would take Suh from Nebraska. i also like Bowman out of PSU...but i'm a homer. and for the savoir of our franchise...player/coach/gm...i would take tim tebow, in vitro son of chuck norris.
  15. Arthur Jones is being projected right now, as a top-20 pick next spring. http://cdsdraft.com/profile.php?id=2898 http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dspro...0&genpos=DT http://www.nfldraftbible.com/Players/List/...thur-Jones.html http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1115105 *he is also being projected as a DE in a 3-4 due to his size...and he is being drafted in this mock, by none other than the new england patriots. http://scoutingthesports.com/?tag=arthur-jones-new-england
  16. LOL! so, sticking to your philosophy that running backs start to decline after their 2nd year, the vikings should trade adrian peterson as soon as possible, right? afterall, he is entering his 3rd season...and that can only mean one thing, right? a running back doesn't even hit his prime until his 3rd season, or after. lynch will be better 2-3 years from now, than he is today. put him behind a top-notch offensive line as the featured offensive player, he would rack up 1,600 yards. easy. besides the offensive line...i am going to go out on a limb here and say our secondary is our weakest link. we do not have a single STUD, All-Pro player back there roaming the defense, that can make game-changing plays. most playoff teams last year had not just one, but 2 studs in the defensive backfield...if not more. ( * means the player is no longer on that team) Titans: Chris Hope, Cortland Finnegan and Michael Griffin Steelers: Troy Polamalu (Bryant McFadden*/Ike Taylor) Dolphins: Yeremiah Bell and Will Allen (Jason Allen) Chargers: Antonio Cromartie and Quentin Jammer (Eric Weddle/Antoine Cason) Colts: Bob Sanders and Antoine Bethea (Marlin Jackson) Ravens: Ed Reed and Samari Rolle (Chris McCallister*/Jim Leonhard*/Dawan Landry) Giants: Kenny Phillips and Aaron Ross (Michael Johnson/Kevin Dockery/Corey Webster) Panthers: Chris Gamble and Chris Harris (Ken Lucas*/Charles Godfrey) Vikings: Antoine Winfield and Cedric Griffin (Tyrell Johnson/Madieu Williams) Cardinals: Adrian Wilson and Antrell Rolle (Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie) Falcons: Chevis Jackson and Erik Coleman (Lawyer Milloy*/Chris Houston) Eagles: Brian Dawkins*, Asante Samuel, Lito Sheppard* and Sheldon Brown (Joselio Hanson/Quinton Mikell) *I REALLY like our secondary lineup of: McGee, McKelvin, Corner, Youboty, Lankster, Florence, Whitner, Scott, Simpson and Byrd...I just do not see it adding up to some of these mentioned above. I pray to stand corrected this season...as we see what top-notch secondaries get ya in this league.
  17. Notre Dame is trying to schedule a home game for each of the next few years, at the new Yankee Stadium. this year...2011, 2012 and 2013. opponents would be Army this year...and possibly Syracuse and Rutgers for 2 of the future games. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4336932 I would definitly try to go down in a year or two to see 'Cuse play the Irish in Yankee Stadium. The tickets for these games will probably be OUTRAGEOUS though.
  18. lol i think if used correctly, maybin will get upwards towards double digit sacks...not quite reaching 10. i will say 7
  19. at least somebody realizes my point in the thread. and the fact that it was not ME who found it, yet a friend who is a dolphins fan, sent me that saying that the "EXPERT ANALYSTS" predict the dolphins to beat the bills both games, and be "Sooooooooooooo goood" again. i think dolphins fans make me more sick than new england ones.
  20. GAME #1 I will start by saying I think the Bills are a very bad football team. I understand they signed Terrell Owens but Trent Edwards took a major step back last season and to be honest we dominated them in our season sweep of the Bills. Marshawn Lynch will be rusty after serving his suspension but I think our defense takes their Offense down and I think we make some big plays against their young defense. The Bills secondary needs work as Ted Ginn Jr. burnt them for 7 catches and 175 receiving yards on the teams’ number one corner. Pennington will play a typical Chad game and complete 22 passes out of 29 attempts and throw a touchdown to Ginn and Fasano. Trent Edwards will be on his back a lot of I expect Joey Porter to get the hat trick with 3 sacks. The Bills have the worst Offensive Tackle Situation in the league and will have two rookies starting at guards. My Prediction: Dolphins take this one fairly easily. The Bills will be 0-4 and Terrell Owens will start his crying ; Lee Evans will get upset that he is now the number two target and Trent Edwards will have T.O. in his ear demanding the ball. Dolphins win 27-10 (Record: 3-1) GAME #2 Week 12 has us traveling to Buffalo to play the Buffalo Bills and by this point Terrell Owens has turned this locker room upside down. I think there is some offensive talent on this roster with Lee Evans, Marshawn Lynch, and Terrell Owens but letting Jason Peters go is going to be a major mistake for this team. Their Left Tackle is in for a long season which in turn indicates that Trent Edwards might spend more time on his back than Jenna Jameson. Their defense doesn’t scare me either. Ted Ginn Jr. touched their secondary last season. Their linebacker core is average and Aaron Maybin has bust written all over him.We proved we can score on them and we proved their Offensive Line couldn’t block Joey Porter who accounted for 4 sacks in two games versus the bills last season. With the an improved pass rush in Miami and a weaker offensive line in Buffalo I think Miami fans should get the brooks ready. My Prediction: 24-21…. Dolphins WIN! (Record: 7-4) http://www.finheaven.com/ Their predictions for this year have the Dolphins playing like the Pats* of 2 years ago. Bunch of idiots!
  21. stop and think about the original question? Yes, we lost Peters. He wanted way too much money. Don't get me wrong, I have honestly been a Jason Peters fan since the day I found him, searching for players coming out in the 2004 draft. I was looking for "surprise" players to tell my buddy about, and Peters was the guy I wanted Buffalo to get. Who would'nt want a 6'4 300 lb Tight End. Anyways, I would rather have kept the money for extentions like Fred Jackson, and the draft picks to get promising Rookies in Eric Wood and Shawn Nelson. I believe both of these guys will be dominant players at their positions, IF used correctly. Ryan Fitzpatrick's performance down the stretch last year with a HORRIBLE team, proves he is better than Losman and Hamdan. Not to mention the fact, he has a job, and Losman...well, not so lucky. Dominic Rhodes is a proven veteran who has been a winner. He starts the season as a decent #2 to Jackson, rounding out the crew as a great #3 back, giving this trio potential #1 status. I would sure rather have him than Xavier Omon. Are you really going to argue that Terrell Owens will NOT make this team a better football team? Hopefully people follow his lead and listens to what he has to say. He is a proven veteran, one of the best all-time. HE WANTS TO WIN! Geoff Hangartner is built for and has played against the 3-4 defenses. He is already is a better prospect than Melvin Fowler or Duke Preston. Hangartner has a nasty meanstreak to him, and he is a very cerebral player. Carolina could nice afford to keep all their players if they were going to re-sign Jordan Gross and Franchise Peppers. They WANTED him back, both players and coaches. He is the best Center we have had in a while. McKinney, Florence and Thomas are all quality backups. Thomas brings some starting experience, and he has some size to go against the bigger lineman, compared to Digiorgio. They compliment eachother nicely behind Poz. Florence showed promise when he played in San Diego, until Jammer came along and they drafted Cromartie. I believe he would be a nice nickel-corner, and a great backup. However, I have faith in and like all of our young corners. Nobody can say if we are better or not, until the pads go on and the games begin. But, how people can not think we are a better football team on paper, is a crazy crazy thing.
  22. Plain and simple...yes, this team has gotten better, if not MUCH better. Just compare the players we lost to the players we added. The Value is not even comparable. Looking at this, it is easy to see why: Free Agents/Re-Signed/Drafted: WR Terrell Owens - desperately needed playmaker. takes pressure off Evans. C Geoff Hangartner - smart technician who can handle 3-4 dt's. upgraded the position. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick - intelligent signal caller, upgraded the position. RB Dominic Rhodes - hardnosed runner, maybe the best #3 in the league. MLB Pat Thomas - young and has started NFL games. quality depth. CB Drayton Florence - good competition for a quality group. has great potential, shown in SD. OL Seth McKinney - journeyman who can add great depth to the entire interior of the line. RB Fred Jackson - extended, and well deserved. one of the most underrated PLAYERS in the league. OLB Keith Ellison - has been holding his own as a starter, decent player...could be upgraded. OL Kirk Chambers - valuable versatile lineman that has started and can sub in for just about anyone. MLB John Digiorgio - showed his worth two years ago as a starter, quality backup. FS/WR George Wilson - see John Digiorgio. WR Justin Jenkins - special teams ace, not much of a WR...at most, decent #4/#5 WR. * (ALL of whom got extensive playing time the last two years, giving them valuable experience.) DE/OLB Aaron Maybin - explosive pass-rusher, adds much needed playmaking ability to D-Line. OL Eric Wood - mean and nasty, was a Center, drafted as OG. DB Jairus Byrd - his father was a Pro-Bowler, he possesses the ability to be a hard-hitting playmaker. OL Andy Levitre - mean streak like Wood, was a Tackle, drafted as a OG. TE Shawn Nelson - playmaking TE has been missing for the entire decade. he could shine. OLB/SS Nic Harris - hard hitting college safety looks to challenge Ellison for starting OLB spot. CB Cary Harris - might be too slow to be a starting CB in the league, but could be a great backup. CB Ellis Lankster - could be a steal in the draft with the endless potential he has been showing. Player's Lost: LT Jason Peters - one of the best. not overrated, but certainly overpaid. out of AFC. CB Jabari Greer - he was a diamond of the rough, a true gem...glad he got paid, and moved out of the AFC. OLB Angelo Crowell - quality player for his years here, injury plagued and out of the AFC. LG Derrick Dockery - overrated during his stay in Buffalo, way overpaid. TE Robert Royal - overrated. easily replaced. OL Duke Preston - never amounted to much more than a decent backup. got paid, out of AFC. OLB Blake Costanzo - special teamer, not much lost here. C Melvin Fowler - easily upgraded. never progressed. QB JP Lossman - not sure where to start here...i will just wish him well. We also brought in some quality pieces to add to the staff in Nix and Sanders. In my eyes, this team is MUCH better than we were at this point last year...WAYYY BETTER. Add in the fact that our players endured what the went through as a team together last season, and the season before...and I think that the Buffalo Bills are about ready to burst onto the scene, into the National spotlight and surprise some people. FIRST PLAY OF THE YEAR: The opposing defense will be thinking BOMB to Owens, all the while, paying no attention to Evans. Play action, #5 to #83.
  23. Max Unger -C- Seahawks Jul. 10 - 10:59 am et According to sources, rookie OL Max Unger is simply too good not to be a starter this season. The Seahawks love that Unger can play multiple positions along the line. He figures to play a significant role this season. Source: Pro Football Weekly *For our sake, I REALLY hope Hangartner, and more importantly Wood (and Levitre), pan out. We will need ONE of those two Rookies to eventually become a Pro-Bowler.
  24. this is horrible. so bad and so sad. rip - steve mcnair
  25. i can't wait to see this kid ring ted ginn's bell when we play miami.
