  1. on a side note...(looking to the left side)...how much did you pay to get those attached to your girl's upper torso?
  2. vick and favre to be in todays roster update. i wish we could get lankster instead of cary harris. also nice to see they gave us STEVIE instead of Jenkins.
  3. by the way... remember when everyone here wanted us to pick up Ernest Wilford in FA a couple years back??? well, he is now the dolphins' 5th or 6th string tight end.
  4. agreed. i would have taken Mack, Wood AND Unger. that would have been an awesome interior o-line...FOR YEARS!
  5. Hey, THANKS guys. That was quite informative and helpful. I really appreciate your help and research. god bless.
  6. 1. I have also heard that Sean Smith is looking like a complete stud, and I was not happy when Miami drafted Turner. I think he will become a great WR for them, a Brandon Marshall/Plaxico Burress type guy. Hopefully, he gets in the same amount of trouble too! I also think that rookie WR Brian Hartline will be a nice addition to their offense. 2. I think Vontae Davis is going to turn out to be a very good player, in the mold of Antoine Winfield. Pat White...ehh. I was NEVER sold on him and he does not scare me anymore than Roscoe should scare the dolFANS. 3. I agree with the "folks" down there. Miami was, and is going to be good, because of their offensive line. Parcells knew that is how you win games, and it was the first thing he did when he came in. Jake Long is a dominant force, looking like the next Tony Boselli. I think Vernon Carey is underrated, Smiley is certainly no dud...and I think their BEST acquisition this offseason, free agency AND draft, was Jake Grove. Satele was good, but not against the 3-4. Grove will make them that much better this year. 4. I think with just Crowder and Porter, their LB corps is already better than ours. Enter Jason Taylor, and their group becomes one of the best in the league. I also think they have 2 guys as backups who are really solid (Ayodele and Torbor). I also think that the addition of Cameron Wake will pay big dividends. Matt Roth is a hybrid guy as OLB/DE and he is not a dud either. Their DE's, Langford and Merling are going to be an excellent tandem. The secondary will be better because of the pass-rush skills of all these players I mentioned (Taylor, Porter, Wake, Roth, Merling and Langford). They also have a couple decent DT's. The secondary will grow with these 2 new CB's who could turn into the next Clements-Winfield tandem. They also have Will Allen and Jason Allen at cornerback, and Yeremiah Bell and Gibril Wilson at the safety spots. I think this secondary is going to fly under the radar and is very underrated, the most underrated player probabaly being Yeremiah Bell. Their defense will most likely finish ahead of and better than ours. ps. I have heard that Ted Ginn Jr. is turning into a very solid receiver, working on his route running and timing. He has decent hands and PLENTY of speed to burn. He and Patrick Turner could be a VERY nice young WR duo. Devone Bess showed he is a solid WR, and so did Greg Camarillo while he was healthy.
  7. I would have taken Michael Oher, Alex Mack, Clay Matthews or Larry English. I would have rather concentrated on the O-Line in the 1st and 2nd round...then I would have drafted Lawrence Sidbury in the 3rd or 4th, as a DE/OLB like Maybin is projected to be.
  8. He would probably go to the Ravens and perform admirably, like Bannan and Leonhard did. I think they will keep either an extra FS or an extra SS, maybe somebody that can backup at both spots. I also wish that Lydell Sargeant had a shot at making the team. I think he is a baller and with time, could turn into a solid cornerback. I heard that he makes up for his speed with his athleticism and strength, and he is a decent tackler. Not to mention, he is a PSU alum and I am a major homer. But, I think it would be wise to build this defense around such players as Poz, Maybin and Sargeant...all whom were teammates on a Joe Paterno led football squad.
  9. I played high school football and have also helped coach at that level. I also follow football like it is my job/life...however, some questions have always been on my mind and I would like some answers. 1. What is the difference between a "1-gap" and a "3-gap" technique for a defensive tackle? Is there a "2-gap?" 2. What is the benefit of a "4-6" defense and does any team in the league employ this scheme? 3. What is the difference between an Offensive Quality Control Coach and an Offensive Coordinator? Hope to gain some knowledge here. They may be stupid questions, but I just don't get it. I look forward to hearing some POSITIVE input, please NO nagging. Also...what is the difference in a 3-step drop and a 5-step drop, for a quarterback? Just to buy time for the receivers?
  10. yeah, miami's offense looked REALLLLLY schitty last year, didnt it? by the way...the have gotten better, and we have stayed the same. not to mention, they still have a WAY better coach and WAY better front office. they are the only team in our division that scares me.
  11. being a penn state fan...this is killing me. i am getting to damn frusterated with maybin and his prick of an agent. "Maybin’s value should fall somewhere between the respective five-year contracts signed by Raji ($28.5 million, with just under $18 million guaranteed) and Orakpo ($20 million, with $12.1 million guaranteed)." give the sumbitch 5 years - $24 million, $15 mill guarenteed. was that hard to figure out? i hope crabtree gets his legs snapped off by tko in practice, once the pu$$y signs and reports, and he never sees the playing field.
  12. Michael Vick will be included in the Madden '10 roster update on Wednesday. His overall rating is a solid '74', which is only 2 notches below Trent Edwards. What the hey...seems about right, eh? http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Michael-V...L-10-19270.html
  13. it's an idea i am sure the bills were looking into. hey, using the fullback as a tailback worked for the ravens with le'ron mcclain.
  14. i would say cortland finnegan is the best cornerback in the league. and, man did the chiefs hit the jack-pot with brandon flowers. nice 2nd rounder if ya ask me!
  15. noooooo...i would say this one gets the nod!
  16. talk about chemistry...i never knew that jason peters and shawn andrews were teammates AND roommates in college, not to mention shawn's brother, stacey, is playing next to him. i think that will be a solid, cohesive, dominant unit. as for the bills...i'll continue to say (until their play proves me wrong) i think we wasted 2 draft picks this year: levitre and byrd. i also think that in 2 years, eric wood will be our starting center. instead of byrd we should've taken everette brown or max unger. and instead of levitre, we should've taken phil loadholt, william beatty, seabastian vollmer or michael johnson.
  17. incorrect punctuation, run-on sentences...come on man. highly doubtful an employer would not hire an individual due to their lack of grammer on a buffalo bills chat forum. this right here shows your maturity...or lack thereof. seriously? nobody cares about your antique boat, i am sure my regal cuddy is just as nice. i would also bet on the fact that there have been many sunsets that were better than tonight's. but, to each his own. what did you miss? not much, but with that statement, it shows you wanted to come back to add gas to the fire. this ALL shows how much you really do try to add to these posts. it also shows how you don't indulge in the "you suck" comments, or personal attacks. you are right, it IS a forum based upon use of a keyboard. however, it really has nothing to do with the english language, moreso the knowledge of football. and once again, your maturity shines with your statement, and i quote..."And, no, I'm not an amateur English teacher. I've slept with a few." hopefully your at least kidding about all the b.s. you have started here. also, i'm sure this young man would not be so silly to put "texting" lingo on a corporate document.
  18. i have had mine for about a week now (my buddy runs a game store and he got it in on Monday)...i'd say its the best game ive ever played.
  19. while you are sitting around on your ass like a dooshbag who just spent $70 on a ticket...i am having fun, rooting on my team with the rest of my fellow-fans. THAT IS WHAT A GAME IS ABOUT!
  20. damn...ditto for ALL these guys on this page/videos. especially ian johnson. (as well as coy wire). have always like ian johnson, and i hope he makes the team and becomes a decent player that sticks around. there are not many guys like these 5 in the nfl...how can one not root for these 5 players?
  21. i wish him the best. i hope he not only makes the team, but becomes a good player. i have always liked him...even considered getting a "WIRE" Falcons jersey.
  22. i would rather have him over dick jauron...i'll say that much.
  23. michael vick would be here today. rather than friday.
  24. i'll keep saying it... should have not wasted picks on byrd and levitre...and drafted michael johnson and everette brown! then maybin could play outside linebacker, moving ellison to backup. levitre will be hyped up and pan out like mccargo did. donte whitner, bryant scott, and ko simpson/george wilson...are fine safeties. byrd was not needed.
  25. biscuit or derrick? HAHAHA. is this a joke? even being a bills fan, i know to not be a silly homer. Derrick Thomas was one of the BEST EVER!
