How is this Defense FAR from good? It has been keeping us in (most) games, after being on the field 80% of the time...not to mention, dealing with injuries. I think Schobel and Maybin at OLB's, with Poz and Kawika in the middle would be a great LB corps for a 3-4. We definitely have the personnell to make the switch, we just need the depth and a coach who can make it effective.

When healthy and playing to our "potential"...we are a 5-1 team right now...I would say. However, with the injuries we have suffered and the coaching decisions being made...we are lucky to have those 2 wins. We COULD win every game from here on out...except the last 3 (NE, Indy & Atlanta).

You wanna mention against what teams and whom the OT's were he was facing? (Because they were horrendous) A player of that caliber, going against o-lines like the 'Skins and Bucs...should have had 4 sacks in each of those games. Julius Peppers is not doing so well, according to a report out of Carolina. I see he has 5 sacks this season, but 2 came against the Redskins and 2 against the Bucs. Could Cowher end up in Carolina? Carolina coach John Fox has told friends and some associates he expects to be fired once the season ends. It's not that Foxy is doing a bad coaching job; it's just that the Panthers are 0-3, and they don't appear capable of catching New Orleans and Atlanta in the South. But he's being blamed for sticking with Jake Delhomme and Julius Peppers, two high-priced stars, who aren't producing right now. If Bill Cowher is going to leave CBS, it would make sense that his former Pittsburgh boss, Dan Rooney, would try to persuade him to go to Carolina. per FOX Sports

I just read in another post that George Steinbrenner asked Ralph to hire somebody as a Head Coach once as a "FAVOR?" So, the first thing I think? When the hell is George going to return the favor? Does anybody know if these 2 have an on-going friendship or anything that could make Ralph turn to some of the wealthiest owners in sports history...and ask THEM for a "FAVOR?"

I would say that Gregg Williams, Mike Mularkey and Willis McGahee are doing quite alright for themselves. Just look at THEIR teams. (and Willis' stats) And as far as Drew Bledsoe...he was not the same QB when he got here, but he was a damn good one before his stint in Buffalo.

I heard that DT Shaun Rogers was available from Cleveland for a 3rd rounder, LB Derrick Johnson and DE/DT Glenn Dorsey from Kansas City, DE Richard Seymour from Oakland, OLB Adalius Thomas in New England and DT Chris Hovan was available from Tampa Bay... ...ALL guys who could have helped this team IMMEDIATELY! I would have traded a decent draft pick, Owens and Parrish to Kansas City for Derrick Johnson and Glenn Dorsey.

I too am a Yankees fan...however, my "savior" THIS year will be the Boston Celtics. They do not buy their championships, they have a coach who is passionate and actually coaches his guys...and they have likeable guys ALL OVER THE FLOOR...including one Kevin Garnett who really shows passion and it spreads throughout the locker room, especially to the younger guys on tha team.
