  1. I definitely agree. I have said this a couple times in the past few weeks. I think Trent Edwards could be just as good as Sanchez was this year. Considering the Jets were winning with him throwing 12-15 for 100 yards...Trent could easily do that with the right play calling, and a good o-line and a solid defense. I would say Trent is better than Zweigle Sanchez.
  2. HE led the Cardinals defense to the Super Bowl last year, given that Whisenhunt is an Offensive guy. And its not like the Cardinals' defense was stacked with talent. VERY comparable to ours. I am on board with this...maybe we could get Derrick Johnson and possibly Berry or Dockett. *I bet Dedric Ward is our Wide Receivers coach...ya heard it here 1st!
  3. GRAHAM ZUG from Penn State! I wouldn't say Hughes is a sleeper, do ya think?
  4. If you like NFL drafts heavy on juniors, and defensive linemen, this is the draft for you. (So, we can fill our D-Line needs later in the draft!) http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writ....html?eref=sihp Although I don't mind us taking a look at Clausen, and I would rather pick up 2 QB's in the later rounds, Tebow and Pike/LeFevour...I REALLY don't like who some other teams are getting (in this mock)...specifically the Dolphins and Patriots...Rolando McClain to Miami, and Sergio Kindle. I think BOTH would be STUDS in those 2 spots. Anyways...check it out and let me know what you think. I just dont put too much thought into these, for example...why would the Texans NEED a Safety with the re-emergence of Bernard Pollard? 9 - QB - Jimmy Clausen - Notre Dame - Jr. (6-3, 223lbs) There's plenty of divided opinion on Clausen and some teams would never consider him for a top 10 draft slot. In reality, given that the tandem of new coach Chan Gailey and new GM Buddy Nix aren't building with a five-year plan in mind, the Bills will probably seek a veteran quarterback like Michael Vick or Donovan McNabb in the pre-draft months and eschew selecting a first-round QB. Buffalo is desperate for help at offensive tackle, but until it signals its intentions at quarterback, we'll give them Clausen without much enthusiasm.
  5. Funny thing is, the better football is played in the south. Plain and simple. So, yeah...I WOULD rather have southerners as coaches and players.
  6. Also says Merriman could end up in Green Bay, which would suck if we lose out on him... ...Brandon Marshall could be traded QUICKLY... and TEBOW could be drafted by the PATRIOTS! (this will be very bad for us...belichick would turn him into an all-pro!) Perry might not install the Tampa-2 in NYG. Troy Smith could be coming to Buffalo for the right price. Sanchez's knee is a big problem. Jason Taylor could be a Patriot in 2010. AND IT STILL HAS "BILLS" NEXT TO GREGG WILLIAMS' NAME!!! hahaha!
  7. You have already come out in SEVERAL posts saying the EXACT same thing! Why did you feel the need to start ANOTHER post today about this?
  8. Chris Chambers. Vincent Jackson if he is cut loose, but that won't happen. (Chris Chambers and Lee Evans were high school AND college buddies, both attending Wisconsin.)
  9. It happens almost every time a new coach is hired from outside that specific organization. Parcells and the Dolphins cleaned house a couple years ago, rebuilt, and went like 11-5 or something. So yeah, it happens all the time, you just don't notice because you are a Bills fan and we are used to the same ole b.s.
  10. It says he is a "true" nose tackle. Another sign of switching to the 3-4? Another signing, that occured on the same day as Harvey, was Jason Watkins. Read about this guy...I think he could turn into a decent player. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Watkins http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/jason-watkins?id=79659
  11. Hideous. Go to the throwbacks fulltime...but, either way, the uniforms REALLY don't matter. * Shoes didn't make Michael Jordan...Jordan made shoes!
  12. That is absurd. You obviously know NOTHING about Donovan McNabb! Who DOES NOT like Donovan McNabb?
  13. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of coaches. I would rather have a coach for every player, than not enough coaches. Each and every position will have 1 or 2 guys to TEACH them. I see NOTHING wrong with this at all. How did having less coaches work out for us? (That's what I thought!)
  14. WOOT WOOT! I got 49 out of 59...would have had 50, but I mispelled Klingler. My Proof? Sporcle Quiz: Can you name the quarterbacks taken in the first round of the NFL Draft since 1983? T.r. just played and got 49 out of 59 right. This quiz has been played 119,844 times.
  15. That shows your knowledge and ability to evaluate talent...or lack thereof.
  16. Your argument is irrelevant because the difference is...his parents could afford to feed him, clothe him, shelter him and educate him. Think before you speak. As for everybody else, I am so happy to see the wide variety of opinions and thoughts. I am happy that everybody has been, for the most part, positive in their contributions to this post. I am happy this post worked out!
  17. Although I do not agree with the bold part of your statement, THAT is a little harsh and uncalled for...you have voiced some strong words here. And, THOSE I DO agree with. We have to worry about ourselves right now...we have some serious problems going on in our own country, that we need to tend to first...otherwise, we will NEVER be able to help ANYBODY, if we fail OURSELVES! I ONLY care about those children who are suffering or who were lost over there. As far as the "freely reproducing" adults over there, I could honestly care less since WE ARE LOSING AMERICANS EVERY DAY in this useless, pointless war!
  18. So, your attention span must be so small, you forgot it was called "Twitter?" Haha, just busting your chops!
  19. I agree with this point. For somebody, in that position, to say something like that...to me, just sounds selfish. And because of that statement above, that you just made, is why you are a decent human being. We need more like you. The thing is, Paul Shirley IS NOT stupid by ANY stretch of the imagination...and he did seem to do his research as well. You should never wish harm upon somebody else. That karma may come back 10-fold. But, I agree he is a jerk. I hope that is not a cheap-shot at my Mother? But, this "reproductive freedom," is that part of their culture/religion? How are you going to have this so-called "reproductive freedom" when you cannot even fend for yourself, let alone your kids? That notion of "reproductive freedom" sounds like a bad joke. Americans have the FREEDOM to do whatever they want, yet we do not donate money to alcoholics or drug addicts to help them with their problem. I have never even heard of somebody donating ANY money to help problems like those, or even to local support groups like AA and NA. Those people know what is going to happen when they hop in the hay and shag. The outcome? A suffering child. Where and when does that suffering child's freedom come into play? When he/she is an adult, if they make it that far, so they can produce children that they will not be able to fend for? Now, THAT is some bullish! I am sorry, I just don't buy that crap! And, THAT is sad, considering how we all treat eachother...not to mention killing eachother. Well, why do we need to have empathy for any other country, but our own right now? It is not like we are in the best of shape right now. WE NEED MONEY FOR OURSELVES! Our economy is crap right now, and many of our own are suffering! *Now that I have gotten some feedback, I'll say this. I am with Shirley and I am against Shirley. I believe that his point about the woman's quote, is ridiculous and selfish. But, at the same time, they are desperate and they do need help. However, I do not believe that the help provided NEEDS to be BILLIONS of dollars. Our economy needs that money for US to survive. Where would they be, or where will they be, when our country is in dire need of help? NOBODY will or would help us if it came down to it. Did ANY other country send us money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina? NOPE! Bottom line is...we have our own country to worry about. Go down and help them re-establish their culture and environment, but donating BILLIONS of dollars to them, for God knows what...sounds like an attempt to just make our country as a whole look better. It is also an opportunity for celebrities and big-wigs to donate and make themselves look good in the public eye. Sure, I will throw $10 to the relief effort through a text message...but $1 MILLION is better off served being spent in our economy to help ourselves out, in what is being called a "depression!" Quite "depressing", if you ask me. Thank you for having an open-mind about this. I agree with you 100%!
  20. I find it amusing that he tries to portray this as if we could have had ALL those guys. Some of them were not "needs" at that point in time either. But, I just really get a kick out of the fact that this idiot makes it sound like ALL of those guys "could have been" ours. For example...we could have either had Nnamdi Asomugha OR Dallas Clark. NOT both of them, like he makes it sound. And did anybody else notice that he claims we got Mike Williams, JP Losman AND Lee Evans ALL in the 1st round of 2004? That is not correct...or did I miss something? (This newspaper reporter, "Sully", sounds like quite the D double O ess H - BAG!
