  1. And again...Sam Bradford will be better for us than McNabb?
  2. I mentioned this a couple weeks ago...he would fit in Gailey's scheme...but I dont want him as our QB, but moreso a "slash" type player (ala Brad Smith). We need a player like that on this team!
  3. He probably still will be in the end of the 1st....the kid is a stud with a brain... its not often you find somebody like that, let alone a football player!
  4. If Bradford goes to Cleveland at 7 and we take Buluga at 9...how will Bradford take a Leinart-like freefall? I agree Seymour might probably be a Buffalo Bill. Edwards coached him at Georgia with Stroud, and what better way to start up your 3-4 than with Seymour and Stroud as your DE's? Tyler Thigpen as the QB of THE FUTURE? LOL. Doubtful...maybe the stopgap QB for a year while we wait for Mallett or Locker!
  5. Hmmm...I did not know that! I just thought...I could really see him being a get-in-your-face type guy. A fiery and passionate coach. I am happy to see he IS actually giving it a shot! Thanks for the heads up!
  6. I think it is an AWESOME article! SPOT ON! Professional sports IS A BUSINESS...but it means more to the people in that community than most people realize. I believe Ralph owes us SOMETHING, but I think he has tried to put a plan in motion with this new regime, and we just have to TRY and trust Ralph with what he has been doing lately. If this regime fails, Ralph owes us at least a promise to put the team in the hands of somebody who will keep the Bills in WNY.
  7. I was thinking that too...but... Tasker is probably happy in the both and doing his analyst thing, and Moulds has been getting into some trouble lately, hasn't he?
  8. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/328147-...xpect-to-happen *I would love to get Ernie Sims if the Lions release him! He would bring some needed "swagger" to our defense, like Vilma brought to the Saints defense. The NFL's Biggest Cuts and Trades You Can Expect to Happen By: Andy Auger, a contributor @ Bleacherreport.com Even in an uncapped year you are going to see a financial line drawn; some teams will be seeing the free spending opportunity to jettison unhappy players. Other teams will be looking to offload high salary figures to willing takers with the added financial flexibility. We could easily see a guard market that might pay eventual free agent Logan Mankins a figure around $10 million if no CBA is reached by 2011. Teams will see this as an opportunity to cut players at whim and woe with a “cap penalty” that won’t have any true bearing on their ability to add desired players. It will be much more reminiscent of baseball. The Lions, Chiefs, Vikings, Rams, Jaguars, and Bills are about to get bullied by the big spenders. The Patriots, Redskins, Raiders, Eagles, Saints, Colts, Cowboys, Giants, Jets, Buccaneers, and 49ers are all flush with cash. They figure to be the NFL version of the Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, etc. in a distorted free agency and trade market. In an uncapped year, the market will see more big names traded then usual under the former CBA. First off, I don't believe the comparison to Major League Baseball. Teams will not take on TOO MANY players this Free Agency, knowing the CBA might get fixed, and they will then be on the hook for those salaries. I expect Free Agency to be just the same, except with some names we wouldn't expect, like Ladainian Tomlinson. Now, I think we will be just fine, the Bills that is. Ralph has money, we have plenty of "cap" money available that could be used. I expect us to make a couple big moves, along with the moves we are used to, to strengthen depth. However, we have different talent evaluators now, and this could prove to be HUGE in the success of this new regime. With our new D.C., Richard Seymour sounds more and more like an option. He IS a free agent, and Edwards coached him AND Stroud at Georgia. Seymour and Stroud would be GREAT DE's in a 3-4, then we could find somebody else in FA, Wilfork?, or draft somebody like Terrance Cody. I expect this offseason to be the best we have had in a long...long...long...time. Here's to...
  9. John Gamble enters his 16th season with the Dolphins and the fourth in his current post as Director of Player Development In his role, Gamble assists players in a variety of areas off the field, while also helping the players in the transition process both into and out of the NFL through continuing education, financial education and dealing with family matters through player programs. Hopefully he will be a mentor for guys like Lynch and Whitner. I think this was a GREAT pickup for the Bills!
  10. I guess you guys missed those parts? What about Ruben Brown as an O-Line coach? Larry Centers? Sammy Morris?
  11. HAHAHA...SERIOUSLY? Did you look at the 7th picture down? She is probably the best looking girl on that "team," and they are just about ALL hot!
  12. I was gonna say she looks like my friend Jamie's roomie from Fredonia. I used to go stay with Jamie for "FredFest" every year...I'm wondering if you 2 would know Jamie too...but I would rather not put her last name on here. Jamie "G"...she is a VERY TALL italian chick from Victor, NY. Cheerleader. Idk how else to describe her... I will always remember how HOT Webster cheerleaders were in High School when my sister was coaching...all us football/hockey players would go to the competitions...Aquinas, Webster and Hilton had THE HOTTEST girls! Hands down!
  13. I have been looking for a list, but failed to come up with one... But, it seems as if there are more and more ex-NFL players becoming coaches in the league. I got thinking about this because I saw an article about Issac Bruce interested in becoming WR's coach of the Rams. There is also an article about Bill Romanowski interviewing to become the strength and conditioning coach of the Redskins. What ex-Buffalo Bills player(s) in the past, let's say 10 years...can you see becoming a coach in the NFL? Obviously Alex Van Pelt has accomplished this, but I am looking for guys who are NOT coaches YET? I will start off with Ross Tucker, Sam Gash, Coy Wire and George Wilson.
  14. He was not an "abuser." His was diagnosed as dependent. This is something totally different. He did not drink socially. He was not able to do a line of blow, once, and not go back. He became addicted to these habits, which led to legal problems. When you have legal problems due to using, that is when you are no longer an abuser. It is a different level, it is a disease. The disease of addiction is horrible. People suffer from this, and for many, it is not within their own control. Anthony Hargrove was/is a perfect example of this. I can only imagine the internal demons he faced. I feel for the guy... Very happy to see he has defeated those demons, for now, and is doing well in life. I just hope he understands it is a life long batte. Once it's there, it never goes away. The success rate of rehabilitation/treatment today is below 10%. That is sad. (*And before you start arguing with me about this, please understand that I have been "there." I am also 1 internship and a CASAC exam away from being qualified to counsel/teach in NY state.)
  15. I worked a concert once and got to meet Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent (The Zombies), Felix Cavliere's Rascals, Flo and Eddie with The Turtles, Country Joe McDonald, Lovin' Spoonful, Mountain, Canned Heat, Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels, Rare Earth and a bunch of others...it was pretty sweet. They honestly were great and they rocked, especially Argent and Blunstone! And the thing is, I am only 27 years old... But, I could see a big country star like Chesney, Swift or Underwood next year at Jerry's World. It took Ralph how long? Like, 4 years...to whip it? LOL. Nice work!
  16. Kinda like when I hop in the sack with my girl, in my Buffalo Bills thong. It's a pair of "MR. HAPPYFACE" undies...and it is Ralph's face and my hee-haw is his nose.
  17. Yuck! But, still better than Tyler Pigpen or Fitzpatrick!
  18. I agree we should take Cody at #41 if he is there... ...but, why did you feel the need to start ANOTHER thread on the same topic already being discussed in 2092424 other posts? Is it because Marty Brodeur sucks? RYAN MILLER <---
  19. I have been calling for him for a couple months now...and I will continue to call for him until he is a Buffalo Bill! I love the kid. Think he will be very good, at several positions. We NEED a player like this! Look at what the Jets do with Brad Smith...I would love to have say, if not McCluster, maybe Jarrett Brown, Armanti Edwards, Levi Brown, Ryan Perrilloux or Patrick Pinkney? A player who will not cut it as a QB in the NFL, but could be used as a "Slash" player as a Wildcat QB/RB, a WR, KR/PR...Brad Smith! Is Georgia Tech's scrambling QB coming out this year? That would be a reasonable option for us. Hey Robot? Who are the best scramblers this year, who won't be a QB in the NFL...who is this year's Brad Smith???
