  1. Just curious what the point of this is? It's not going to make a damn bit of a difference who you "grab" for us...I am worried about who Buddy and Chan will "grab" for us!? But honestly...what is the point in this? Who are you? Are you a bunch of friends who do this for fun?
  2. Yes sir! I am AMERICAN! LOL. Crosby has surpassed all of those I HATE in professional sports. Since Lebron, Kobe, Bryan Cox, Rodney Harrison, Dolphins, Patriots, Maple Leafs, Bruins, Lakers, Red Sox...and SO MANY MORE...that REALLY shows how much I despise Crosby! He is a little whiney B word and I hope Ovechkin breaks his face when they meet again.
  3. F$$K you and all of Canada! Dirty Canucks! Crosby sucks and I wish he got his face beat in!
  4. I also don't see why we're assuming that we cannot find a competent RT out of what we already have in Bell, Meredith and Watkins. Incognito could also play RT if we decide to stick with Hangartner at C, with Levitre and Wood on each side of him. Rookie LT - Levitre - Hangartner - Wood - Incognito Rookie LT - Levitre - Wood - Incognito - Bell/Meredith/Watkins We need to fill other needs...we can find a decent OT out of what we already have.
  5. Williams from SD might be available... http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/features/ru...date%3d20100226
  6. He throws a pretty nice ball. Is agile, quick and has speed. Pretty good footwork. Nice release and zip on the ball. I like him. If not Vick or Young 2.0, then certainly Brad Smith 2.0...and I have been calling for that for quite some time now. I bet he would fit perfectly in Gailey's offense, especially if Vick, McNabb and Campbell have been mentioned.
  7. He sounds like the perfect compliment to Evans. If he falls to us in the 2nd, or definitely the 3rd, Gailey WILL pull the trigger. Especially after letting Reed and Owens walk. I bet Parrish is not around very long either.
  8. We will be alright. I can see us grabbing, like I have said here a long time ago, a guy like Chris Chambers. I also see us going after the WR that Gailey recruited and coached at Georgia Tech, Demaryius Thomas. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=108879 (also see below...) I was thinking this above, when I mentioned Gailey's recruiting. I can't stop myself from thinking that maybe Gailey recruited, or at least sent a scout team to get video tape, of Stevie Johnson and James Hardy. Maybe not so much Johnson, as he is from California, but Hardy is from Indiana. Either way, I am sure Gailey has seen enough of both, to figure out if they have talent or not. It didn't take us long to notice Johnson. I believe Hardy has "it", but I just don't know if he wants "it." We'll see soon enough I suppose. Evans - Hardy - Chambers - Johnson - Parrish/Thomas
  9. Anybody around here know anything about this injury? How bad is it? How long is the recovery process? What other players have had this injury? What other wide receivers have had this injury? Doctor...Doctor...Hello?
  10. Beaten him out in what way? Lynch did NOT play or practice. Jackson got hot while being GIVEN the opportunity to start while Lynch sat out. The coaching staff stuck with him because he was their best chance to win, because Lynch had not been playing OR practicing and Jackson was the only other option. So, by game 4, yes, Jackson had been playing good enough to warrant the starting job. However, I am talking about the beginning of the season. Fred Jackson did not EARN the starting job through training camp, but when he got the chance, he earned it and proved his worth...by week 4, due to Lynch not being around. I am NOT knocking Jackson, I love the guy, think he is a great player. I have ALWAYS rooted for him, coming from D-3 Coe college. However, I think Lynch is the better running back. He lost his job due to suspension, just like somebody losing their job to an injury. In these cases, the backup (Jackson), did not EARN the starting job.
  11. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...2f-83b5b7f04568 Tech wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (6’3” 225) was widely considered a late first-round pick, but that is up in the air after he broke his foot last week while training. It’s unclear if Thomas will be healthy soon enough to run and test before the draft at this point, but even if he cannot he’s still considered a second-round prospect as he was running times of 4.38 prior to the injury and compiling 46 catches for 1,154 yards (25.1 avg.) and eight touchdowns in his final collegiate season. If we trade anybody and receive a 2nd round pick as compensation, or if Thomas slips down towards the 3rd round...I really would not mind bringing this kid in. He sounds like the next Owens or Moss. Great size and speed. Also seems as if he has excellent hands. The 25.1 avg. also tells me he can get great seperation and yards after the catch as well. I would think a WR trio of Thomas, Hardy and Johnson, could develop into a solid unit.
  12. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine-featured-participants Also from combine interviews... I would be fine with drafting any of these guys...I think they ALL interviewed phenomenally well. http://www.denverbroncos.com/page.php?id=3...ear=&month= OT - Indiana - Roger Saffold TE - Alabama - Colin Peek OT - Oklahoma State - Russell Okung C/OG - J.D. Walton - Baylor TE/WR - Anthony McCoy - USC TE - Rob Gronkowski - Arizona *(Bolded players are who I would want most) And of course...I dont care what anybody else here thinks...but I think Tebow will be a winner. I hope he does well and goes to a decent team that can use him properly and put him in position to succeed...just hope its not the Dolphins or Patriots. http://www.denverbroncos.com/page.php?id=3...ear=&month=
  13. Levi Brown from Troy is my QB to watch out for. http://www2.dothaneagle.com/dea/Sports/col...he_year/114710/ http://espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=172944 http://www.troytrojans.com/ViewArticle.dbm...;ATCLID=1147126
  14. I just said that a couple days ago...I think that would be an AWESOME safety tandem. I have been a Myron Rolle fan since he came out of High School in New Jersey. I believe the hype of that class was Rolle, Videl Hazleton and Percy Harvin. Hazleton went to USC and was their leading receiver in 2007. After not being used much in '08, he transferred to Cincinnati. I don't think he is eligible for the draft this year...but watch out for his name in year's to come. I think he will be a very good receiver and probably a 1st round pick.
  15. Whom I would take in a second as a DE in our new 3-4 scheme. It has been said, Grant will be allowed to walk.
  16. People...Fred Jackson was the starter from day 1 because Marshawn Lynch could not play! Do you REALLY think if Lynch was not suspended that Jackson would have started opening day? Not a chance. Being "beat out" would mean that there was a fair competition at RB in training camp, and Jackson played better than Lynch and fairly took the job. That was not the case. Again...Jackson won the starting job by default, due to Lynch's suspension.
  17. I dont understand why people are so intrigued by a picture of a 360 pound defensive tackle, that depicts him as fat? Do you people think Ted Washington was skinny? Sam Adams? Kevin Williams? Vince Wilfork? Tommie Harris? I doubt any of those guys look any better with his shirt off. NEWSFLASH...Defensive tackles are supposed to be fat!
  18. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5547
  19. I wish we could work out a trade that includes Lynch and some other players/picks...to get any or a couple of the following...Sproles, Merriman, V. Jackson, McNeil and/or J. Williams. *I will remind people, I am a Lynch fan and believe he is our undisputed starting RB. However, I like Fred and think he could handle the load for another 2 years (Lynch - another 8) and EVERY single one of those San Diego names I mentioned, would immediately come in and start.
  20. The 3-4 Defense is made up of four defensive backs. Two cornerbacks and two safetys (one free safety and the other strong safety). The two cornerbacks are responsible for jamming the recievers they cover within five yards of the reciever's route, disrupting the offensive play. The free safety roams free (hence the name) in the backfield looking to stop the deep pass while the strong safety is responsible for locking on the running back. Whitner (SS) and Byrd (FS) will be a Top-5 Safety tandem in the league. The only player I would replace Whitner with is, Taylor Mays.
  21. Please stop posting. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=108811 http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=108813 2 Tebow threads and 2 T.O. threads...couldn't have been put together to form 1 post? The fact you wanna draft Tebow and sign a LT to protect him, really shows your intelligence.
  22. If we are going to take Tebow...LT is not a priority...our priority now shifts to RT. Tebow is left handed, making his blindside the RT.
