  1. That just sums up as...the draft is a crapshoot. You can find a QB anywhere, really...just have to find the right one, for your system and weather conditions, and build around him...including playmakers, a stout O-Line with the right blocking scheme...and a GOOD coaching staff, that stays INTACT for more than a couple years. Good research though...good idea too...thank you!
  2. HAHAHAHA...LOL!!!!! That was fukkin AWESOME!!! However...I would still take him for a year or 2...he is a football player...a "baller." He has more sacks in the last 2-3 years, than our WHOLE D-Line combined!
  3. Wow...and somebody called me a homophobe and wanted to ban me because I called somebody, who was insulting me, a fag. Aren't you supposed to set an example on here...being a "moderator" and all? Don't get me wrong, I totally agree, 100%, with you on this topic. I am a supporter of Trent Edwards. I ran J.P. outta town with the rest of ya...and I think Trent CAN cut it for us, if we build around and IN FRONT of him. But, man...Simon? Isn't this a little overboard brother? I hope, for your sake, nobody takes offense to this. I am not trying to piss you off or start any **** here...but that was a little uncalled for...eh? I hope you have a better day today...
  4. Actually...if you look at those threads...I started 2 of them, 3 months apart...yes, I should have just added the 2nd to the 1st, but it was different information and a different topic. And if you look a little closer...I was the first to bring the topic up! I was not trying to "take credit for it," although it was my idea first...even back when he came into the supplementary draft, I said we should get him. I was simply stating, what EVERYBODY says ALL THE TIME..."USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION." There were already FIVE posts started about Jared Gaither...why start another? Just like ALL the McNabb threads...MOST of them got CLOSED! Nice try though !@#$!
  5. NEVERGIVEUP... Any idea if we are targeting Terrance Cody? I know Rex Ryan and the Jets are...and that tells me that he is going to be a good player. Wasn't it Rex who drafted Ngata, or was that a different D.C. in Baltimore? We REALLY NEED this guy! Big boobs and everything!
  6. ahhh man...i just got "RICK ROLLED!" that was good judman...very well set-up!
  7. Andy Reid and Desean Jackson chest bumping....what does that have to do with cursing?
  8. Use the search function...I have touched on this SEVERAL times...and I got flamed for it. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...l=jared+gaither http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...l=jared+gaither http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...l=jared+gaither http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...l=jared+gaither http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...l=jared+gaither *So there is 5, count 'em...FIVE...threads already started about this topic, Jared Gaither. Glad YOU came up with a NEW topic to start a new thread about... (Mods...close this thread?)
  9. Bottom line...? We NEED to draft Terrance Cody...even if we have to trade back into the end of the 1st to get him. I will NOT be happy if the Jets, Patriots or Dolphins end up with him...I have a feeling he will be a game-changer. You don't play for Nick Saban if you are THAT out of shape and cannot produce...this guy has "it" as a 3-4 NT.
  10. That just got me thinking...whatever happened to Roosevelt Colvin? He was a hot prospect free-agent that we looked at when he left the Bears...then he joined the Patriots where he had a couple good years... Anybody know what happened to this guy? He literally fell off the face of the earth...I have heard NOTHING about him since.
  11. Um, yeah...I was born in '82...so I have NO clue what you are talking about! haha. It is nice to find things like that though, I'll give ya that.
  12. Yes, you are right...I said "WE." Syracuse is my team. I used to go to camp there EVERY summer. Met Bernie Fine and Jimmy Boeheim. Actually, I had many conversations with them during our down time at camp. Played Mike Hopkins 1 on 1, same with Jason Cipolla, Lazarus Sims and John Wallace. Just as WE all talk about the Bills and Sabres, referring to "WE." And no, if Onuaku was playing...WE would have WON that game. I take NOTHING away from Butler, they are a good team...however, Syracuse was the better team this year...just not tonight, because WE were missing OUR most dominant force in the paint. Not to mention...'Cuse had 19 turnovers and Kris Joseph only had 6 points. That was HUGE. Syracuse LOST this game...Butler did not WIN it. Don't come on here for the sake of starting an argument...I will refer to MY TEAMS however the !@#$ I want. Plus, it's not like my assessment of what Syracuse did wrong, IS wrong...I am completely on point. Nice try!
  13. If he can't throw well in shorts, in perfect weather...he sure as hell is not going to be able to throw in pads, with the weather that comes through Buffalo and the winds that the Ralph sees throughout the season. I'll pass.
  14. I feel the same way...I am shocked and severely depressed about this. It was a VERY special season, for a VERY special team. I think Rick Jackson and Scoop Jardine blew the game at the end. If Jackson had gotten that loose ball and got the bucket, we would have been down by one possession, and then Scoop was not protecting the ball good enough at the end. Not to mention, we were taking hopeless shots in the 2nd half that we did not need, especially in the last three minutes. Bottom line is...we did not have A.O. and that REALLY put a damper on this game. Nobody could stop their big men, most notably Gordon Hayward, or whatever his name is. If only Paul Harris and Eric Devendorf came back for another season...instead they opted to NOT get drafted. Nothing new for Upstate New Yorkers. Same ole song and dance..."Maybe next year," as we like to say!
  15. 'Bout time...thank you Lord! I'll always be a Peters fan. Always have been, I've said it here LONG before this.
  16. I agree. I think we should sign a couple veterans to the minimum, on a 1-year deal, and let them all compete. Draft a QB this year, and groom him for the future...most likely, next season. 1 or 2 of these Vets: Charlie Batch, Jeff Garcia, Todd Collins, Mark Brunell, Chris Simms and Daunte Culpepper. Trade a 5th to the Ravens for Troy Smith. Draft somebody in the 2nd-4th round...or later if somebody like Pike or McCoy fall. There are a lot of other QB's I would take a look at in the later rounds of this years draft. If we go QB in the 2nd or 3rd, I would take Tebow or Jarrett Brown. Let ALL these guys compete in training camp. Keep the 3 best guys...let the best QB start the season.
  17. No kidding... He was runner up as Rookie of the year to Peterson. He is a very good running back who is on a ****ty team, with no passing game and a horrendous offensive line. Not to mention he played for coaches in Jauron and Fewell who player their favorites. Fred Jackson only got that starting job because Lynch got suspended.
  18. Thanks...I saw him throughout the season a couple times, then drafted him in Madden. No I dont want to draft him because he is good in Madden, I put no thought into skill compared to Madden, like some do. However, when I did draft him, I decided to look him up and came up with that picture... And this is why I like him and the picture of him. I think we could use a couple guys like this...he and Incognito would have really brought the toughness and the will to impose fear in defenders, to our offensive line. I would take a chance on him and his penalties...that can be corrected, as can his stance/leverage and balance.

Jabar Gafney *VS* BRUUUUUUCE SMITH?!!? I thought it was some kind of trick question.
  20. Learned how to "swing his sword" from Mike Leach...another big ugly! Check this dude out...our o-line could use some of this... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3230/299850..._38713aa859.jpg Richie Incog...who? Say hello to BRANDON CARTER...a massive, massive physical specimen!
  21. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3213/283779..._fa34524fe3.jpg http://www.gatorcountry.com/images/uploads...2210_TCasey.jpg I'd love to get (another) SPIKES on this team!!! Dude looks vicious!
  22. Wow, that yacht is insane! I would love to live the life of 1 of these people, just for 1 day...ya think it's true that money can't buy happiness and all these people have problems, get stressed and even depressed, like the rest of us "average" people???
