Pretty self-explanatory.
When he was a kid growing up in North Buffalo, the people of Kenmore treated he and his friends like filth if they entered into Kenmore, being from North Buffalo.
The bus company would charge him an extra five cents to cross into Kenmore from North Buffalo...and another five cents on the way back.
Makes sense to me.

Should I turn in my season tickets if I don't know who Lydell Sargaent is?
Being a Nittany Lion fan...I have been wanting to say, since we signed him as an UDFA, that I think he could be a guy that could take a couple people by surprise.
He showed that in limited time last year...same with Cary Harris.
One thing is for sure, these coaches are gonna have a hard time figuring out how many, and which DB's to keep.

Brown was injured last year. Bushrod started most of the season in his place. Prior to that Brown was in the ProBowl in 06 and 08, FWIW. The reason Brown is on the block is cuz NO won the Superbowl without him, and he is soon to be up for a big contract. As an interesting side note, he's not presently listed on the NO Saints roster on ESPN... nor is Gaither currently listed on BAL's roster on ESPN. Nor is either player listed on their current team's roster on either official team website.
I believe that is because they are both restricted free agents who have not yet signed their tenders.

This team is awful, top to bottom, so one of our QB plays well and we get a LT from someone else and we're competitive....based on what?
We have no idea if this coaching staff knows what they are doing. We have no WR to speak of. We have 1 football and 3 RB fighting for it, we have a brand new defensive skeem coming in and do we have the personal to actually run the 3-4. Can our OLB actually play the position since they were all DE in a 4-3? So many questions and a what if leads to, can we make the playoffs?
The real question is can we prevent yet another losing season? Can we win a game within our division? Can we play in a meaningful game come November, let alone December. And lastly, does anyone really think the Bills will trade for Gaither? If we do, I bet we finish with one of the 3 worst records in the league and wasted a super high 2nd rounder.
Offer a 4th in 2011 and a 3rd in 2012 that can be upgraded to a 2nd.
I am not too sure if we have the PERSONAL to run the 3-4 SKEEM, but we have made a solid effort to go out and get the right PERSONNEL to run the 3-4 SCHEME!

Bills RCB Leodis McKelvin is reportedly unavailable for a potential Jared Gaither trade.
Rumors of a Gaither-to-Buffalo trade persist. Adam Schefter shot down a report of a second-rounder going to Baltimore, and we've also seen one scenario that has Ashton Youboty going to the Ravens. McKelvin, however, is staying put.

Chris Mortensen, for instance, is another friend -- a man who went out of his way at a time when my father was near death to call me regularly to see how he was doing. I remember one of the first times he called and asked what my father's name was. I didn't know why he wanted to know, but I told him. He said "OK, because I want to mention him in my prayers tonight." That's the kind of guy Mort is. You may disagree with what he writes or how he covers the team, but the venom I read on here about him being a piece of [insert expletive here] makes my blood boil. The same goes with Jerry Sullivan, another close friend. People here can't or won't separate the reporter from the person, coverage from character. It's juvenile and gets to be too much.
I want to send my condolences to you for losing your Father. I just lost mine a 2 years ago. I hope you have found peace within yourself to know he is in a better place. I am only 27, but I have been struggling since I lost my Dad.
Now...as far as Mort goes, I understand YOUR stance. However, what do you expect us to do, or how do you expect us to act, when ALL the guy does is bash our beloved, hometown NFL football team??? I have NEVER heard him say ONE good thing about the Buffalo Bills, the owner Ralph Wilson, the players, the city, and certainly the front office (well since they got rid of his little buddy Tommy D.)...he has NEVER said anything positive about us.
So, because you have an allegiance to him and he is so nice to you, and you come here to offer us your opinions and information...that means we have to be nice to Mort and love the guy?

As much as I'd love to see Luck with the Bills, the only way that happens is if the Bills have the worst record in the league. I really can't see that happening, do you?

I am not saying I do or do not want this to happen. I am not saying I do think or don't think this will happen. I am not saying it is a good idea or not a good idea...I was simply pointint out the article.
I don't think, nor do I want us to be that bad...no matter who is headlining the '11 draft. However, if we end up going into the last few weeks at the rate where we can only end up with a couple/few wins...I say tank the rest of the season.

Damn! The Bills shoulda grabbed this guy last season - he'll be an All-Pro in w/in 3 years.Harrell was coached by one of the most brilliant offensive college coaches UNEMPLOYED today.
Hear me now, believe me later - Harrell will be one of the greats, and the Bills will rue their decision to pass him over.
From a starting QB point of view, I would take Harrell over Edwards!
Harrell will never be more than a 3rd string QB in the NFL, if he makes it as anything at all...Schit, Tim Tebow will be more or an NFL QB than Graham Harrell. I will bet my first-born child on it!

Schouman is tendered at $1.68M and 2nd round compensation. WTF? What has he done to deserve that consideration? Obviously he's highly thought of to do that
But, not only has he demonstrated that he's as brittle as ribbon candy...at least playing inside. At 6'2" and 223 lbs., no way he can physically survive at TE in this league. No freakin way. He's got to be the lightest TE in the league.
Surely the Bills don't believe he's a TE, do they? Do they have plans to move him outside to WR, perhaps. Based on Nix and Gailey's comments on their size preferences at wr, Schouman would fit their model. If he has enough speed and quickness to move outside, he'd be a formidable blocking wr and maybe even a good possession type wr.
What other explanation could there be than he's moving outside?
I doubt he would be moved outside to a WR, I don't think he is nearly fast enough.
However, I certainly think that he could add 10-15 lbs. and play a FB/H-Back type of role like Chris Cooley.

Lynch is just as good of a receiver as Jackson. Lynch had 47 for 300 in 2008, and Jackson had 46 for 371 last year. Marshawn's biggest weakness is picking up the blitz (at least on the field).That's just what you saw last year, he was disengaged. I'm not defending him as a person, but as a player he can flat out play. He was on the verge of stardom after the 2008 season.EXACTLY!

If kids are coming here, telling them that grammar does not matter is pretty pathetic as well.Either way you look at it...as a few know, I can speak from experience. It is a strong, euphoric substance. It helps if prescribed for pain. It is over-prescribed, making it too easily available...and it is EXTREMELY addictive.
It ruins lives. Damn near led to me ruining mine.
Breaking my back, led to one thing and then another...and I was off and running. It opened the gate to way more powerful stuff. All of this stuff can severly hurt you, and can result in death. Vicodin is synthetic Heroin. Same as Oxy-Contin and Percocet. It is all VERY addictive and withdrawaling from this stuff can lead to serious damage or possibly death. All of it is the same schit as Heroin. You will become addicted and dependent...and you will die.
I do not condone the use of this stuff. I suffer from serious back problems, from breaking my back and I take NOTHING for it. I have seen what this stuff can do. You WILL become addicted and it will lead to jails, institutions or death.
I am open to talking about this, to an extent, because I want to try and steer people clear of the road I traveled. I want to prevent young kids, high schoolers, college kids...from using this. Don't even experiment with it. It is poison.
(My intent was not to offend anybody...I hope that my voice is heard LOUDLY when it comes to stuff like THIS.)
PS. I could care less what anybody thinks of ME because of MY PAST...I have gotten myself clean and am on the right path. Do not judge Me, you have no reason to judge Me. It you want to judge Me, look at the man in the mirror first and think twice about what to say. I try to do this for a good cause. I want people to learn from my mistakes. Who knows, I may save somebody's life? I also go to college for Chemical Dependency Counseling and I am 1 semester away from getting my C.A.S.A.C., which is my certification to counsel in New York state. Just like a teaching license or whatever.

Jason Peters couldn't carry Walter Jones' jock. Ridiculous to draw even the most remote comparison.
He is still the best OT I have seen on the BUFFALO BILLS' roster in a very, very, very LONG time!
Probably the best O-Linemen we have had in 10 years!

I think that Gailey is siting back and looking at his weapons with a big smile! With Spiller and Jackson as a one two punch the team has unlimitted possiblities. T.O. was OK last year but I think our offense was predictable because once Lynch came back there was no screen option unless Fred was in the backfield! Face it Lynch is not a good receiver and that is his biggest weakness. With two backs that can catch I think the tight end routes will be open all day! Much like it was at the beginning of last year before Lynch came back and had to get his touches. I think this will free up Nelson who is a great talent. I say 60 catches 10 TD's!!!

In 2008, Marshawn Lynch had 47 catches...3rd on the team, 10 ahead of Jackson and only 16 behind Lee Evans, our $9 million dollar starting WR. Also, Lynch caught a TD pass...Jackson did not!
So, REALLY? He can't catch and that's his biggest weakness?
That is all they talked about when Lynch came out, he was an all-around back...could catch and run!

I would like to see those stats compared to Ogden or Matthews or any of the top OT's throughout the last 20 years or so...I wonder how his stats compare to Hall of Famers. Obviously he IS going to Canton...
