  1. Miami makes alot sense if they can move Xavien Howard. -Familiarity with Flores and perfect fit for their defense. -Miami has plenty of draft picks so they will not balk at trading draft capital. -If they can move Howard, they will have more than enough cap space for an extension.
  2. I think if we had a normal off-season, he probably is cut, but they had no legitimate backup after Addison and Hughes and I don't think they wanted to count on inexperienced guys in Epenesa and Johnson as the main reserves.
  3. Looks like at the very least, he will be getting cut. Money wise, there is no difference between trading him and cutting him at this point and not being able to trade him would in no way prevent us from making a move somewhere else.
  4. Interestingly, both the 09 Chargers and 03 Titans went 13-3 and 12-4, respectively, and both had middle of the pack defenses those seasons. They both featured aging #1 RBs with no real option behind them which is a bit different than our situation. Those teams also both lost in the divisional round of the playoffs.
  5. Pretty much agree with this. Get a top FA RT and watch this OL really become a strength of the team. Also allows you to put Ford inside where he belongs and will have a better impact. LT - Dawkins LG - Spain (think he comes in closer to $8 mil/yr) C - Morse RG - Ford v Feliciano RT - Daryl Williams (don't know if I want to pay Conklin $15 mil)
  6. Texans have bungled this player's development a bit though and he's been playing out of position most of his time there. IMO he'd be a perfect scheme fit here in McDermott's - a more athletic Greg Hardy(minus the automatic weapons). Plus he can slot inside on 3rd down and would alleviate the need to draft a penetrating DT. We have ample cap space this year and next. A swap of firsts, plus whatever else to even it out still let's you get a premier offensive player in this draft
  7. Hunt - 3rd round pick Bell - 2nd round pick Kamara - 4th round Smith- 22nd overall (early 90s, RBs viewed differently) Thanks for verifying my point that he'll be there in the 2nd round
  8. 4.6 at your pro day. Yikes. He might be there at 40
  9. I thought Irving quit football? I hope they sign Ziggy Ansah. Also like Collins, ASJ, and Jernigan. Derrick Morgan, too
  10. The only ones that come to mind then: Paradis going back to Broncos Zdarius Smith back to Ravens
  11. Even with all the moves, bills still have $50 Mill left in space for this year and ~$100 Mill for next season
  12. Browns signed Perriman before the Beckham trade and he wants out of his deal now
  13. Not Beasley. He's already been pretty active on social media
  14. Why? By all accounts, he's played more on the left side and is more successful there. Dawkins struggled last season and if we are moving to a more power run scheme/vertical passing then I doubt Dawkins is the ideal guy to play that style at LT.
  15. Wonder if he can play LT short term while they groom a rookie on right side and kick Dawkins inside.
  16. Perfect fit for this D
  17. Short term deal, alot guaranteed. Not really a big deal for the Bills or Jets because they are paying QBs nothing. And the Bills are paying WRs nothing. If they have assessed that no WR of consequence wants to sign here, it kinda does make sense to grab Bell on a short term big money deal to help protect your young QB. Ask yourself this: if they have been told that they are out WRs Williams and Tate, and there are no options in a trade, would you rather pay Bell $15 Mill or donte moncrief? Are we better with adding a Bell and then a rookie WR like Metcalf at 9 or signing a mid level WR and drafting a RB in rounds 3/4?
  18. This move makes alot sense and the Bills can afford to pay him big money in the short term because they are paying Jones and Foster almost nothing. Foster in particular is under Bills control for the next two years at least for almost nothing. The Bills also don't have any polished route runners/short yardage WRs on the roster. Give him 5 yrs, 50 mil, and leave yourself a way out after 2-3 years
  19. Would rather sign RT Williams, G Lang, and trade back in the draft and take Garret Bradbury. I wouldn't put it past Beane to be driving up the price for the Jets. They signed Long, who can play center short term if they don't land one of the two big centers.
  20. If I recall correctly, there was a big-time rumor that Ralph had offered Shanahan a very large contract after he fired Jauron. It would have been the same deal that he ended up getting with the Redskins.
  21. Trade back and draft both Iowa TEs Noah Fant and TJ Hockenson
  22. I like this for them if true. Will depend on what kind of staff he can build.
  23. There are good ST coaches available. Fired ATL coach Keith Armstrong MIA ST coach Darren Rizzi
  24. What offensive lineman contract that was signed last off-season would have liked us to do? Paradis would have required a 2nd round pick going to DEN.
  25. He was never able to get the same results with the new rule changes to kickoffs.
