Hire him. That's the guy I want above all others, and he might actually be willing to come here (though one of the other teams will probably snatch him up after this season).

I basically agree with you. The players should have more pride than to allow that game to happen, and I really blame the players more than the coaches. But DJ has the attitude of "let's try real hard" and I think to win in the NFL you have to be near psychotic-obsessive. Like "I don't care if I won't be able to walk when I'm 50, I have to put my body on the line because we're not losing!". Kinda sad, but that is why they are paid so well. But if you can collect millions and just kinda coast through your career, you end up a Bill, or a Brown, or a Lion. I actually think the players COLLECTIVELY have to pressure each other (even more so than the coaches) to go all out. As in "hey man, I'm out there losing teeth and brain cells while you coast through the plays. That has to change or you will not enjoy your time with this team. Ain't that right guys?". There have to be high standards set for the team by both the coaches and the players.

That is one of the greatest moments in NFL history. And yes, i would feel better if a Bills coach would come out and say what they believe. I don't consider Mora to be "throwing someone under the bus", and I'm not a "we need a get in their face coach" type fan. I just think he is giving an accurate and paassionate assessment.

I don't think he is a small time hack. I think he has a huge audience. That's the problem. It would give him opportunities to leverage the NFL, and they don't want to let him in just so he can use them for a platform. No not a platform for his political views, but as a way to promote himself (make money).

The reason the NFL doesn't want Rush Limbaugh to be an owner isn't because of "racial" reasons (at least not primarily). It is because they don't want some guy that is known for taking any advantage that he can find, hooking up to the NFL Empire, and using it to further his own agenda. They have every right to do that. Once that blowhard gets in, they wouldn't be able to get rid of him, and he would become a serious nuisance. It's not even political (the NFL is DOMINATED by Republicans/Conservatives, particularly in the management and ownership areas). They would'nt want AL Gore , or Ralph Nader, or Jeese Jackson, or even Bill Clinton or any of these politicos because they know that these guys would use the NFL to gain access to the fanbase, television time etc. It's called a "conflict of interest". Rush Limbaugh is trying to "play" the NFL. "Homey don't play dat" Why should the NFL let that guy use them for a platform?

It's OVER !! Yea, they win a couple of games, maybe even the Jets game, but they will still suck. Just because it's still "mathmatically possible" doesn't mean it's not over. It's OVER!!

Herm Edwards is definitely a more animated losing coach. Great emotional post games interviews, lots of inspirational blather. Will that make you feel better? He's terrible and I doubt he will ever get another head coaching gig in the NFL.

I could see it. I think the Jets are getting better, but the are still developing, they will believe their own press clippings a bit too much. The Bills? Well, after that Pats game I thought "They probably just blew the whole wad on that game", they were counted out, picked on, just written off, and Brady was still getting it together, and the Pats needed some new leaders and probably figured to blow the Bills out. Now the Bills are are back to the same spot, they might do it with mirrors this week. But they still suck, and a win won't mean anything. I bet Jim Fassel ends up the new coach next season. Maybe he will be available after the UFL season is over? Cowher is not coming to Buffalo. None of the big time guys are gonna take this job, it's gotta be someone desperate.

These guys are the 2 best things about the offense! Why are you tearing into either of them. They are the only things that are right!

Yeah, but they aren't playing last year's teams. I'm giving it the eyeball test and I see a bunch of bad teams. Kansas City , Miami x2 (they suck, couldn't care less if the are "The Defending Division Champs". Suck.), Cleveland, Tampa bay, Tennessee, Carolina, Houston, Jacksonville. A real Murderer's Row. That's 9 games out of 16.

The schedule is no excuse for this team. They have a very easy schedule this season. They suck though, thats the problem.
