  1. Clausen, McCoy, a trade, a CFL guy. Just about anyone that isn't on the roster now. Perhaps this years class wasn't so good. I don't know, but no one really knows. It's not so much the people that didn't like this class, it's the people that think it's better to draft a left tackle BEFORE a new QB, setting the team back at least an extra year,(and probably improving the team just enough to take them out of a high draft position). The line can be fixed while a QB is developed. Decent enough lineman can be assembled in the 2 years or so it would take for a rookie QB to develop. The sooner a rookie QB (I'm not sold on developing 7th round guys) is here, the sooner we don't have to sit through more of the pathetic offensive performances that have scarred my youth.
  2. No one wanted to spend the top pick on a QB because we had to get a good left tackle. It's a lot easier to get a tackle than a top flight QB. Still no QB.
  3. They are all wasting their careers here. And they know it, but the pay is good, so........
  4. You are missing the most important point! There is no one worth a crap to throw him the ball! It won't make much difference who the WR's are, because they just run around for a while out there, then come back to the huddle, then repeat that twice more, then head to the sidelines. IT"S THE F"ING QB!!!!!!!!!! THERE ISN"T ONE!!!!!! GET IT???
  5. Rothlesberger is a jerk. He has a history of being a jackass. LT is NUTS. He has a history of wreaking havoc wherever he goes.
  6. I think he is worse than Rothlisberger. Not necessarily in a moral sense, but in the danger he presents to people around him. Ben comes across as an entitled jerk, too far gone on his ego, with a twisted misogyny that makes him think it's okay to treat women as objects. That's real bad. He needs some time in jail. It's obvious that LT is just OUT OF HIS MIND! Like a loaded gun at a teenage slumber party, or a bull in a china shop, he just wreaks havoc. Lock'em up!
  7. He has been useless at best, and extremely dangerous at least, off of the football field. Jeezus, is football really THAT important.
  8. LT has needed a cage for some time now. I think he has been out of his mind for a long time, maybe his whole life. I don't think he can be "fixed". It has finally caught up to him.
  9. You still consider that a question?! Here's the answer for ya, "WE DON"T"! Calling that "the only question" is like saying "I wanna live in Monte Carlo, the only problem is I don't have the money".
  10. You think that those teams EXPECTED those 2 guys to start as rookies? Again I'll ask, if you thought that there was a QB in the draft that could be a capable starter as a rookie, even knowing he wasn't a highly touted guy, and knowing that your team has struggled mightily for season after season at the quarterback position, would you wait until the last round to pick that guy? Your answer please......
  11. Yeah, but the Bills don't have the right weapons. They have exactly the wrong weapons. They have the ammunition, but no one to fire it off. The Bills offense can't get the ball past 15 yards from scrimmage, so it becomes kinda like "11 men in a small box". That's the story of the Bills offense.
  12. I'm not that high on the Jets either, I'm just low on the Bills. The Bills may catch them napping and win a game, but the Bills are gonna lose IN THE STANDINGS, where it counts. The Bills can't score. Haven't for years now. It's called a Quarterback. PS. I LOVE the Bills. I don't like ANY other team in sports (aside from the Sabres). I'm not against the Bills, they just don't have anything going right now. I think they will improve, but they DESPERATELY need a QB. It's not gonna happen until they get one. Teams between QB's struggle for years. The Cowboys, The Steelers, The Dolphins, The Packers. All these teams had heydays, then sucked after the Hall of Fame QB left. That's where the Bills are. IN LIMBO!
  13. In your post you implied that Brown had the best chance to stick around as a starter. I don't think he will see the field, and I don't think the coaching staff thinks he will see the field this season. If they liked him THAT much they wouldn't have let him last until the 7th round, they might have waited until the later rounds, but I don't believe they would let a guy that they felt had 1st season starter type skills, sit around until the last round.
  14. No. I'm saying that there is no way that they would let a QB that they thought was gonna be good enough to start as a rookie, last until the 7th round. Would you? Wouldn't you at least draft him say with a 4th or 5th round pick? Or would you just think "we're the only guys that see his potential, no one will pick him. We need a backup linebacker instead". That would be idiocy, and I don't think they are idiots. I think they see a guy that may develop with some good coaching and time, not a first year starter. Signed , Someone a whole lot smarter than you.
  15. These QB's all suck. It's not gonna make a big difference which one is out there. It's Pinto Vs. Pacer Vs. Yugo....
  16. If they liked Brown so much going into the draft that they thought "this guy could start for us this year", and then waited until the 7th round to pick him, they are idiots. The last round? I don't think they have any real expectations of him starting this season.
  17. They are way better than the Bills.
  18. The Bills aren't gonna beat them next year. The Bills will have to wait until they have an above average QB to beat them. Maybe in 2112....
  19. I have been thinking that they should use the Wing-T, perfect for the modern game! And slower running backs! This new guy is too fast!
  20. I doubt it. More like a lose, win, lose ,lose, win, lose, lose, win, lose, lose, win, lose, lose, win, lose, win situation.
  21. I have a feeling that it's not gonna matter who is playing wide receiver, because the quarterbacking is gonna be so bad.
  22. It would be cool if they could package Lynch and Parrish in a trade for something of value. Parrish has good value as a return man at the very least, while Lynch could be a good 2nd punch for a team needing a good quality 2nd back. Is there a team that has those 2 needs out there? Seattle? 49ers?
  23. So are women. So are video games. I wonder how many guys on Super Bowl winning teams, in it's HISTORY, could've failed "the weed test". I don't think it's a big indicator of "distractability". I think the pain killers these guys need to take would certainly have a bigger effect on a player's drive. The NFL is running on pharmaceuticals (and women).
  24. yeah, I'm with you. I think slower backs are better too! Speed doesn't help in the NFL....
  25. yeah, like Steve Smith! I think Jake Delltacomme should send half his paycheck to Smith....
