  1. He saw Brohm every practice. The Packers saw him every practice, and put him on the Developmental Squad. Give it up!
  2. Brohm sucks too. That's because he isn't playing!
  3. I don't care how much money he makes. The NFL makes truckloads everyday (Not mine, I'm not a mainstream consumer), and there are loads of underpaid, and loads of overpaid players on every team. He probably would have a better life (and much better career) with a different team. Whatever. The effort shown by many of these guys is merely human nature. It's really hopeless out there, and I can't see it changing until they have a few drafts worth of new talent. It's not on Lee Evans. The team is mismanaged, and hasn't come up with a QB, or a reasonable Offensive Line in a decade.
  4. Look, it's time to accept that the QB situation makes it impossible to judge the Bills receivers. Have they always been playing their best? No. But they are basically asked to run sprints whenever the Bills have the ball, because it's unlikely the ball is even gonna come out of Trents hands, no matter what the playcall. I'm sure it would be difficult for ANY player to keep their head in the game. Lee Evans is a good receiver, open to debate how good, but he is a legitimate NFL receiver that would start (maybe not the #1, but would start) for any other team. The Ills suck, and it's not Lee Evans. If anything, I feel bad for the guy because he resigned with the Bills when he should have left. You're scapegoating him. Every guy on the BIlls is overpaid. I could go out there and be completely ineffective, just like a handful of guys on the team that are just about invisible.
  5. That's the worst part of the whole Bills experience. They are DULL! I would take 42-35 losses every week over 8-8 seasons of NO OFFENSE. Week in week out. I would care if they spent every draft pick on offensive players for the next 4 drafts. Just gives us something to watch.
  6. Arizona has the same line. Different QB. Suddenly, they can't score. It's the QB.
  7. It's the players. They aren't very good. Talent needed. Drafting needs to improve. Simple, but not easy. And it will take awhile.
  8. It the players. The Packers know how to draft, and have a solid philosophy. The Bills are lost. They new a whole new Personnel Dept. They couldn't be any worse, even Detroit has surpassed them.
  9. I should start betting against the Bills, at least I know I will win.
  10. They don't have anyone better. Why are people so fascinated with a QB change when they have all proven themselves inadequate?
  11. It's not the coach or the owner or the schemes. It the players. The Packers draftgreat, the Bills draft bad. They need to overhaul the scouting/personnel dept.
  12. THis is when it falls apart. The offense holds all the cards. This defense is not that bad, they are just constantly behind the 8-ball because of the offense.
  13. I wanna smash my computer
  14. Lynch is the best player on the feild. He is playing for a trade. Maybe they should start some "Trent Edwards trade rumours".
  15. JP was better than Edwards. He only had one pass that he could complete (the bomb), but at least he had one.
  16. Where did people get the idea that the offense would be any better?
  17. Exactly. You waste some good seasons waiting for the QB to get it together. Thats why you get the QB as soon as possible.
  18. Schottenjammer didn't play QB in the NFL. He's a coach's son, not a guy that's gonna relate to a player "as a player" (more like a guy that has always made players uncomfortable because he is the coach's son). What I gather from interviews with Sanchez, is that he is both a mediator between Sanchez and the coaches, and a guy there to provide an example of the kind of dedication it takes to become successful as a QB and a leader in the NFL. Anyway, I couldn't give a ratsazz about why Brunell is there. I don't think you have any more insight into the situation than I do. Believe what you like.
  19. He is there to show Sanchez the ropes. That's money well spent if Sanchez develops nicely. He definitely wasn't brought in to compete with Sanchez.
  20. Is that you Colin Cowherd?
  21. I thought all that matters is the Offensive Line? Everyone seems to agree that the Jests have one of, if not THE best line in football (and a great defense too). If they still stumble through the season, can we finaaly agree that the QB is the most important player, and that drafting a left tackle doesn't supercede getting a franchise QB?
  22. He's another jackazz. Not a good trade in many different ways. Money, position, off-field behavior.
  23. The Pats get Tom Brady, and the Bills get Keith Ellison?
