I think they should draft TWO quarterbacks next year (and every year until they find one that is worthwhile).

Wow. Some of the things I read here make me worry about the decisions these people are making that concern their own life.

Gailey In Full Panic Mode?
Geno Smith's Arm replied to yungmack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well said. It's been boggling my mind as well, but you have put it succinctly. -
M. Vick is a psychopath, as in Anti-Social Personality Disorder. He has paid for his crime, he deserves to have the opportunity to play NFL football again. Problem with psychopaths is that they can't help themselves. He will get into trouble again, though the better he plays the more likely he will be able to cover-up his behavior, but there is no cure. He will likely end up in jail again at some point in life. I want the Bills to win as much as the next guy, but I don't think it's necessary to have Vick as their QB. There will be other QB's available next season (and even Peyton Manning couldn't take this years team anywhere).

Bills are being laughed at on the field.
Geno Smith's Arm replied to b stein 22's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no idea why Whitner gets so beat up on this board either. The Bills drafted him too high, not his fault. He is in the top half of safeties in the league. He is good enough to start for a championship caliber team (I think). No he isn't a star, but all indications are that he studies the game and tries to be a leader off the field. Whitner isn't the problem. The DEFENSE isn't the problem. Idon't even think it's the coaching. It's basically 3 positions, QB, LT and RT, that are just destroying this team, and have been for many seasons. Those are such critical positions, that they spoil the entire team. -
Gailey In Full Panic Mode?
Geno Smith's Arm replied to yungmack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You picked a "Lame Duck Colts" game to inspire us with confidence in Fitz?! Fitz will probably move the chains a bit more, but make other mistakes that will keep these Bills out of the endzone. He might get the Bills a field goal more, every other game (1.5 points per game), than Edwards, but throw an extra interception that leads to a touchdown or something like that. He blows. \ Same end results really. A low-scoring offense, and losses. -
Gailey In Full Panic Mode?
Geno Smith's Arm replied to yungmack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The season is a wash. We knowit. Gailey knows. Ralph knows it. The team knows it. There are no roster changes or game plans that are going to make a signifigant difference. That's not first year coach Chan Gailey's fault. I'm sure he hoped for better, but there just isn't enough to work with. Hopefully they can win some games, but it's gonna be a mess of a season. -
A Bold Prediction Concerning the QB's
Geno Smith's Arm replied to Geno Smith's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not in the least bit bold. At least it shouldn't be to anyone that can see the obvious. Like that the coaches know that all the QB's aren't good enough to win in the NFL, and that Brian Brohm in particular, isn't the answer. But if you think the coaches are completely clueless, and have just been overlooking the next Kurt Warner, this might be considered a bold prediction. I have heard that 10% of mankind doesn't understand, or have any sense of, facetiousness or sarcasm. They must all be Brohm fans too. haha, yeah, I assumed it was a joke, but you never know.... -
A Bold Prediction Concerning the QB's
Geno Smith's Arm replied to Geno Smith's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can accept this reasoning. It is good to send that message, but I think the effort is there. The quarterbacks are all below par talent-wise, and the offensive lineplay just magnifies their deficiencies. They don't need a jolt, they need better players. The QB's and offensive line will be in constant rotation if that approach is used. Did you read each of the posts, or do you have a plate in your head? -
A Bold Prediction Concerning the QB's
Geno Smith's Arm replied to Geno Smith's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You seem like a deep thinker. Do you think I consider it a bold prediction? Here ya' go. None of the QB's are gonna get it done, and clamoring for Brohm when the guy has basically been declared marginal by 2 teams is silly. And this offense could actually get worse. -
They also waited until the moment when the coverage was at it's best point to stop the tape. There were other points in the play that they were more open., It was also ONE PLAY!
-
The receivers are certainly better at their position than Trent is at QB. he isn't throwing the ball and letting them make a play. Remember when there was this notion floating around, that Edwards wasn't passing the ball because DJ didn't want him to, that DJ wanted him to play too conservative and was holding Edwards back. HAHAHAHAHA!

Levi Brown Working out for Steelers
Geno Smith's Arm replied to TheBlackMamba's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are car dealerships, and insurance agencies in major college towns across America, with at least one Levi Brown in each town. Let's sign a bunch so that each one can PROVE that he doesn't have what it takes. It could be an interesting marketing approach, kinda like American Idol.....wait....that's genius! Imagine the ratings! We all know the Bills are going nowhere, why not have a different cast-off QB each week! Maybe even two a game (give them each a half! And at the end the "winner" (as voted on by Bills season ticket holders) get an invitation to the 2011 Bills Training Camp! This would be way more interesting than watching Brian Trentpatrick bumble through this season to a handful of wins, and American would LOVE it! -

Dude. That poster is likely a child, at least intellectually. Pretty soon it will be Hamdan again, "He never got a fair shake! It's never been PROVEN that Hamdan couldn't do it because he never got a chance in a real game!". -
A Bold Prediction Concerning the QB's
Geno Smith's Arm replied to Geno Smith's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You know what? Sometimes when I am responding to posts I think to myself "This is probably some 13 year old". If you are indeed serious, I suggest you home school your children The point is, there is no real choice! This is the kind of post I was looking for! No Simple as that! And I thought they were grasping for straws.... -
A Bold Prediction Concerning the QB's

Did you read what I wrote? I know YOU understand PTR, but there plenty that seem to think Brohm is this diamond in the rough that just hasn't had a chance to sparkle. -
Randy Cross calls out Lee Evans, Bills WRs
Geno Smith's Arm replied to LGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Out of all the negative Edwards posts, why do you pick my post to defend Edwards? I didn't mention him in the post, and I actually think he is the best QB on the team, but not very good. I agree that it's hard to throw deep when you have a linebacker on top of you, but to blame Lee Evans is ridiculous. I said that the ball doesn't come out of the QB's hands, isn't that true? I didn't say it was always the QB's fault, sometimes it's Trent's sometimes it's the O-lines, but it's definitely NOT Lee Evans fault. Trent is not a good QB. He will not go to another team and be successful. He will have an opportunity next year, because so many teams are desperate to find a QB, but he won't be signifigantly better. -
I predict that the offense will suck as bad with Fitz at the helm, as it has with Edwards at the helm (I actually prefer Fitz's suck to Edward's suck, but it isn't really more effective, just different). I also predict that the offense will suck WORSE with Brohm at the helm than with either Edwards or Fitz. I post this to collect in one place, and make easy to find, all the Brohm lovers foolish claims. Stuff about "What is there to lose? and "We don't KNOW that he sucks yet". The coaches know. They see him everyday. I can picture an offense so bad that they will almost exclusively run the ball, and have at least one game without a completion beyond the line of scrimmage. I know this is not news to most, but there seem to be some people that think this change is progress.

It's not the game plan. What a joke! It's the players my friend, specifically the offensive line and the quarterback. I have no loyalty or "passion" for Chan Gailey. In fact, here we go "IT WASN"T DICK JUARON'S FAULT THE BILLS SUCKED LAST YEAR!" They sucked before DJ and CG. They have sucked mainly because they can't find a high quality quarterback and some average offensive lineman. If DJ was the coach of the Colts they would still win 10 games every year.

Where is our PASS RUSH?
Geno Smith's Arm replied to San Diego Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who cares? Who cares about the defense, compared to the offense, the defense is great! The defense isn't the problem, it's the offense my friend, the offense. It sucks, it's doing the defense no favors. You can't win if you don't score. The pass rush is pretty much irrelevant. The run defense doesn't matter. They play competitively on that side of the ball, especially considering that they NEVER have a lead, and that the opposing offense holds all the cards. Field position, time of possession, things like that. The offense sucks, and has sucked for a decade. The defense is on the effin' back burner. -
None of this mess is Chan Gailey's fault. he has inherited a team low on talent, and suffering from a personality disorder. People an complain, but what would YOU do? The best anyone can come up with is "Put in Brian Brohm, that's what I would do!". There's nothing that can be done right now.
