I think the top pick is really unlikely

I see all this talk about Andrew Luck, and the 1st pick overall. I don't think these Bills are going to have the 1st pick or even the 2nd. I see other already bad teams getting worse, and the Bills getting better. Detroit, Denver, Arizona, Carolina, Cinncinati- all bad teams that could finish below the Bills. I am interested to see if this 1st pick overall is really the general feeling of the fans on this board. I think they will pick 4th.

Woah wa woah woah. I am a Fitz SUPPORTER! I just think that putting down Brady for jus about ANYTHING is kinda silly. Especially when comparing himto a guy that hasn't accomplished much YET. I am a Fitz supporter! I have been mentioning in multiple threads that Fitz has been getting hit ALOT, especially right after he throws, that it accounts for some of his inaccuracies, and that Tom Brady, when playing against a pass rush like the one Fitz faces every game, poops his pants! What else do you want? You want me to say "Fitz is better than that cry-baby Tom Brady, the 3-time Champion, league MVP, etc. quarterback"? Get real.

I think he got pissed and out of control for at least that one ridiculously hard throw to S johnson. Whatever Brady has been doing seems to have worked for a pretty long time, and Fitz has one win this season.

I don't think he is Jim Kelly, but to expect him to have games like Kelly without guys like Reed, Thomas, Lofton, and Metzelaars is a bit unrealistic. I really like Fitz and we will know by the end of this season if he has what it takes....

Hahaha! That was nothing like what I expected. It's funny in a weird way. He seems so casual about it all. I'm not sure what to make of Fitz now. He isn't real intense. but he is so much looser than I pictured him. He is kind of nerdy! But not in a bad way, almost in a Frank Reich-ian way . I am gonna have a whole new perspective when watching him play this Su nday.

All this is pure speculation. I haven't heard Luck or Harbuagh or Luck's father or anybody but Cowherd (I think Cowherd is VERY good at what he does, but I don't agree with some of his opinions. I don't think he is a D-bag just because he panders to large markets, I just think his views are skewed and he has to fill lots of airtime every weekday). I haven't heard anything from Harbaugh in many years about this "feud" with Kelly, so it's sounds funny for someone to talk about how he needs to let it go! It's unlikely that Luck will come out for this draft regardless of who has the first pick. It's also unlikely (to me) that the Bills are gonna have the first pick overall.

Paup don't know how to act! That pass to Johnson has me particularly miffed, because JOHNSON misplayed it. Instead of coming inside for the ball, he just kept running up the sideline. I don't judge SJ too harshly though, because the ball got caught up in the RAIN and WIND. It was certainly "playable" though. When Jim Kelly was the QB, there was great outcry for Frank Reich to be named the starter. Say it out loud "Sit down Jim Kelly, you are holding this team back". Some people are just chronic pessimists. I agree, but I don't think the Bills are going to have the first pick (I bet it's more like 3rd or 4th) AND, Luck probably isn't going to come out. Why this constant bickering over a guy that the Bills likely won't have a chance to pick anyway?

I have made fun of Fitz for a long time, but I think he MIGHT be an answer. There are plenty of teams that would love to have a guy like him as their QB (he is at least as good as Tony Romo). He gets hit RIGHT AFTER he throws OFTEN. Tom Brady has crapped out under the conditions that Fitz has been playing (fairly well) under. I bet with better protection his accuracy would improve GREATLY. How about an upgrade at 2 positions on the O-line next season? I don't think they need to have "the Top Left Tackle Prospect of the 2011 NFL DRAFT!" or something, just 2 more guys that are significant upgrades. Fitz will be playing for the starting job this last half of the season, and we will see if he can make these Bills "his team". It's all in his hands.....

Tebow was a wasted 1st rd pick. The only people I have seen that still think he is going to be any good have been one of those 3 choices. Throw in the phrase "BUTTLOAD of passion" and I have to question the seriousness of the poster.

Tom Brady has pooped the bed when faced with the rush that Fitz has faced EVERY GAME! His accuracy is the thing people seem to point to most often, well that would improve with a couple upgrades on the O-line. I'm not saying he is definitely the answer, but many of the criticisms and comparisions don't really take into account the fact that he gets hit RIGHT AFTER he releases the ball, and this has affected his accuracy (like it does every QB, again check out how Brady plays with guys in his face).

tebow is a merch/memorabilia salesman, that is his long-term career. Signing & Selling, not Passing & Winning.

Johnson could have caught that long ball that obviously got caught in the wind. JOHNSON misplayed by not coming back inside and instead continuing along the sideline.

They lost those games. That's not clutch enough. I'm no way understating the importance of that. In fact, if you didn't have an axe to grind, you would see that I am hingeing the entire decision of whether or not to spend the 1st pick on a QB on Fitz proving he can come through in those situations. I think that's pretty clear in my post. F off.

Funny, he has his best game against the Lions. Kelsay is a below average player at any position.

Edwards never threw for over 300yds though. The only thing left for Fitz to show is that he can bring the team back at the end of a game, or play well in the clutch. There will be some chances for him to play in those circumstances some time this season. We will see if he has made progress in those areas. If not, then I think they should spend the 1st round pick on a QB. I still don't get the feeling from his interviews/ body language that it's "his team". I know he has to earn that, but maybe the coaching staff isn't giving him that kind of support either (and maybe they don't feel it is "his team", I don't know). Just my impression.

I don't think he is faking an injury, I think he has been faking being healthy.

Why even think about it, when so much is going to change? Really, lemme know why you have any kind of interest in something so pointless.

They will win at least 2 more games. The NFL is very competitve (yes, even these Bills), that's why they play the games. No team is undefeated, and the top teams often lose to some of the bottom feeders. Don't worry, one of the better teams the Bills play late in the season won't show up in top form.
