  1. Name a team that you feel doesn't draft versatile players? I don't think there has been an emphasis on versatility by this organization.
  2. Yes, so it's not my imagination. He has great energy! He reminds me of Von Miller in that way (not saying he has that kind of talent). He is also a great HITTER and tackler. He knows how to tackle hard, has a real knack. I think he will make some big plays in the NFL. If someone compares him to Maybin I will scream. Lewis has great football instincts. Look at his special teams footage, he has great anticipation. I'm convinced that if they could get one of the top DE/OLB (Upshaw would work) guys in the first, and Lewis in the 2nd, that the defense could be transformed.
  3. I like Ingram. I like that website too. Here's the guy I hope they pick in the 2nd round, Ronnell Lewis: http://draftbreakdown.com/ronnell-lewis-vs-texas-2011
  4. PAY UP! I bet bbb $150 that the Bills would reach 10 wins. I lost, and paid up. If you don't you are s**t! This board is all about "your word".
  5. I'm surprised no one posted about this article http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/report-chiefs-employees-live-environment-secrecy-intimidation-fear-175257336.html I am wondering if this is something Pioli picked up from Belichick? This kind of paranoia sounds just like BB!
  6. You are correct, sir! You are correct as well, sir I will be disappointed if they draft a LT in the 1st.
  7. It's about scoring lots of points, and creating turnovers. It's not about stopping the run. Big play defense is essential, that demands a different attitude. There are big play-type guys versus solid defenders. There was a lot of scoring this weekend, no? That doesn't really fit with the "Defense wins championships" bromide.
  8. I kind of agree. I think he will be an above average player, but he doesn't look elite. I'm not sure who will be available when they pick, but I hope they don't reach like they have for so many years, trying to fill holes. Unfortunately, it might be a LT, or another CB. Anyone know much about Nick Perry? He may rise up the board pretty quick.
  9. Anyone that furthers the agenda of organized religion is doing way more harm than anything Tom Brady might do. I think Tebow is a nice guy, but if even one child is lost to Christianity due to his efforts, it's too many. I can't stand the style of football Denver plays. I love the style of offense Brady plays (spare me the cheating barbs, it's tired). Tebow has only been successful because their offense is so atypical. The reason Brady's offense is successful, is because he is one of the greats. I also really don't like McGahee. I think I have displayed plenty of loyalty to the Bills, and have lost plenty of money supporting them.
  10. Maybe he wants to get "chased out of town"?
  11. I don't expect a 2nd rd WR from this draft to be any better than what we have already. I guess Blackmon would satisfy, but he will be gone. A LT seems unlikely, and I think they can upgrade the line without spending high picks on it. So that leaves defense. I would like them to get 2 Front 7 players with their top 2 picks. The second pick can be a "rush specialist" and I will be happy.
  12. Where is Ronnell Lewis? I'm hoping they get him in the 2nd.
  13. Get a grip. As the poster above you noted. RW Stadium isn't the right dimensions for baseball.
  14. Exactly. I have heard all these "business as usual" comments about the Raiders. Things like "everyone thought it would change now that Al Davis is gone". Hiring Hugh Jackson was an Al Davis decision!. NOW is the beginning of the new way. They just did! they got rid of Al Davis's last coaching hire.
  15. Hightower has had a torn ACL. I think Upshaw is a safe pick. He seems an all-around player, not a sack machine. Ronnell Lewis.
  16. I like him, and think he will be a very good player, but I'm not sure that he is gonna be a top shelf pass rusher. He isn't that fast. (No, I don't need to be told about Maybin, or look where that got us, or speed isn't everything). I mentioned Ronnell Lewis in the 2nd, because with both those guys they would cover the bases, and the defense would have a nice variety of weapons. Both guys could easily be available when the Bills pick. Upshaw can play DE and OLB in either 4/3 or 3/4, and Lewis would play rush LB.
  17. I would be happy if they took Upshaw in the 1st, and Ronnell Lewis in the 2nd. Upshaw looks like the kind of player that has a very good, solid career. Lewis is a big play guy. He is capable of wreaking havoc, more of a wildcard type player. He plays real fast, reminding me of Von Miller (no, I'm not saying he is as good). Those 2 on opposite sides, with Dareus and Williams in the middle, could be a huge upgrade to the front 7.
  18. Wow, "my bad". They are both too old to START a rebuild. Chan looks pretty old. I see him coaching just 2, (maybe 3) more seasons.
  19. I prefer Jeffrey. He is big and athletic. He doesn't need to seperate because he can just take the ball away. Blackmon isn't very big, and he acts immature. I would prefer that the Bills go defense with their top pick, and instead get a hold of an "adequate" deep threat some other way. The defense needs some specialized talent. I wouldn't mind if they spent their 1st and 2nd picks on OLB's.
  20. Chan is OLD. I think that what Wannstadt hopes will happen is that he becomes DC, the team plays great for a couple seasons, and then Chan retires and he is given the HC job. I can't believe no one else in this thread mentioned this. I think it is the most obvious and likely scenario (well, except for the "team plays great for a couple seasons" part!).
  21. Yep. And Fitz slings the ball way too hard in a hissy fit when things aren't going well. He has gotten very pissed, and thrown the ball ridiculously hard on some plays in critical situations. He gets overemotional, though he tries to appear calm.
