  1. Ok. How is this? No, I don't necessarily think I can scout college talent better than Nix, but I do think I can draft as well as he can.
  2. I agree that he is often making tackles down field. But you can see that the team around him is just terrible, and the line in front of him is just getting blown off the ball. He seems a pretty sure tackler, and with a better line he would probably be able to move forward, and meet the runner sooner. I will be disappointed if he is the 10th pick, though.
  3. I'm not blaming the current "regime", I know they didn't handle the last 15 drafts. The point is, virtually anyone could draft better than what this organization has typically done, and it wouldn't take much for ANYONE to put together a reasonable draft given the sheer amount of player scouting reports available to the public. I like Chanix, and expect them to do a good job. No need to overthink it, just don't bungle it! (It's silly to do what the Lions did, and repeatedly select WR's, just because the drafts unfolded in such a way that WR's were at the top of the board.)
  4. That's because no one here really knows what they are talking about, and they are just repeating what they have read or heard.
  5. If for the last 15 years, the Bills had simply grabbed virtually ANY draft magazine off the newstand, and followed it's "Big Board", they would have had way more talent on the roster.
  6. If we're going to play these kind of games, why not just draft a center in the 3rd round or something? If Wood gets hurt, you have a real center. If the guy develops, you have a great guard in Wood, and a center. I really hope they don't draft DeCastro...
  7. I think that place is great. It might clear out more space, in way cooler travel destinations, of people that seemingly base their whole life on sports/sporting events.
  8. You know, it's not that crazy actually. Of the teams that pick ahead of the Bills, there are only 2 teams (Vikings and Rams) that are really desperate for a LT. They are each desperate for help at other positions too though. I don't expect it to happen though.
  9. I don't know that he would like to come here either. I think Bell's injuries are the reason Bell wasn't offered big money by the Bills (or apparently any other team) more so than his play. I have heard things like McNeill wanting to retire (I listen to a bit of San Diego sports talk radio). I think Bell is a little better option. I don't have a solution for the Bills LT problems...
  10. Bell might not want to come back, though. McNeill isn't a very healthy guy. Any guy they draft will likely need at least a season of development. I think they will draft an LT in the 2nd or 3rd, and develop him for the future, but not expect him to start this season.
  11. There appears to be 7 top tier prospects. Luck Kalil Griffin Claiborne Richardson Blackmon maybe Tannenhill After these guys, the next 15 or so guys seem to form the 2nd tier. The Bills might get lucky and have one of them slip (where are the Raiders when you need them?), but I think the Bills are out of the running. I hate this draft.
  12. The fact that they focused on DE and WR in free agency, tells me that they consider these to be their most pressing needs. The fact that they didn't get a WR, and that there are no clear cut exceptional talents (at any position) at 10, leads me to believe that they will select a WR with it. Probably Floyd. I hope they can trade down, but that doesn't seem likely. This draft is the most confounding for the Bills that I can ever recall. I wonder if they are working on other ways to get a WR or LT? Maybe a pre-draft trade involving players and draft picks. I don't know, they seem stuck in a weird place.
  13. When I see those threads, I don't worry about jinxing the Bills. I just expect the posts to be lame.
  14. Fail. It's really too bad there won't be any suitable LT's the one year that they might actually want to select one. If I remember correctly, the concern about Glenn is his footwork. That's a big concern for a LT.
  15. yeah, it's all just a matter of harsher punishments. More jails! Televised executions would help, too. And he could get a whole new set of Latin American dictators to control the drug trade with. Right now, some of those guys just demand too big of a cut!
  16. Every team has weaknesses. It would be nice to have a better backup QB, but how many teams really do? Any backup QB that plays well behind an established guy, usually gets traded right away because their team has other needs, and there are always other teams desperate for a good QB.
  17. Wow, you really are jumping to conclusions! You are playing some dirty pool, too. I don't think Tebow is a good QB. I think he is a nice guy. I like good character players. You are showing some very self-righteous tendencies. Very "God-Squad" like. Jumping my posts to make such strange accusations. You should ask yourself "Would Timothy Tebow do this?". I think not.
  18. Another one. Any of the topics that were brought up have multiple threads discussing them, they really don't have anything to do with how Elway got rid of Tebow. And here again, him being a nice guy, or referring to foolish behavior by other players, really isn't pertinent to the Bills ("Such a shame"). It all has it's place in the "TEBOW!!!" thread. That is why it's there!
  19. Yes, but all those aspects you somehow manage to link to Tebow being shipped off. They really don't need to be linked to John Elway and Tebow. Why not just pose those questions without framing it with TT? It's easily done, but you didn't want to.
  20. Kuechly, as has been mentioned many times, both here and on draft sites, has the skill set to play OLB or ILB. He is also a "3-down linebacker", that wouldn't have to leave the field in obvious passing situations, and wouldn't be a liability if a team decides to pass on early downs. That's nice to have. It would not be giving up on Sheppard.
  21. This is a Tebow thing. Why not just post it in the "TEBOW!!!!" thread? It is a really nice feature, because it allows the people that don't care about TT, a way of avoiding these kinds of posts, and at the same time, allows the people that do care, to quickly access the TT chatter.
  22. They need an influx of talent for the offense. Time to get Fitz a receiver that can add to the playbook (as opposed to 3 guys that are basically the same type of receiver), and a LT. The defense had last years draft, and big free agents this year. Really, at this point, another DT or DE isn't going to add as much as an up grade at WR and LT. The defensive frenzy has gotten ridiculous. They need to score points too!
  23. I don't think the Bills need to worry about any other team. The Pats don't. They worry about getting better THEMSELVES. Even during the season when they were running up scores, I think they were half serious when they would say "we are still working on improving, and working things out. Trying to perfect the offense". That's the right attitude. They wanted an offense that scored a touchdown EVERY possession. The Bills can get plenty better even if they don't add another player. Basically, I don't care what the Patriots are doing.
  24. I don't think Parrish will make a roster this season. He is done. He had some nice skills, and made some great plays, but this team is trying to move forward, and his injuries are too disruptive. Like others have said, he takes reps and playing time away from other guys that need experience.
