  7. I could always just check what they’re selling for on EBay, but like I said I’m more interested in giving them a good home than making money. I also have a Marx electric train from the 60’s that still works, Major Matt Mason astronauts, a couple of table hockey sets, DC and Marvel action figures, and my son’s Transformers and Ninja Turtles. Understood, I’ve sold to comic shops before. I’ve known one of them for over 20 years, so I wouldn’t mind helping him out with some bargains.
  8. I have a similar problem of having a huge collection of comic books that my son doesn’t want, as well as sports cards going back the the 60’s (AFL Jack Kemp), Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars, original 12” GI Joes, and my son’s large 1990’s Star Wars collection. For the comic books I’m considering going to my local comic shop that sells back issues and giving them up at a great price. The other stuff I’ll advertise on social media to sell. I just want to make sure the stuff from my childhood goes to someone who’ll appreciate them.

Billy Ray was the preacher's son And when his daddy would visit he'd come along When they gathered 'round and started talkin' That's when Billy would take me walkin' Out through the back yard we'd go walkin' Then he'd look into my eyes Lord knows, to my surprise The only one who could ever reach me Was the son of a preacher man The only boy who could ever teach me Was the son of a preacher man Yes, he was, he was, ooh, yes, he was
