  1. He said he wants to be traded if RGIII is the starter.
  2. Perhaps the team let him know that he wasn't going to be asked back for next year and the team let him retain some dignity by saying he retired.
  3. How do you know that EJ couldn't have won that pseudo preseason game? If the coaches and players don't think he can win, then why is he still on the team?
  4. I'd think Dallas and Giants are the best chances for a night home game based on tv audience.
  5. I'm saying what I would have done, not what they would have, which is another reason I don't have faith in Whaley. Again, they didn't know they would be picking at 20 or who was coming out when the trade was made. But it all goes back to their faith in the QBs they had, another mistake. And the record of a team isn't the only criteria to judge teams. I put more emphasis on who makes the playoffs. We'll have to agree to disagree.
  6. I'd say their opinion is based on 15 years of the Bills going from bad to OK, rinse and repeat. Some people can't handle the truth and want cheerleaders, not opinions.
  7. I'd take Beckham and next year's 1st over Watkins. They didn't know where they would pick when they made the trade. And you're deflecting from the fact that finding a new QB is not a tweek, and that you think a non playoff team is better than a playoff team.
  8. We'll never know because it's now not an option. But the original point remains; playoff team > non playoff team.
  9. They did with EJ. And they're still hoping.
  10. Jeff Tuel; they insist on keeping him on the team.
  11. The point is they've lost any leverage they had to trade up in draft. So now their only option is other team's cast offs. Probably the best option is RG III. But I'm afraid their arrogance in trying to prove they were right will cause them to stay with Orton and EJ. And that will not result in a better season.
  12. Thinking that missing the playoffs is still a good season is like a beaten dog being given a bone and thinking it has a good owner. You're satisfied with anything better than before. And needing a new starting QB is not a tweek, it's a major issue. One that now can't be resolved with their 1st round pick.
  13. And the Bills beat Chicago who had 2 injured receivers, Minnesota without Peterson, Detroit without Megatron, and the Pats backups. So should we discount those wins because they don't control other teams's rosters? The Bills lost to Houston, Miami, and Oakland. They didn't win when they needed to. The winner of the NFC South will today. That's a more successful team.
  14. I live in the present, and in the present both equal the same results; no playoffs. I cringe to think of the future with another year of Marrone, Hackett, Orton, and EJ.
  15. Not anything; the same thing. 15 years.
  16. Hopefully Pegula learned from his mistake of keeping Darcy and Lindy too long and cleans house. But I doubt it.
  17. Obviously the NFC South winner; they won when they needed to make the playoffs. Now they have a better chance than the Bills at winning the Super Bowl.
  18. And another season ends before the New Year.
  19. @ThomasGower: Bills-Patriots passes 2008 Week 17 Titans-Colts as shortest game (by time) in recent NFL history.
  20. Because they're injured.
  21. Pats sat players like Gronk and Edelman on purpose. If Belichek cared they would have played.
  22. I agree the Pats backups playing against the Bills starters are trying to win.
  23. The Pats don't care about this game.
  24. It's the same unrealistic people on here. It's getting old. Obviously they aren't perfect as they've missed the playoffs for a 15th straight year. That's not progress despite what some of the unicorn and rainbows posters want to admit.
