  1. Pepsi Next. I know someone who works at a distributor who said they discontinued it in the US, but it might still be available in Canada. Kenner's Starting Lineup figures. Wendy's all you can eat salad bar. You could make your own tacos.
  2. I used to, but I decided I wasn't going to keep paying for an average team, plus the increased boorish behavior in the stands, plus my son who I used to go with had to move away for his job. But that's a different issue than thanking owners for not screwing ticket buyers who support a mediocre product.
  3. So you have lowered expectations. Teams don't deserve praise for not raising prices when the product is the same. That's what should be done. Talk to me when they lower prices.
  4. Thanks Pegulas, for not raising prices on a mediocre product.
  5. Ugh, same sick feeling from election night returns.
  6. I'm disappointed that Frederick Douglass has yet to speak about the BG Massacre. Perhaps he's waiting until Trump invites him to the White House to make a statement.
  7. Being named as an alternate is like a participation trophy. I can think of 20 NFL QBs I'd rather have than Taylor.
  8. Because if I started an Obama Economy thread it would get deleted. More people looking for jobs could be the result of seeing that the economy has been improving in the past year to the point that there are more openings, or people fearing that they'll need a 2nd household income to make up for losing their ACA healthcare, or to pay the inflated prices that a tariff war will bring.
  9. The unemployment rate has dropped from an Obama administration high of 10% in 2009 to 4.8% in January 2017. Thanks President Obama for leaving us in a much better place then when you began. http://money.cnn.com/2017/02/03/news/economy/january-jobs-report/index.html 'America added 227,000 jobs in January, well ahead of December's gain of 157,000 jobs. The unemployment rate ticked up a bit to 4.8%. More Americans started looking for work again -- a good sign -- which explains the small increase in unemployment. It's the first jobs report to be released under the Trump administration. However, the Labor Department conducted its jobs survey in the second week of January, when President Obama was in office. The report represents the economy that Trump is now taking over.' When asked in his first press briefing what the unemployment rate was, Sean Spicer wouldn't say. He said there are a number of factors and numbers that go into the calculation. So he was asked what did Trump think the unemployment rate was, or what measurable should be used to determine the starting number for the Trump administration. Again he wouldn't say. Of course they don't want to commit to a measurable number because if it goes bad they will say whatever number is used is not true. In business there are always measurables to determine how the business is performing, but the business genius won't commit to any.
  10. If only Trump would follow that advice.
  11. Breaking News: President Trump said he would "totally destroy" limits on political activity by tax-exempt churches. Will Gorsuch agree.based on religious freedom and free speech or disagree based on separation of church and state? And should they remain tax-exempt?
  12. Yeah, they noticed that Trump is leaving alone countries that terrorists actually came from to attack the U.S., while concentrating on countries where they didn't come from, and refugees that have been the most scrutinized group of foreigners.
  13. So Trump will defend Iranians threatened by their government? I agree it's not a red line; it's fuzzy orange.
  14. #AltenateTruth
  15. "On notice" is hardly taking them to task, whatever that means. The fuzzy orange line. And now we know Trump lost his cool with another ally, Australia. As Irv Weinstein would say, Troubling Trump Temper Tantrum Telephone Tirade.
  16. Is Melania in witness protection? She hasn't been in Washington in two weeks. I realize that Ivanka is the real First Lady in Donald's eyes, but since they took over there's been no White House tours because the First Lady's office handles them, and they haven't hired anyone to do it yet. They can't even get that simple task right.
  17. Michael Flynn came out today and drew a fuzzy orange line with Iran by saying they were 'on notice' for testing a missile, whatever that means. Meanwhile Russia has been taking offensive military actions in the Ukraine since the weekend in violation of the Minsk accord, and not a peep out of the administration. Very telling. Quid pro quo for Putin given Flynn accepted money from a Russian television network that U.S. intelligence officials say is part of a state-funded media apparatus? Or did Putin tell Trump during their phone call to not talk about it?
  18. Polls now show that Obamacare is more popular than ever. Given the reality that it may actually be repealed, more people now favor than oppose Obamacare. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/poll-how-popularity-is-obamacare-233700
  19. So it appears that Ivanka really is the First Lady. Who takes their daughter instead of his wife to such a solemn ceremony? Not Bush, Clinton, W, or Obama. Melania couldn't make the short trip to DC? Disrespectful.
  20. Just some of the man bears that post here.
