  1. Unlike compromised Nunes, he's not going to rush to the president or press with evidence while the investigation is ongoing. It appears that it's the White House that is having a daily meltdown. And we didn't have a problem with the last Christian POTUS. Or are you one of those "He's a Muslim" nuts?
  2. The county should offer the Bills a deal; if they make the playoffs then they don't have to pay the taxes, and if they don't they pay double.
  3. I still think that Sasha will have Negan in her sights, and Eugene will save him. He likes where he's at in the food chain.
  4. The Sopranos Breaking Bad The Shield Sons of Anarchy The Walking Dead
  5. I just saw Manos recently on MST 3000. And I remember seeing Santa Claus conquers the Martians at a theater when it came out. There are movies that I don't go looking for, but if I find them while flipping channels I get sucked into watching them again: V for Vendetta Goodfellas The Watchmen Apocalypse Now The Dark Knight
  6. At that price, you bet your ass.
  7. Trump repeatedly said during his presidential campaign that he would declare China a currency manipulator on his first day in office, for artificially weakening the yuan against the dollar. A cheap currency brings down the prices of a country's exports, automatically making them more competitive. After Tillerson's recent media-evading trip to China, we've yet to see Trump take the action he promised.
  8. "Im not a big media press access person. I personally dont need it." So said Rex Tillerson on excluding media from his flight to China. He seems to think like Trump that the media is there to serve his wishes. This isn't Exxon, he's representing the U.S. and the media is there to inform us on what he is or isn't doing. If he doesn't like the scrutiny he shouldn't have taken the job. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/03/20/rex-tillersons-view-of-media-access-is-completely-backward/?utm_term=.dbbf8d904c72
  9. Hard to consider it a sport if this guy can do it.
  10. Today's testimony confirmed that Trump lied about Obama and the British, and that Russia influenced the election by their selective campaign against Clinton to favor Trump. While those facts were already widely known, the biggest news was that the FBI has been investigating the Trump-Russia scandal since July, but didn't disclose it before the election because he "doesn't discuss ongoing investigations". Really? He was willing to comment on the Clinton email investigation (which amounted to nothing) but was politically damaging. It was a clear double standard. He should have disclosed neither, but once he discussed Clinton he should have done the same about Trump and let the voters decide. His double standard only exacerbated the effect of the Russian influence.
  11. It's a dangerous time as the FBI continues its investigation of the Trump-Russia scandal. We know Russia influenced the election by their selective campaign against Clinton. But if Trump feels like they're getting close to showing a connection with his campaign, he could Wag the Dog and start a war to shift the attention. Given his pattern of lying and loss of credibility, it would be hard to believe him that it was necessary. Even if the intelligence agencies came to him with evidence that action was needed, he's said that they've been wrong before and compared their actions to the Nazis, so why would he believe them now? In either scenario, Trump has created a dangerous situation when serious decisions may be needed because of his own lack of self-control.
  12. It wasn't just rhetoric, it was a policy proposal which he then asked Giuliani how to legally implement once he took office. “So when [Trump] first announced it, he said, 'Muslim ban.' He called me up. He said, 'Put a commission together. Show me the right way to do it legally.' " https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/01/29/trump-asked-for-a-muslim-ban-giuliani-says-and-ordered-a-commission-to-do-it-legally/?utm_term=.064817701d41
  13. From one of the people Trump appears to depend on for his "facts". Sean Hannity implied that the federal judge in Hawaii who put a hold on President Donald Trump’s travel ban may have shared marijuana and “a little blow” with former President Barack Obama. Further, he suggested U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson should recuse himself because of it. “This judge who issued the travel ban ruling is an Obama law school classmate,” Hannity said on his radio show Thursday. “Maybe he should have recused himself from the case. Just a maybe? Were they best friends in Hawaii? Were they part of the Choom Gang, smoking pot and hanging out and doing a little bit of weed and maybe even a little blow?” Media Matters, which posted audio of the comments, notes that right-wing media have been pushing a conspiracy theory that Obama was involved in stopping Trump’s travel ban. Obama admitted to smoking marijuana in his youth in his book Dreams of My Father. The “Choom Gang” is a reference to a nickname Obama and some of his pot-smoking friends in Hawaii called themselves, according to David Maraniss’ biography, Barack Obama: The Story. There is no indication that Watson was part of it, nor did Hannity indicate why that would be cause for recusal since Obama is not a party to the lawsuit over the travel ban. Watson was nominated to the U.S. District Court in 2012 by Obama. The two both graduated from Harvard Law School in 1991, along with Judge Neil Gorsuch, Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/hannity-travel-ban-judge_us_58cb5edae4b00705db4e006b? So if as Hannity implies, just being a classmate of Obama is cause enough for someone to recuse themself from the travel ban case, will he make a similar request of Gorsuch if the case comes before him in the Supreme Court?
  14. How many other residences did the Obama's have when they lived in the White House?
  15. I agree that Flynn is a chump, and it just exemplifies how bad a decision Trump made in selecting him as NSA. And if not for the public disclosure of his lying to Pence which embarrassed Trump into firing him, Flynn would still be the compromised NSA.
  16. "So-called President" Trump is learning that what candidate Trump said has consequences. Another self-inflicted wound.
  17. Watch Trump avoid questions today about his controversial and detrimental comments about Merkel and NATO. Only allowing two questions each at presser. Trump will probably call on FoxNews and Breitbart for questions. Way to stand up and defend your comments.
  18. Pick one residence for the taxpayers to pay to protect. Trump Tower or Mar-a-lago. Then he should pay for any additional.
  19. Of course they didn't work for Trump for several months. He's been in office for less than two. Just since Jan 20. "I'm not Inspector Gadget...". Hmm...
  20. Numbnutz, I didnt blame the Repubs for the current ACA, which is not a failure. They are to blame if they just repeal and replace instead of working with the Dems who acknowledge it needs modifications to build upon its success for long-term viability. Then the 24 million more without insurance will be on the Repubs.
  21. You're right, the Justice Dept didn't provide Congress with the requested proof that Obama wiretapped Trump.
