  1. Some folks are born made to wave the flag Ooh, they're red, white and blue And when the band plays "Hail to the chief" Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son, son It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no Some folks are born silver spoon in hand Lord, don't they help themselves, oh But when the taxman comes to the door Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no millionaire's son, no It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no
  2. I was surprised at how long it went on before any security showed up. I assumed in this age of mass violence that Disney had cameras covering all of the park, and security ready to show up in a minute.
  3. She was a be-bop baby on a hard day's nightShe was hangin' on Johnny, he was holdin' on tightI could feel her coming from a mile awayThere was no use talking, there was nothing to sayWhen the band began to play and playAnd we danced like a wave on the ocean, romancedWe were liars in love and we dancedSwept away for a moment by chanceAnd we danced and danced and danced
  4. In a little while from now If I'm not feeling any less sour I promise myself to treat myself And visit a nearby tower And climbing to the top Will throw myself off In an effort to Make it clear to whoever Wants to know what it's like When you're shattered Left standing in the lurch at a church Were people saying, My God, that's tough She stood him up No point in us remaining We may as well go home As I did on my own Alone again, naturally
  5. Go away little girl Go away little girl I'm not supposed to be alone with you Oh yes I know that your lips are sweet But our lips must never meet I belong to somebody else and I must be true. Please go away little girl Go away little girl It's hurting me more each minute that you delay When you are near me like this You're much too hard to resist So go away little girl before I beg you to stay.
  6. You can tell the world you never was my girl You can burn my clothes up when I'm gone You can tell your friends just what a fool I've been And laugh and joke about me on the phone You can tell my arms go back to the farm You can tell my feet to hit the floor Or you can tell my lips to tell my fingertips They won't be reaching out for you no more But don't tell my heart My achy breaky heart I just don't think he'd understand And if you tell my heart My achy breaky heart He might blow up and kill this man

  8. The screen door slams, Mary's dress waves Like a vision she dances across the porch as the radio plays Roy Orbison singing for the lonely Hey, that's me and I want you only Don't turn me home again, I just can't face myself alone again Don't run back inside, darling, you know just what I'm here for So you're scared and you're thinking that maybe we ain't that young anymore Show a little faith, there's magic in the night You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright Oh, and that's alright with me You can hide 'neath your covers and study your pain Make crosses from your lovers, throw roses in the rain Waste your summer praying in vain For a savior to rise from these streets Well now, I ain't no hero, that's understood All the redemption I can offer, girl, is beneath this dirty hood With a chance to make it good somehow Hey, what else can we do now? Except roll down the window and let the wind blow back your hair Well, the night's busting open, these two lanes will take us anywhere We got one last chance to make it real To trade in these wings on some wheels Climb in back, heaven's waiting on down the tracks

  10. You're sailing softly through the sun In a broken stone age dawn You fly so high I get a strange magic Oh, what a strange magic Oh, it's a strange magic Got a strange magic Got a strange magic You're walking meadows in my mind Making waves across my time Oh no, oh no I get a strange magic Oh, what a strange magic Oh, it's a strange magic Got a strange magic Got a strange magic
  11. Ooh, you're givin' me the fever tonight I don't want to give in I'd be playin' with fire You forget, I've seen you work before Take 'em straight to the top Leave 'em cryin' for more I've seen you burn 'em before Fire and ice You come on like a flame Then you turn a cold shoulder Fire and ice I want to give you my love But you'll just take a little piece of my heart You'll just tear it apart

You were workin' as a waitress in a cocktail bar When I met you I picked you out, I shook you up and turned you around Turned you into someone new Now five years later on, you've got the world at your feet Success has been so easy for you But don't forget, it's me who put you where you are now And I can put you back down too Don't, don't you want me? 19. It's a late night show, on the radio Goin' down the road, with the wolf-man Lightnin' bugs all around, moonlight shinin' down On little sleepy towns, down in the flat-land I can still hear mama calling Son it's time to come on in And when the darkness started fallin' Everybody gathered 'round the table, amen. Mississippi Moon hanging in the haze I wish I never left you Spent enough time in the old rat race Goin' back down to the Delta

  24. My 87 year old mother had both knees replaced over a few years. First one went fine with no lingering pain. The doctor wanted to try a new procedure on the second, and after a year it still bothers her. But she’s 87. i just got diagnosed with a torn meniscus, but the doctor recommended I don’t have surgery if I can deal with the pain, because at my age it sometimes doesn’t improve.
