  1. People in front of me who stand for the whole concert. I’m 6’3” and I feel bad for people behind me because I have to stand to see. Self-absorbed drunk women over 40 who dress and dance like they’re in their 20s, and think they look good. People that yell and whistle during the songs. Extra long end of songs that drag out. Performers who leave the stage to drag out the applause for an encore. Just thank the audience and play the last song and that’s it.
  2. The Watchmen The Ten Commandments Sunset Boulevard Citizen Kane War of the Worlds The Incredible Shrinking Man
  3. Sometimes I feel I've got to Run away I've got to Get away from the pain that you drive into the heart of me The love we share Seems to go nowhere And I've lost my light For I toss and turn I can't sleep at night Once I ran to you (I ran) Now I'll run from you This tainted love you've given I give you all a boy could give you Take my tears and that's not nearly all Oh tainted love Tainted love
  4. I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
  5. People are strange When you're a stranger Faces look ugly When you're alone. Women seem wicked When you're unwanted Streets are uneven When you're down. When you're strange Faces come out of the rain When you're strange No one remembers your name When you're strange When you're strange When you're strange.
  6. I'm gonna hit the road, adios my friend Go someplace and start all over again Don't know where i'm going, like a gypsy out on the road I'll go someplace and join a traveling show Nobody left to run with anymore Nobody wants to do the crazy things we used to do before Nobody left to run with anymore
  7. I've been run down and I've been lied to. And I don't know why, I let that mean woman make me a fool. She took all my money, wrecks my new car. Now she's with one of my good time buddies, They're drinkin in some cross-town bar. Sometimes I feel, sometimes I feel, Like I been tied to the whippin' post. Tied to the whippin' post, tied to the whippin' post. Good Lord, I feel like I'm dyin'.
  8. How much is that doggie in the window? The one with the waggly tail How much is that doggie in the window? I do hope that doggie's for sale I read in the papers there are robbers With flashlights that shine in the dark My love needs a doggie to protect him And scare them away with one bark
  9. Can't you see oh can't you seeWhat that woman, she been doin' to me
  10. My pappy said, "Son, you're gonna' drive me to drinkin' If you don't stop drivin' that Hot Rod Lincoln." Have you heard this story of the Hot Rod Race When Fords and Lincolns was settin' the pace. That story is true, I'm here to say I was drivin' that Model A. It's got a Lincoln motor and it's really souped up. That Model A Vitimix makes it look like a pup. It's got eight cylinders; uses them all. It's got overdrive, just won't stall. With a 4-barrel carb and a dual exhaust, With 4.11 gears you can really get lost. It's got safety tubes, but I ain't scared. The brakes are good, tires fair.
  11. Actually they show integrity by correcting their mistake and showing Trump in the proper light.
  12. Roll, roll me away Won't you roll me away tonight I too am lost, I feel double-crossed And I'm sick of what's wrong and what's right We never even said a word We just walked out and got on that bike And we rolled And we rolled clean out of sight We rolled across the high plains Deep into the mountains Felt so good to me Finally feelin' free Somewhere along a high road The air began to turn cold She said she missed her home I headed on alone Stood alone on a mountain top Starin' out at the Great Divide I could go east, I could go west It was all up to me to decide Just then I saw a young hawk flyin' And my soul began to rise And pretty soon My heart was singin' Roll, roll me away I'm gonna roll me away tonight Gotta keep rollin', gotta keep ridin' Keep searchin' till I find what's right And as the sunset faded I spoke To the faintest first starlight And I said next time Next time We'll get it right
  13. In the early mornin' rain With a dollar in my hand With an aching in my heart And my pockets full of sand I'm a long ways from home And I missed my loved one so In the early mornin' rain With no place to go Out on runway number nine Big seven o seven set to go Well I'm stuck here on the grass Where the pavement never grows Now the liquor tasted good And the women all were fast There she goes my friend She'll be rolling down at last Hear the mighty engines roar See the silver wing on high She's away and westward bound Far above the clouds she'll fly Where the mornin' rain don't fall And the sun always shines She'll be flying over my home In about three hours time This ol' airport's got me down It's no earthly good to me And I'm stuck here on the ground As cold and drunk as I can be You can't jump a jet plane Like you can a freight train So I best be on my way In the early mornin' rain You can't jump a jet plane Like you can a freight train So I best be on my way In the early mornin' rain
  14. Friday night I crashed your party Saturday I said I'm sorry Sunday came and trashed me out again I was only having fun Wasn't hurting any one And we all enjoyed the weekend for a change I've been stranded in the combat zone I walked through Bedford Stuy alone Even rode my motorcycle in the rain And you told me not to drive But I made it home alive So you said that only proves that I'm insane You may be right I may be crazy But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for Turn out the light Don't try to save me You may be wrong for all I know But you may be right
  15. Was ridin' along side the highway, Rollin' up the countryside. Thinkin' I'm the devil's heatwave, What you burn in your crazy mind? Saw a slight distraction Standin' by the road. She was smilin' there, yellow in her hair. "Do you wanna, " I was thinkin', "would you care?" Sweet hitch-a-hiker, We could make music at the Greasy King. Sweet hitch-a-hiker, Won't you ride on my fast machine? Cruisin' on thru the junction, I'm flyin' 'bout the speed of sound. Noticin' peculiar function, I ain't no roller coaster; show me down. I turned away to see her, Whoa, she caught my eye. But I was rollin' down, movin' too fast. "Do you wanna, " she was thinkin', "can it last?" Sweet hitch-a-hiker, We could make music at the Greasy King. Sweet hitch-a-hiker, Won't you ride on my fast machine?
  16. A candy-colored clown they call the sandman Tiptoes to my room every night Just to sprinkle stardust and to whisper "Go to sleep. Everything is all right." I close my eyes, then I drift away Into the magic night, I softly say A silent prayer like dreamers do Then I fall asleep to dreams, my dreams of you In dreams I walk with you, in dreams I talk to you In dreams you're mine, all of the time We're together in dreams, in dreams But just before the dawn, I awake and find you gone I can't help it, I can't help it, if I cry I remember that you said goodbye It's too bad that all these things Can only happen in my dreams Only in dreams, in beautiful dreams
  17. Will you have whiskey with your water Or sugar with your tea What are these crazy questions That they're asking of me This is the craziest party That there ever could be Oh, don't turn on the light 'Cause I don't want to see Mama told me not to come Mama told me not to come That ain't the way to have fun Open up the window Let some air into this room I think I'm almost choking from The smell of stale perfume And that cigarette you're smoking 'Bout to scare me half to death Open up the window sucka Let me catch my breath Mama told me not to come Mama told me not to come That ain't the way to have fun, son That ain't the way to have fun, son
  18. Well I remember every little thingAs if it happened only yesterdayParking by the lake and there was not another car in sightAnd I never had a girlLooking any better than you didAnd all the kids at schoolThey were wishing they were me that nightAnd now our bodies are oh so close and tightIt never felt so good, it never felt so rightAnd we're glowing like the metal on the edge of a knifeGlowing like the metal on the edge of a knifeC'mon hold on tightOh c'mon hold on tightThough it's cold and lonely in the deep dark nightI can see paradise by the dashboard light
  19. There's a tear in my beer Cause I'm cryin for you, dear You are on my lonely mind Into these last nine beers I have shed a million tears You are on my lonely mind I'm gonna keep drinkin' Until I'm petrified And then maybe, these tears will leave my eyes There's a tear in my beer 'Cause I'm cryin' for you, dear You are on my lonely mind
  20. Oh! Darling, please believe me I'll never do you no harm Believe me when I tell you I'll never do you no harm Oh! Darling, if you leave me I'll never make it alone Believe me when I beg you Don't ever leave me alone When you told me you didn't need me anymore Well you know I nearly broke down and cried When you told me you didn't need me anymore Well you know I nearly broke down and died Oh! Darling, if you leave me I'll never make it alone Believe me when I tell you I'll never do you no harm, believe me darlin'
  21. I've been lonely too long, I've been lonely too long In the past it's come and gone, I feel like I can't go on without love. I've been lonely too long. (He's been lonely too long.) I've been lonely too long. (He's been lonely.) As I look back, I can see me lost and searching. Now I find that I can choose, I'm free. Oh, Yeah! So funny I just have to laugh, All my troubles been torn in half. I been lonely too long. (He's been lonely too long.) Lonely too long. (He's been lonely.)
  22. Ooh, you're givin' me the fever tonight I don't want to give in I'd be playin' with fire You forget, I've seen you work before Take 'em straight to the top Leave 'em cryin' for more I've seen you burn 'em before Fire and ice You come on like a flame Then you turn a cold shoulder Fire and ice I want to give you my love But you'll just take a little piece of my heart You'll just tear it apart
