  1. Team Work horse = Freddie Jackson Team Jack Ass = Jason Peters
  2. If Edwards would have played this Sunday, he would have broken his leg and BOOM - out for the season - THERE, blessing in disguise. It's all good!
  3. This has been my only concern the whole time this has been going on. I continue to think that somehow this is going to cost us in the Seattle game.
  4. What a great show they have going on there. After listening to some of those parents, it is next to impossible to resist donation. Every little bit adds up pretty quickly!!!
  5. I agree. It was like he was BARELY going through the motions. I really hope this line keeps Trent healthy
  6. It is too late to bring in anyone. That is why I said this should have been taken care of months ago.
  7. Both of these remind me of a horrible regime in Buffalo Bills history. Yea, I know, Jp is a great guy and has handled the whole situation like a true professional. I don't disagree but we should have brought in a veteran QB months ago and let JP try to prove his worth elsewhere. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that if Edwards ever goes down, the season is shot. Peters......hurry up you S.O.B. There, did I mask this thread enough so it did not come across as another Peters topic.........
  8. I would but I am a little too busy flirting mith my countless girlfriends in the Niagara Falls Region!!
  9. No link - I have a buddy in St. Louis who mentioned it to me yesterday. He is not the biggest Rams fan so that is why I was wondering if anyone else heard rumblings of this.
  10. I don't know if anyone will read this since it reads I have under 100 posts but....did anyone hear or read that Steven Jackson was getting fed up with his agent. ps - I have been a member since 2005 but had to send last computer back to previous company....So now you have to read it!!!
  11. How damaging is it that everyone has been switching positions on the line? The part that really annoys me is that when Peters does come back, all of the gelling is going to take place in the true season where it could have been ironed out before they took the field in Game 1. I honestly see this hold out turning a W into an L at some point.
  12. if he does not feel like he can at least show his face at camp to start working on a new deal then he can sit and rot for the next 3 years. Have fun!!
  13. I watched that last night and felt the EXACT same way. He had a look and tone that made me think he wanted to retire right there on the spot. Although he will never admit it, if he could do it all over again, no way is he playing football right now. It was just painful watching him sit through the whole media session. Too bad his memory could not have been an MVP type year in Green Bay. He was one of my favorites as well and 16 great years have been tarnished for Green Bay fans and Favre fans alike.
  14. I think that one positive is that the Rams have taken the exact same stance that the Bills have and told Stephen jackson that nothing will be done until he reports to camp. Maybe this Eugene Parker charactor will realize that his hardball tactics are not going to work
  15. I think Cleveland is a good team but no way will they make the Playoffs with their schedule....
  16. The best part about the wings is that they have the perfect crisipiness to them - must ry
  17. Best pizza in the city is Mr Pizza and I CANNOT believe that nobody has mentioned the Bar Bill in East Aurora for wings - hands down the best wings I have ever had in my life!!
  18. Maybe it sounded stupid but I got my answer... thanks for the pm #89
  19. Well I guess it was stupid to think that anyone on here actually had some connections with any ex-players. So much for the short cut
  20. I'll try to make this quick....I seem to be the contact person here in Buffalo to find out the best route to find investor information for the Buffalo Bills. I am close to the person who is inquiring and I figure that Jim Kelly would be the best guy to call. Do you think he would be the ringleader or do you have other suggestions. I don't know much about this process but this is very legit in the event the Bills are ever sold. I know Jim Kelly had mentioned he rounded up some investors so that is why I thought he would be the best lead. Obviously I will not mention the name of this person but I can say that he is one of the most respected hedge fund managers in the U.S. He would not be going in solo. It's proabably a one in a million shot but I'll help in any process that could help keep this team here. Feel free to pm if you do not want to mention names on here. Thanks for any help
  21. I will go the thumper route on this one but I would be lying if I said I didn't laugh out loud with a few of these responses.
  22. I hope the Bills org REALLY steps it up and delivers a tremendous tribute to Tim Russert for the opener.
  23. I am 37 and have been attending Sabres and Bills games since I was about 10 years old. This has been the first off season for both teams (and there are still 3 months left) where the waiting has been killing me. It seems like FOREVER since Sabres or Bills have played. What I can't understand is that my passion for these teams gets stronger every year. I am afraid that I won't make it to 40 if this keeps up!! I figured this would get easier as I got older but it turns out to be the complete opposite. The best part is that I would have it no other way!! I would love a championship and some day it will happen. Until then, I will continue to enjoy each and every season. Can't wait to tip one back for Timmy on opening day!!
  24. I can't remember the last time I have been taken back by such news. Very sad
  25. I don't think he would have gone to jail if he had just confessed the next day. I believe that his punishment will be worse as this lingers. Someone WILL start talking - they always do
