I recall watching multiple games coached by Billick in his final year (I believe one was against us) and thinking this guy makes worse gameday decisions than the idiots we have here. I would rather take a stab at an up and coming offensive minded guy who is known to be a great QB teacher than Billick.

No matter what, I believe the Bills should draft a QB in first or second AND pick up a veteran in FA. Let all these guys compete for the job in the off season and hopefully one of them pans out. Maybe Brohm or Edwards could be coached up - who knows. Only the strong will survive next year so that is a great thing. Nix has already let more fresh air into this organization in one day than the last 10 years combined.

No reason not to like him...I just pray that they bring the right coach in here.

Oh well, hopefully some good changes in the off season.....

Yes, I know how much you loved that. I have put myself through plenty of boring games in the past but this would top all if Fitz is leading the way. Everything walkout related was strictly Jauron being the coach. Nothing will ever bother me as much as when he was here.....

If they even think about throwing Fitz out there, nobody is utilizing my tickets. THey won't get parking, concessions, etc, et, etc.... Perry, go out on a high note because if you start Fitz, you look no better than Jauron. You are already doing a pretty good imitation by punting on the Falcons 40 and kicking a field goal to avoid the shutout.

See, the way I view it is that if there really was inactivity, they would be throwing tidbits out there to ease the masses. I believe something is getting done right now and it will not be much longer until something is announced. Something is in the air over there and for the first time in a long while, it is going to be a relief to hear.

Something big is going on over there at One Bills Drive and now that it looks like Carolina job is not opening, I truly believe Bills are putting all their eggs in the Cowher basket. Could the contact with Charlie Weiss be as OC under Cowher? 10 mill plus power in a starved organization? What I want to know is why not? I have been let down more times than I can count and I am believing that we are going to hear big news soon. If it does not happen, oh well. This season has been over for some time and I am looking forward to the announcement of Cowher as HC and person in control of draft day decisions / FA. The rebirth is coming soon as they run out of that tunnel in 2010 with a new engine and throwbacks to boot.

I think this is a GREAT point. The players that Buffalo draft either come out as studs or duds (more of the latter). You RARELY hear of xyz player developing into a Pro Bowler. This is a major problem that has existed for quite some time.

Well it looks like HC is being hired before GM (not too sure why). If that is the case and it REALLY is what they are doing, I suppose I am fine with it (Weiss I mean). This offense is SO God awful that they have to find someone with an offense mind. If there was any way to get Clausen in here as well, I would be MORE than fine with it. This team is so incredibly boring and the faster they grab someone, the better. The more openings that surface after next week, the less chances the Bills will have of getting anyone worth a damn. Ideally, I would love to have a GM who could target an up and coming offensive coach but with idiots like Guy and Modrak still holding court, who knows if it will ever get done. Just do Something to change the most boring product in the NFL.

Gerald McCoy is the DT I was talking about not Colt McCoy. I am really starting to like the sound of McClain as we have been missing that stud LB ever since Spikes was injured. The reason I did not list other OTs and QBs is because they are probably off the board.

If they are all there, who do you pick. I have to admit, I would be happy with any of them and I think it is a lock that one of these guys will be the pick.

Never wanted Holmgren as a GM, only coach. ESPN went over his track record and besides 2-3 players, it was garbage.

Although, I do think Kelly and his investors have something going on, it sounded like the MAJORITY of what Thurman was hinting at had to do with personnel.

That is exactly what it sounded like to me.....

He is definitely involved in something over there and unless he is lying, he is pretty well informed.....

And if you read between the lines, he is very confident that people are going to be happy when this off-season commences. There are MAJOR changes that will happen so I will just be crossing my fingers as the first couple weeks of January take place......He obviously has a lot of inside info as he even stated that he believes he will have some input on the situation

Not worth it in my opinion

I can honestly say there is not one player on this team worth the tag.
