  1. I will buy the remaining merchandise at that crap store of theirs if indeed this ends up happening (well maybe not the jerseys)
  2. Throw the same bank at john Fox (an offer he can't refuse) and let Cowher slither to Carolina...done and done
  3. Change it to Buffalo Fans Want Anybody Who Will Take The Job
  4. It's over. It is so over with that guy. Time to figure out who the best coordinator will be and my vote goes to Brian Schottenheimer
  5. Whether Buffalo has their guy in mind or not, the Cowher thing needs to be stomped out. Obviously, it's not happening and the Bills have looked brutally desperate throughout this whole search (other coaches included....Shanahan, Gruden). Tell Cowher they are moving on and go hire one of the top Coordinators on their list. Frazier is really the only one I don't want and I won't pretend to know much about others. Brian Schott or Harbaugh seem like good candidates to me but we'll see.
  6. Precisely what I am afraid of...I am starting to think that Frazier really is the guy that will be coming here...ughhh
  7. I have always thought that if the Bills were not getting an A Lister, then it would be great to get an up an comer...it is obviously tougher to nail the latter.....If they were to do that, than I would rather get a guy with the offensive mindset.
  8. Other than Sanchez (who it looks has come along great under his plan), who has Brian worked with? Maybe have him target a QB in the draft and have him come along a little slower than Sanchez. If he sees a guy who is worthy of a top 10 pick, have him tell Nix that he needs to get him at all costs. Depending on what is done with our O line next year, either let him sit and learn under a FA pick-up or get him in later in the year. Anyhow, I think his plan in this playoff game has been superb. Obviously he has a top line to work with so he knows the importance of putting one together. If Nix does go after a Coordinator, I would like to see how his interview goes....
  9. They need to bring in a teacher and a guy who is known to have worked with QBs. They need a guy who (like Shanahan) brings the Offense to the head of the table. If it turns out to be someone other than that type, I would rather have someone attached to the Offensive line who realizes the importance of that area as well as the QB...
  10. It seems as though Cowher is hanging on for dear life for other jobs to open up or else it's Buffalo or CBS. Even though Ralph has screwed a lot of things up with this organization, he is right to say he would like to have someone here who is on a mission and not a mercy call. Having said that, if Cowher does not come, I just hope that Buddy Nix can find someone who has got an offensive mind for things and brings a whole change of attitude to this team. Along with his demeanor, defensive mind and Pro Bowl players he has, Frazier appears to be everything I don't want as a Head Coach. Take as long as you want for all I care, just don't go and hire the first realistic guy you interview.
  11. I suggested McNabb last week and think it should DEFINITELY be something they try very hard to do. Throw Lynch over there with a draft pick, draft a QB in the second round, hire a top notch coach and bam..voila! It's easy right?
  12. Now that the Cleveland Job is gone for Fox, Cowher really does not have much of anything. Instead of taking the CBS job and HOPING more jobs open up next year, he could take this year to get a full season under his belt in Buffalo. Wherever he would go next year would mean starting from scratch and another year away from football. Take the Buffalo job now and your QB (whoever that will be) will be off and running in YOUR system by 2011.
  13. The situation in Carolina is resolved. Clearly Cowher wants that job as badly as the Bills want Cowher so until that is clarified, Buffalo is not getting any answers.
  14. You know damn well he is going to be picked at #8
  15. There are a couple can't miss guys in the top 5 and if this guy is available at #9, it would be a giant step for the defense. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writ...ex.html?cnn=yes
  16. These guys have struck out so many times with players and coaches which explains why everyone might be a liiiiiiiiittle gun-shy when it comes to a guy without proven track record.
  17. I just wish we could get someone with an offensive mind in here. If this team is going to miss the playoffs every year, can they at least be fun to watch. I can't take another year on offense like the one we just experienced.
  18. This is exactly why I believe there is the slightest glimmer of hope that Cowher is a possibility. If not Cowher, I believe the Bills already know who the next coach is going to be. Otherwise, I believe Billick would at least get an interview. Maybe one of their targets has already said yes but Buddy is waiting on Cowher's final answer. As soon as Cowher gives no, their other target will get hired.
  19. Drafting a LT is still priority number one but you can still get a decent QB in Round 2 or 3 (Unless someone they love falls to them at 9)
  20. I would think that they could ask him who he might want the Bills to go after. Cowher tells them 3 or 4 guys and the Bills do whatever they need to do to go after said player. You would think drafting a QB, Brohm, certain free agents or an up and coming back up would allow someone to step up and take the job. If Philly sees Kolb as their next guy, maybe see what it would take to get McNabb while he is still worth something. If not, see what it would take to get a Kolb like person. Anyhow, I think that there has to be way to get a decent QB in here even if it means giving up some future draft picks. I think Nix is going to do a good job, Cowher would be insane and the rest just falls into place. I think the QB thing could be fixed so if he does not take the job, he REALLY does not want to come here. (Vick / similar to Cordell Stewart)?? I kid I kid
  21. I am fine with not getting Cowher but I would honestly like to get an up and coming coordinator more than Billick. I just never thought he was that great of a coach.
  22. I don't know what to believe. Hopefully not this....
  23. now hire Cowher and his staff, get throwbacks full time and you can cancel Christmas!
  24. The fact that the Bills have the 9th pick and there are 9 players that would fill major holes immediately is a great sign. I don't believe any of these would be considered a reach....... QBs Clausen Bradford OTs Okung Bruce Campbell Bryan Bulaga Trent Williams DTs Suh McCoy LB McClain
  25. Houston or Buffalo.......that would be a bad loss if it came down to these two. I would love to get Fox out of this somehow.....if Carolina opened up
