I hate Dick Jauron more and more every day of my life. This is the icing on the cake and everything I always thought about his ability to coach.....................

I loved when the Sabres played the Bruins (even though they lost)in the first round because I want to hate Boston again. During my ticket draft, those were some of the first games I picked....Remember when the Buffalo fans rolled over the Dolphin bus years ago after the game - that is the kind of hatred I want between the division foes (maybe not to that extreme) but you know what I mean.

And the rivalry that comes when teams compete for divisions and playoff games is what I miss most. I would love to have what the Jets and Patriots have now...pure hatred. Sure, lots of people around here hate the Patriots (including myself) but there is zero emotion on the other side of the fence because the Pats and their fans have zero respect for the Bills. Hopefully this new regime will take a step closer to respectability and can create their own history along the way.....

If there is still a question at QB at the end of this year and they don't pick one in the 1st round next year - that's it. Either grab one with a top 5pick or trade up to get the guy you want. The QB search needs to finally end once and for all....

Maybin has quickly turned into one of my LEAST favorite Bills ever....not his fault but still....

Loved Stroud and Williams last night. I still cannot believe Maybin was drafted in the first round let alone as high as we got him. I honestly don't think he will ever do anything for this team. There is invisible and then there is invisible against 3rd stringers. That pick is going to bug me for a long time....even worse than Whitner.

I don't want to bring in any QB that might accidentally win 6 games without being the permanent answer - Clemens, no thanks. I'll take my 2-3 wins with Trent and make sure that QB in the draft does not get away again....

It won't be awful as long as you .... 1) live in Buffalo and have a solid tradition of tailgating with friends 2) Realize that this team is going to be uhhhh, no so good 3) Have hope that the franchise QB is going to be on this team next year

This was precisely why I made this thread......The Bills have none of the 3 most important pieces to a football team..NONE. Not too tough to figure out why they are where they are.....

....for a team that looks like the Bills right now. You add these three pieces and finally, the playoff talk can begin. What is so painful to think about is that these 3 pieces are by far the hardest to obtain. It is too bad that Jauron was not let go one year earlier as at least the LT or DE could have been filled......

I think they should just get a LT AFTER Edwards is knocked out for the season..............

If anyone on this planet really thought for one second that he was not going to play....please do not admit it. Secondly, the NFL is a million times better with Favre playing so who cares how he approaches the game.

I don't think people are "freaking out", I think people just realize that this team is going to do pretty much what they thought and that is fine. A year like this one coming up has been looming for quite some time and it is just as well that we get it over with and understand the re-build is in full swing. As long as we have a QB by this time next year, all will be good......

Can someone PLEASE explain why this team would ever take a spot away from one of the young guys. People NEED to understand that this team is not going to the Super Bowl this year and that they are in the process of finally building it the right way.....

thanks, great info - I hope more and more people keep saying Edwards and Johnson look good because it sounds a lot more encouraging from a week ago. It would be nice to be able to focus on the line next off-season knowing that Edwards made a miraculous turnaround. LT, OLB, QB are the 3 biggest holes with QB obviously taking the longest to develop. Wouldn't it be nice to skip that step.....

That's funny you just mentioned that because I just started a thread recommending that.....

Instead of just going through the motions and not revealing anything to the opposition, don't you think this would be a good year to really practice the playbook and take full advantage of these games. Maybe hide some of the running schemes since that will be the majority of the playbook but how about really giving Trent as much real game experience as possible. This is the first season ever for me where I have zero expectations and my main thought process is just improving each game. It is a win win this season as this is Trent's last chance. If he actually turns it around and can run this offense, great. If he goes down in a ball of flames, 2011 draft will be the most important one since Kelly retired.

Settle down there sparky - the guy had an opinion. For all anyone knows $$ could have played a factor. Maybe with a rookie cap, the thought process would have been different.....

That always goes without saying....The point is there are a lot of interesting teams this year

Jets - can they handle the pressure Bengals - the O will be very fun to watch Cowboys - Super Bowl in Dallas Patriots - love to hate Vikings - Favre Washington - McNabb Baltimore - may be the NFLs most complete team... Saints - repeat? should be some entertaining football this year

He is really the only guy on the team that I like enough to get a jersey. I figure that even if he has a short career, he represents what I think a Buffalo Bill to be....
