Solidifying your line and getting a TE that has been missing for the past 10 years is not exactly T.O. What I am saying is that it is a win win for fans AND management (if they have a clue)
Who needs LBs in a 3-4? Oh yea, we do. I am just thinking that they could secure two giant holes this year and then draft the LB of need next year. I think they believe a younger guy will step up this year and who knows. This year is pretty much a wash so get two guys on your radar while you can. If the Jets sign asogmowa or whatever the Hell his name is, the best available TE is going to be a MUST.
Seriously, throw a ton at these two positions and be done with it. I bet fans would be happy and they can rinse their hands of free agency. Put the rest into resigning or extending their own and be done with it.....
This is NOT Nix's plan, it is the Golisano / Ralph plan of not spending money if you don't have to.....What in the world do you people expect. NOTHING will change until there is a new owner and that is not something I encourage either as the Bills may move to where that owner wants them.
IT IS WHAT IT IS! Go tot the tailgates, watch some football but DON'T expect a winning team....you will enjoy the season much more.
Oh my, will the %$#^ hit the fan if he agrees to go to the Jets. I might just have to listen to WGR tomorrow just to hear the butchering this team is going to get....This will truly turn comical if they lose Florence to a team 8 mill over the cap....
what is so tough to figure out? The Buffalo Bills organization is looked at as one of the 3 biggest dump piles in the league. Tell me one good reason why a FA WOULD want to play here? No proven QB, no playoffs in a decade, a bush league front office, a meddling owner and uncertainty of the teams future. It is what it is - they have to nail the drafts. Have you noticed that the only reason QBs come here is because they have a chance to start.....Hey, I go to all the games and support this team but come on, to act surprised is just foolish.
If people really did not see this coming (going to another team), you are truly blind to the Bills organization. Once he hit the market, it was over and the Bills never had a chance. They will probably over-pay like you wouldn't believe for Florence now. If they do lose both, it would not be too shocking but I expect a HEAVY offer for Florence...
I think you might be happier following the Sabres this year because the Bills will most likely sign Florence, lose Poz and fill in some depth positions.
Sign Florence and Poz, get rid of the rest of the garbage and then sign a ton of quality depth that could be potential starters. Buffalo will not go after top level FAs so don't expect it....
I think that would be a slap in the face to every Sabre on that team who was here when Drury left. If that guy ever comes back to Buffalo, it would have to be as a 4th line C at 1.5 million for one year (and DEFINITELY no Captain status)
I think people that hate on places like DHgate are upset about spending so much money on an authentic. I bought one throwback from some place like DHgate (can't remember) and I could not tell any difference to the real thing (except saving over $200)
I will not be there nor do I have a real desire to be but I have no problem with people who want to attend. Different strokes for different folks and if checking out the new unis is what floats their boat, so be it....
I heard Florio as well and if Ralph does not have something lined up already, I think this team is as good as gone. It sounds like all the small market teams are going to be squeezed out whether it takes 2,5,10 or 20 years. Someone like Pegula is the only one that can save them now (someone who does not take too much stock in profits). It really is quite disturbing that Ralph won't even give fans the slightest hint as to what may happen to this team when he dies......
I know, just kidding. Keep up the good search my friend - it took me 7 years on Ebay until I finally found the Sabres jersey of my dreams (3 months ago). It was the 70/71 version with the REALLY old buffalo and tie down front.............
The fact that the NFL actually plays a big role in my job (tickets, suites, appearances, hospitality, etc...), I hope that this gets done sooner rather than later. Oh yeah, I also want tailgaiting to start on time!!
Personally, I totally disagree. If they make me pay the season ticket (1/2 season cost) in order to hold on to the seats, I will. If they give an opt out, I won't attend one single game...
Also, if the NFL does this, they better give season ticket holders the option to take a year off and not be forced to pay for the 4 crap games. I have ZERO interest in paying OR attending a shortened season......
