  1. No need to make it so black and white...it IS possible to have a team, make it competitive AND still make many millions every year
  2. Although I deleted the Topic I started last week about good news coming, I can say that VERY good things will be happening soon with ownership. It will still take a little while to change the culture but at least the team will be safe.
  3. Oh my goodness, this is just an awful, awful idea. Those old unis were the worst in professional sports.....
  4. I believe we all have some of the OP's passion and optimism for this team or we would not be on a Buffalo Bills message board. The thing that really, REALLY Ps me off though is when this organization time and time again displays the idiotic and inept ability to reward players that don't deserve it. Last year it was Kelsay, forever it was Modrak and now this Fred Jackson thing just shows how incompetent they truly are....Get a freaking clue management or get out of the organization...I honestly feel that I could make better decisions on the first teamers than they do.
  5. Per below, the cons on Pryor look worse than what we saw in JP..... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/tony_pauline/08/22/scouting.supplemental.draft/index.html?xid=cnnbin&hpt=hp_bn10
  6. The offensive line is just a complete mess and looks to have regressed. When you can't block, you can't block (does not matter what the scheme is or how vanilla the look is). They should have thrown even more money at Clabo and not worried about people saying they overpaid. The bottom line is that this offense is going to be in the bottom 5 in the league and until the Oline is addressed, the playoffs will always seem to be in the distant future....It will not be like this forever and once the organization is in new hands, the tide will turn....
  7. And something we can ALL celebrate when the time comes (and it is coming)
  8. How about actually drafting a future franchise QB in Round one and 6 offensive linemen......this may be the only way to fix this offense once and for all. You either have incredible depth at the line which would be a great problem to have or you trade one or two that step up for other needs....
  9. If you asked a lot of players and coaches, I would not be too surprised if one out of every 3 said Buffalo was the worst franchise. It is what it is and hopefully change is coming sooner than later. The thing is....for Buffalo, pretty much EVERYTHING has to go right for them to have a successful season.
  10. We may be two positions away but those positions in my mind are owner and QB...............
  11. Anything to make the Bills season more interesting is welcomed by me.
  12. I could have sworn that said something else before.....hmmmmmm
  13. I wonder if a Bills 2nd Rounder could do it....
  14. The Bills will have too high of a pick to risk that, I bet the Jets throw it at them since it should be in the late 20s for a pick. Would love to have a pass rush here though......
  15. Just trade Dareus for a 2nd rounder next year so they can free up more cap space to re-extend Kelsay and add more years to Chan's contract - Hey, it's the Bills way! Wheeeeeee
  16. These not so far off sentiments really have to be delusional at best. This team is the only one around that seems to peak at 7-9 each year only to get worse after more draft and FA years. Not far off? Really? Look at the division the Bills are in....you are most likely looking at 5 out of 6 losses right off the bat. They have not beaten the Patriots in 1,000 tries and the Patriots just stacked themselves even more yesterday. Until someone in that organization builds an elite line, gets an actual NFL pass rush and lands a playoff QB, the Bills will be staring up at a 10 win season forever. Really, ask yourself when the last time you entered the season thinking they would make the playoffs. Any time they have been close, you look back at the wins and they were always against #$it-bag teams. Nobody would be on this board if they did not love the Bills but come on, this team is void of any star talent.....
  17. I know the state of this organization is bottom of the league status and I accept that every single year. Emotions ran out a long time ago. I can't even get geared up for Home Openers anymore. I still go, have a great tailgate and leave after what usually is a loss. Fine...BUT this free agency period every year is the one thing that pisses me off every time because every team in our division gets better every year while the Bills just sit there like they don't even belong in the NFL. It seems every year that FAs pathetically leverage against the Bills to get more money from the team that knew they were going to pick the whole time. Yes, this team is bad but come on, to get slapped in the face every year just puts the sting back time and time again. Get FA over with so at least the that HOPE of getting a Pro Bowler is over until next year. This organization REALLY needs the silver bullet which is a top ranked QB and until that happens, I just don't see them turning the corner. There are too many obstacles for this organization to overcome and I just don't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hey, the new unis will look sharp though (and that is not sarcasm). See ya at the opener! Now go get a Tight End!!!!!!
  18. maybe the Bills can get a 4th string QB to compete with the new toy Chan just signed.....These idiots REALLY need to start drafting better because they ain't gettin' jack in FA.
  19. Keep throwing more money at Clabo until he can't say no......
  20. BRING IT! Bills need to run, run and run some more on the left, middle AND right side of the lines!
  21. Yes, I think I can agree with that....sooooo, I would think Clabo is going to make the call today right? All I really want is a SOLID line and this would go a looong way in establishing that.
  22. Look at the thread title and you tell me....
  23. Can we PLEASE keep this about Clabo and not who has the better nightlife!
  24. Once again, the AFC East gets stronger and stronger as each team plays off the other teams moves. A real organization would try and counter either in the draft or FA to try and keep up and then you have the Bills who drift further and fuuuuuurther away. I guess I'll just be content to have a team in Buffalo - why bother competing
  25. I don't pretend to know more than these guys but some things are so freakin' obvious, it's pathetic. These moves would not be to please the fans for the sake of it, they would please the fans because the team would actually be better (what a concept)!
