You know, every person who I have talked to that followed EJ in college has said the same thing - and here we have a professional scouting staff that does not have a freaking clue when it comes to QB talent.....

I may be way off base here but that offense line played like they didn't care if EJ was standing or lying down at the end of the play. This coaching staff HAS to have a QB that they can open up the playbook for and one that can actually throw the ball around the field. I would rather see 300 yard games and 4 interceptions every week than this weak, pussyfooted, inaccurate pass game that will never get wins in todays NFL. Between the lack of QB talent on the Bills and the lack of Center talent on the Sabres, I have to wonder if ANYONE in this city has a clue how to win in THE NFL and NHL....

Nothing has changed from over a decade ago to today. The talent IS on this team and unfortunately, QB is not one of those positions that has it. Let's face it, this outcome yesterday was etched in stone the moment that field goal went through in Toronto. This team packed it in after the Atlanta loss and you know what, I am not sure who to point the finger at for that. I don't think any coach was going to get this team out of the funk that lingered. Marrone even stated that he was very interested to see how the team responded this week. Well, he saw what most of us knew was going to happen. The bottom line is that this team has zero confidence with EJ at the helm and I can't blame them for that. I am not one to say cut EJ flat out but there is no way in Hell that Buffalo should not be drafting a QB in round 1 or 2 next year. You then try and bring in someone like Cutler and he competes with EJ and new draft pick. This team has way too much talent to spin their wheels on QB any longer. Nobody will care if it might look like you made a mistake drafting EJ, fix it and increase your odds of finding the right guy. If it turns out to be EJ September of next year, GREAT, but I have barely seeing ANYTHING from this kid to make me think he is remotely close to the answer.

You know it really pisses me off that Brandon felt he had to point out that only 2 games were true sellouts. So being short 2-3 thousand people in a 70K stadium is some slight to the fans!? 14 years without playoffs and you think this bad attendance Russ? Get a grip you bum, put a winner out there and this topic will never be brought up again. Oh yea - and screw your whole Toronto idea - it killed the playoff dream.

If the Bills go 2-2 which I think will be the case, they pick Kalil Mack. If they do better than expected, I predict TE Ebron out of NC.

Now that the playoff talk has subsided, they HAVE to let EJ throw the ball around so we can see if this guy is more than just a game manager. This draft coming up is crucial to see if this team needs to build on EJ or get some competition for him. I would LOVE to see EJ throw the ball around with confidence and not worry about ints....

Defenders in particular as they are one (maybe 2) away from really making the next big jump. It is exciting for players to go to a defense that attacks and has a solid base already. If money is the same being offered, I would definitely say Buffalo will have an edge on other teams. Every year I hear defenders in FA talking about how they will play in certain schemes.

If they could add a guard, that would be great as it would allow them to target LB and TE in Round 1 and 2

Anyone know the status of some of these guys as there are some pretty sweet names that could help this team a lot. No way the Saints don't sign Graham but what about players like Orakpo and Hardy? I know, I have tried soooooo damn hard to not let these losses ruin me like they used to and as hard as I try, a devastating loss like this one just puts me into that "WHYYYYYYY US" mindframe again. I think the hardest part about this loss is that they are so close to having a great season but they STILL mange to choke it away at the MOST inopportune moments. They need to learn how to win and until they do, it's groundhogs day. All i can do from losing my mind is tell myself that this loss will get us that receiver or TE or LB that may not have been their during the draft (yes, that's a stretch but it's all I got.)

I was gonna say at least I wasn't that Alabama fan yesterday when Auburn won in that fashion.....then, I thought - wait, I am that fan. Seriously, fck this team.

Well, as far as the losing out goes, could not care less either way. That locker-room will implode is my guess.....
