I think the biggest thing here is the NFL has tapes of what the new Bills regime wants to do. They always say with Rookies or new coaches once the NFL has tape they’ll catch up to you. Once they do it’s up to you to grow and adjust. I think McDermott is doing a good job but we can’t afford any more injuries and need to play flawless football for this team to have a chance to win.

I wonder if this is how Seahawk fans felt when we traded Marshawn?

Bills Hire Sean McDermott as New Head Coach
Sherman replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he is scheme dependent I don't want him. We were 4-3 for Pettine then got rid of several players and drafted for Wrecks 3-4 defense. If he is scheme dependent then we need to turnover roster yet again. I want a football coach that puts players in positions to make plays. I remember Marty Schottenheimer on NFL radio said once that when he was hired he brought in coordinators who he thought could get the best out of his players. He never worried about 3-4 vs 4-3. Just get the good coaches because the NFL will always catch up to the next scheme. -
I just want the next person to take what we have and get the best out of them. I'm tired of them hiring people who need to "bring in their type of guys" to "run their system". That's the problem. Every 3-5 years we change offensive systems and defensive systems. Constant churn of personnel.

Did Doug Waley support/want the Rex Ryan hire?
Sherman replied to Jobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe Rex "Defensive Genius" reputation may have been earned because of the players he had. Ray Lewis as coordinator in Baltimore and Darrelle Revis in NY. Those are two first ballot hall of fame players. Those two players raise the level of play on their defenses. The Bills D has talent but they lack leadership anything close to that. Don't get me wrong I love Kyle Williams but Ray Lewis was another level. -
Marcel Reece - Guy gets no respect.

I'm pretty sure the Raiders converted him from Wide Receiver to Fullback. He would be a great fallback option for Clay. -
WR Percy Harvin's first visit is with Bills
Sherman replied to Punch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just a guess but with all the reporters and social media if they leave, there is an offer or an agreement we will find out.The suspense is killing me. I guess I'm just excited and hope they can finally take the next step as an organization. -
Scott Chandler RELEASED (Now signed by Pats)
Sherman replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm surprised they couldn't get anything for him. 7th rounder even? -
I thought I saw earlier that the Bills will announce Cassell tomorrow at a noon press conference. I don't know though. I've looked at so much stuff today.

Andy Reid as Bills next head coach?
Sherman replied to superbills315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Andy Reid is an average coach who had an excellant D coordinator when they were winning. Andy Reid got a lot of credit for his team winning when Jim Johnson coached the D. -
Romeo Crennel and Scott Pioli
Sherman replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At the same time Pioli left Michael Dimitroff left the Pats and went to Atlanta. Outside of Brady and Belecheck maybe he was the brains behind the Patriot dynasty? -
Hasn't Lindell missed most game winning attempts? KC comes to mind, a game vs Cleveland, Dallas when it counted. I'm ok with them replacing the guy if this kid can do it in a game.

I read that Glenn was a guard last year and made the move to LT this year. Also, the tape from the begining of the year was very different than the end of the year and the Senior Bowl. Based on that I think the Bills see a talent that is developong in a new position for him. On Grahm I thought I saw that he was a track guy who has only been playing football for a few years. Another player with talent and learning to play their position. I don't think someone like Mayock or Kiper take when the film was taken into consideration.

Thinking of throwing in the towel
Sherman replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cancel your subsription, send the boxes back and sign up under your wife's name. You can get whatever the deal is at the time for new subscribers. Yes it is a hassle but you basically get the Sunday Ticket for free and you can cancel the Ticket the year after if you want. No reason not to have the ticket for football because the Bills suck. -

I like the sound of this but would prefer Vincent Jackson. -
I am calling it now...I am behind you CJ Spiller
Sherman replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think there are many people who don't want him to succeed. Those that said they don't think he will haven't seen anything to make them think that he will. They would probably love to have to eat their words. -
The closest thing to a voice the fan has is to not visit their websites, buy their merchandise, go to their uniform unveilings or spend any money on NFL products. Small business going to court for damages probably has no grounds. They should be able to run their business independently of the NFL. If they can't then they need to evaluate their business. The public should have a right to sue but it was probably in the contracts local politicians agreed to with NFL teams stating that payments will be made regardless of events at the stadiums.

I can't go because I don't live in the area but I'd love to see little if any attendance to this event if there is still a lockout. The fan has almost no voice in the matter but I think that message would be received.
