  1. Fans root for the best of the team. If I think getting rid of Jauron will help the team, and it takes losing to make that occur, then I still consider myself a fan even if I'm hoping we lose. It's not as if I take pleasure in seeing us lose week to week, but the way I see it, we are never moving forward, as it is right now. If we go 4-12 Ralph has to fire Jauron, and that helps the Buffalo Bills organization, which is what I want. I'm unsure that we're already in the "we should root for him to lose!" situation, so I do still want them to win, but once we're eliminated from playoff contention, the winning needs to end. Winning in Denver last year was the worst thing that happened to this team.
  2. How did miami go from 1-15 to 11-5 in one year, when they lost the leagues defensive MVP that year? By bringing in Pennington? Jake Long? How did NE go 11-5 last year starting matt cassel and benjarvus green ellis? Is Bart Scott really a big enough talent change so that the Jets go from bad to unbelievably good? Why is it that an offense featuring Pierre Thomas, Drew Brees, Marques Colston, and Robert Meachem is top 2-3 in the league, while an offense featuring Marshawn Lynch, Fred Jackson, Lee Evans, and Terrell Owens can't get a TD all game long? It's because of talent, really?
  3. Or, like last week, two slow unathletic white TE's on the field
  4. Let me start off by saying I love Fred Jackson. I have talked to him 3-4 times before, he's a great guy. He sure as hell had a great game the other day. BUT lynch is unbelievable. He's the better player. You guys must've forgotten the Browns game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adxy0HAkyHI
  5. Trent didnt play poorly. There was one play that he got hit as he threw and everything else was ogod. Just wanted to make that clear.
  6. He doesn't care to sound like you.
  7. Went to camp today...noticed that Byrd is really short. Just figured I'd post that I guess. Looks kinda like Pacman too.
  8. I just went through my freshman year. Went out of state to a school I had no high school friends to attend with. I obviously don't know you're financial situation, but don't worry about cutting costs too much. Yes, buy used books, but don't go overboard, especially as a freshman. You're gonna want to go to football games to get drunk with your buddies. You're gonna want to casually go to the dining hall after class with a few friends. You may need to invite a girl to dinner to be impressive. Strictly cost saving techniques, though: don't use a credit card, buy used books, don't get tricked into spending too much on girls, don't lend too much to friends(so many jews in college), don't let your late night hunger turn into a 20 dollar delivery order. But seriously, assuming you aren't in too bad of shape, don't worry about money too much. Live the life man. You're only gonna be 18 and in college in florida so much in your life. Saving an extra grand but having it cost you frat parties, good liquor, dates, etc simply isn't worth it. Getting a half-assed school job is definitely a good idea, though. With something like that, it almost forces you to do work. Chilling in your dorm will lead to friends coming over, napping, tv, etc. Having a job in a computer lab or library, you will pretty much have to study. You're not gonna wanna study sunday night after the bills loss, so study on a wednesday afternoon while getting paid to chill in the library. And oh yeah, don't follow the cell phone advice listed above. With all due respect to the opinions above, you simply will be a fish out of water not having texting or a pay as you go phone or whatever. Spend the money on a phone and be able to text ppl for dinner plans, flirting, etc. Not being able to do so def isn't a good idea.
  9. McGee is more overrated than underrated. If he wasn't a return specialist, we would view him as the 4th rd mediocre starter that he is. Instead, he made the pro bowl the one year and has all the hype in the world. Moulds is definitely underrated, though.
  10. Have you ever swatted at a bee? Stepped on an ant? Eaten turkey on thanksgiving? Dogs really aren't that !@#$ing special, and if you want to quit being a fan because the bills bring in a special player because he used to fight dogs, then you just arent a fan. I bet Lou Saban once killed an ant, do you hate him? I root for the Bills to score touchdowns, not to be nice dudes. If Marshawn smokes weed, so be it, as long as he scores. If Whitner wants to fight a cop, I really, truly don't care. He's not my friend, he's a player on the team I'm a fan of.
  11. I just showed you the tape to prove that the numbers really don't mean anything. If Lee Evans has a game with 19 yds, and he's 50th in the AFC that week in yards, is he the 50th best reciever? No...He just had the 50th best yards total. If he played on the Pats or Colts, its an easy bet he'd be in the top 5-10. TO can still run, and if you can't see that in my links, then you aren't watching them correctly. Just because Garrett/Romo/Witten took away from his numbers doesn't mean he sucks.
  12. Please just watch these clips for me. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlig...9ers-vs-Cowboys http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlig...boys-highlights You guys can watch sportscenter and hear mark schlereth and ed werder say that TO has become old and is simply a locker room killer, but that's just dead wrong. The guy can still run. He's going to help us if Trent/Turk decide to air it out.
  13. Left tackle and right tackle are completely different stories. If Walker were to start at RT, i wouldn't whine at all. He did hold his own last year. I simply fail to see him keeping up with those guys at all. Bell is quick, looked halfway decent in preseason, and seems much better fit to play LT.
  14. Will be a better LT this year than Langston Walker. Walker is a kind of old, fat, overweight giant. He's going to embarrass himself trying to block on the left side. The right side, fine, he can block over there against the chris kelsay's of the world. But 95% of RE's should be able to beat him consistently. Even if Bell is weak, he is athletic enough to keep up with these guys, and you would think he is at least strong enough to push around the Freeney's, Schobel's, Maybin's, and Adalius Thomas's of the world. Being a LT is not about being 6'8 and having no agility, its about being athletic and quick and at least average strength(which Bell should've developed). Even if Walker is the better football player per se, he will absolutely suck on the left side. And please don't point to the first few games last year. There will undoubtedly be at least 12 times Walker's guy simply runs around him, if he starts at LT.
  15. Thats the right answer. I went from about 165 my junior year of high school to about 205 by the end of my senior year, and it was all good muscle. Some of it has become fat, but thats another story haha. But yeah, as long as your working out a lot, go ahead and eat whatever you want. Go to McDonalds, it really doesnt matter. You'll get fat in your arms and sh--, and then when you work it out, it'll get jacked. As for working out itself, do more than you think you should. I have so many friends who have complimented me on how much bigger I got or whatever. Then I'll peer pressure them into doing another set, and I hear about how they "already did their 3 sets of 10..." Working out isn't about doing a predictable 3 sets of 10 of 4 differnet exercises, its about kicking your muscles' collective asses. If your chest hurts, do another set. You're not going to hurt yourself. And yeah, doing shoulders makes you look really jacked.
